Appendix 1- Reactive Maintenance

OD116509/2024-2025:Providing and fixing of DLP board for Running contract work with non retro- reflectorised vinyl sign with 1 year warranty manufactured vinyl printed sheeting fixed over aluminum sheeting 2 mm thick/aluminum composite material sheeting 4 mm thick with an area not exceeding 0.9 sqm, with suitable back supporting frame of MS angle 40x40x6 and supported on GI pipe pole 50mm NB confirming to IS 1239, firmly fixed to the ground by means of properly designed foundation with M 15 grade cement concrete min size 45 cm x 45 cm x 60 cm, 60 cm. below ground level including painting all exposed surface with 2 coats of epoxy painting over epoxy primer and as per approved drawing and clause 801 including lettering symbols etc

55.4:Supplying and stacking 36mm size hard broken stone in standard heaps for measurement.

55.8.a:Filling up pot holes (cut and formed to regular shapes and all loose and defective materials removed) after supplying a prime coat of hot bitumen using 36mm departmental broken stone and compacting with power roller to get a compact surface.

55.7.a:Providing bitumen leveling coarse between 40mm and 150mm with 36mm deptl metal by spreading the metal to line and levels and rolling until the compacted coarse aggregate has a firm surface and applying hot bitumen with pressure sprayer at the rate of 20 Kg per M3 metal including all cost of bitumen conveyance heating mixing spreading in appropriate locations to proper levels compacting with power roler and other sundry stores.

4.12:Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate to Wet Mix Macadam specification including premixing the Material with water at OMC in mechanical mix plant carriage of mixed Material by tipper to site, laying in uniform layers with paver in sub- base / base course on well prepared surface and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density.

5.2.a:Providing and applying tack coat with bitumen emulsion( RS) using emulsion pressure distributor at the rate of 0.20 - 0.30 kg per sqm on the prepared bituminous surface cleaned with mechanical broom.

OD116487/2024-2025: Providing, laying and rolling of close-graded premix surfacing material of 20 mm thickness composed of 11.2 mm to 0.09 mm (Type-A) aggregates using penetration grade bitumen to the required line, grade, and level to serve as wearing course on a previously prepared base, including mixing in a suitable plant,laying and rolling with a three wheel 8-10 KN static roller and finishing to required level and grades as per technical clause 509 of MORTH

OD116489/2024-2025:Conducting and Reporting Routine Maintenance inspections for the entire length of the project road at a frequency of 7 days throughout the agreement period of the running contract as directed by the departmental officers at site. Additional Routine Inspection may be required in response to reports or complaints from the police other authorities and the public as a result of major incidence, typhoon or flooding damages etc. and are not measurable/ payable. A portion of the routine inspection may be carried out either during or immediately following a period of wet weather.

Appendix 2- Pre-Monsoon

2.2:Clearing grass and removal of rubbish up to a distance of 50 metres outside the periphery of the area

OD116497/2024-2025:Cutting branches of trees overhanging above the roads, which is harm ful for passengers of girth between 40cm to 60cm including stacking of serviceable materials and disposal of unserviceable material, cost of labour, hire charges of rope and pully etc without making any damages to nearby structures etc complete.

3.11:Removal of unserviceable soil including excavation, loading and disposal upto 1000 metres lead but excluding replacement by suitable soil which shall be paid separately as per clause 305.

3.24.B:Construction of unlined surface drains of average cross sectional area 0.40 sqm in soil by Manual Means to specified lines, grades, levels and dimensions to the requirement of clause 301 and 309. Excavated material to be used in embankment within a lead of 50 metres (average lead 25 metres)

55.15:Refurbishment of existing signboardsRefurbishment of existing signboards of all size except gantry mounted ones to their original reflectivity & position by removing obstructions like overgrowth vegitation etc ,if any,washing the signboards with water & soap solution to remove all dirt, oil etc. , correcting any dislocations including minor repairs, replacement of lost nut and bolts etc complete.

3.13.1.B:Earth work in excavation of foundation of structures as per drawing and technical specification, including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious matter, dressing of sides and bottom, backfilling the excavation earth to the extent required and utilising the remaining earth locally for road work. Ordinary soil - Mechanical Means - (Depth upto 3 m)

12.4:Plain cement concrete 1:3:6 nominal mix in foundation with crushed stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size mechanically mixed, placed in foundation and compacted by vibration including curing for 14 days.

55.11.1:Flexible Hazard Marker 30cm x 30cm Hazard Marking on the surface of trees,concrete,Masonry etc using Aluminium backed flexible presmatic (AFP) SHEETING CONSISTING OF Yellow colored flexible presmatic sheeting non-metallic presmatic lens as recto reflective elements and conforming to ASTM D 4956-09 Type IV specification values for reboundable sheetig with printed arrow /Slant line pattern in black colour. AFP sheeting laminated at the back with a 50 micron thick Aluminium (AI) foil with pressure sensitive adhesive and liner and shall not crack when tested for flexibility as per section S2.2.2 of ASTM D 4956-09 including application on any surface with adhesive as recommended by manufacturer and ceiling the edges all around with epoxy based structural adhesive to resist any peel-off.

8.13:Providing and laying of hot applied thermoplastic compound 2.5 mm thick including reflectorising glass beads on Bituminous Surface @ 250 gms per sqm area, the thickness of 2.5 mm is exclusive of surface applied glass beads as per IRC:35. The finished surface to be level, uniform, and free from streaks and holes.
