RequiredTo qualify for Award of this contract, Tenderer in his name should have achieved in at least One financial year in the last five years i.e. period of 2021-22 to 2025-26, a minimum financial turnover in all classes of civil engineering construction works only of Rs. 27.96 lakhs. Attach Balance sheets & Profit & Loss account statements indicating the contract receipts related to civil engineering construction works received in last 5 years duly certified by the chartered accountant.

RequiredTo qualify for Award of this contract, each Tenderer should have in his name in the last five years, satisfactorily completed as prime contractor, at least Any Construction work of value not less than Rs. 6.99 lakhs. Attach Work done Certificate issued by competent authority of rank not less than Executive Engineer.

Eligibility Criteria

Estimate rates are excluding GST as per Common SR 2023-24 CONTINUED FOR 2026-27 and prevailing GST (18% of Amount Put to tender) amount is kept in form of Lump sum in sanctioned estimate according to guidelines in Common SR 2023-24(As per circular from Govt. of Karnataka no.12/2024 Bangaluru Dt:09.08.2024). Therefore, amount put to Tender and ECV amount are excluding GST. KPPP-PORTAL format has No Options to add GST Separately at stage of Draft Tender Schedule Process for Over All amount put to Tender, tender has been inviting through an Option with INCLUSIVE. But the item wise rates do not include GST. Hence, GST will be paid separately for the quoted amount accordingly. Hence the bidder has quote the rate exclusive of GST and to submit a declaration which is duly signed by the bidder along with their tender proposal.

Tenders from Joint ventures are not acceptable.

The contractor shall submit the details of technical staff employed by him.

It shall be the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure credit of Tender Processing Fee and EMD into the respective receiving bank accounts of e-Procurement on or before the last date and time of bid submission.

EMD Payments through e-Payment mode shall be made as one single transaction and payments made in part are liable for rejection.

Conditional tenders will not be accepted.

The tenderer shall bear all costs associated with the preparation and submission of his tender, and the employer will in no case be responsible and liable for those costs

The cost of the Tender form shall not be refundable.

The employer is not responsible for any delay in accessing Karnataka Public procurement portal

Royalty on construction materials and other applicable taxes will be deducted as per prevailing Govt orders.

All the formats prescribed in the bid document shall be filled by the tenderer in complete manner.

All scanned documents to be uploaded shall be in original and the Executive Engineer reserves the right to verify the documents before approval

The employer reserves the rights to Reject or accept any or all the tenders without assigning any reasons.

All safety precautions, warning signs, night illumination, reflectors, deployment of security guards has to be ensured so that no untoward incidents happens on account of negligence or any project activity. Contractor should indemnify the client to that extent.

The item rates quoted shall include cost of royalty charges on construction materials and other taxes as per the rates provided in prevailing cost & conveyance of all materials, Curing, Watering, unloading with all leads & lifts Labour, hire charges of machinery equipment etc., complete including all incidental charges. All the items shall beexecuted as directed by the Engineer in charge of the work.

Further particulars, if any, required by the Contractor can be had from the office of the concerned Executive Engineer, PWD Division, during office hours on all working days.

Contractor should follow strictly the prevailing rules of labour act.

The Tenderer should furnish all the necessary original documents mentioned above to the Executive engineer

The intending bidders are requested to note that they should abide by the instructions and conditions contained in the Standard Tender documents KW-2 K.P.W.D. and further orders thereon.

Contractor has to upload the valid EPF registration copy.

The successful bidder has to follow the prevailing Government orders regarding Royalty Charges. The Contractor has to submit MDP Certificate along with the running contractor bills. Otherwise Department will take necessary action as per the Government Orders/Circulars.

Increase in GST shall not be paid in the extended period of contract.

As per Karnataka state Government order LD.300.LET.2006 Bangalore dated 01.01.2007 and Government letter no PW.134.BMS.2007 dated 27.07.2007 a sum amounting to 1Percent of the bill amount will be deducted towards constructions labour welfare fund

Contractor should take all precautions to ensure that no damage is caused to the existing works and other similar structures which have been constructed by other agencies during project execution. If any damage is caused, it has to be rectified at his own risk and cost.

Materials like bitumen steel cement etc required for the work shall be procured by the tenderer themselves and should got tested by the quality control authority before use on the work

Bidder shall pay Contract Management Module processing fees of 0.025% of the contact value (Min Rs.500/- & Max Rs.7500/-) soon after contract has been issued to bidder

The contractor has to quote the same rate to the same items of work that is to be executed at different chainages. If in case, the contractor quotes different rates for the same item appearing at different places of BOQ then, the lowest quoted rate for the same items will be considered for that particular item for evaluation and payment.

This work is reserved for Scheduled Tribe only

The successful bidder shall achieve the pot hole free road within 2 months from the date of work order for the safe and convenient public road transport.

The Defect Liability period for the this work is upto the end of August - 2027

Tenderer should maintain the road in good condition free from potholes and has to carryout all necessary maintenance work for a period upto Dt.31-08-2027 as directed by Engineer in charge of work.

The Contractor should carryout the awarded work as per the norms laid down by ISO:14001/2025 Environmental Management System and ISO:9001/2015 Quality Management System.
