In portions in camber, rolling should begin at the edge with the roller running forward and

(0.0342 m3.) for different proportions of mix shall be as per IS 456-2000. Theproportion of the
aggregate for the kerb stone shall be modified as per the approval of the engineer-in-charge.
The water cement ratios shall not be more than those specified as per IS. The cement of the mix
shallbe increased, if the quantity of water in a mix has to be increased to overcome the
difficulties of placementand compaction so that the water cement ratio specified in the table is
not exceeded. The maximum size ofcoarse aggregate shall be as large as possible within the
limits specified but in no case greater than 1/4th ofthe minimum thickness of the member,
provided that the concrete can be placed without difficulty so as tosurround all reinforcement

sizes shall be used formeasuring sand and aggregate. The size of the boxes (internal) shall be
30cm. x 30 cm. and 38 cm. deep. While measuring the aggregate and sand, the box shall be filled
