Refractory repair works of furnaces in NP Plant of FACT Cochin Division, Ambalamedu, Kochi, ATA 2026.

ATA Job- Chipping Acid proof bricks / Refractory bricks / Refractory castable etc. of any thickness & stacking useful materials for reuse including disposal of debris within a distance of 150 m, cleaning the surface etc complete as per directions.

Chipping of product or material deposition in cold molten condition of any thickness from plenum chamber, furnace body mainly drier entry area including disposal of debris within a distance of 150 m, cleaning the surface etc complete as per directions.

Applying refractory lining material by Guniting inside Boilers, Furnaces and other plant equipments including all charges for scaffolding, skilled manpower, necessary equipments, tools and tackles etc. complete and disposing the rebound material within a distance of 1 KM as per departmental instructions.

Supply at site High Temperature Alumina Castable Refractory packed in 50 Kg polythene bags as per following specifications along with test certificate Service Temperature : 1450 Deg.C (max) Refractoriness : 1680 Deg.C(min) Dry density : 2500 kg/m3 (min) Linear change: +/-1.0% at 1400 Deg.C/3hrs (max) Cold crushing strength - at 110 Deg.C: 350 kg/cm2(min); at 1450 Deg.C: 450 kg/cm2 Chemical analysis - Al203: 70% (min); Fe203: 5% (max) Grain Size : 5mm(max) Initial setting time: 2 Hours

Collecting spoil earth, debris etc.from site, conveying to places with an average lead of 1 KM by mechanical transport, dumping and forming embankment for filling, spreading in layers as per directions (20%deduction will be made if measured loose in lorries & from stack).

ATA Job - Opening the manholes of A & B stream Furnaces as requested by Plant Manager in NP plant by chipping and closing the manhloes as per site requirement after the completion of the work with all labour charges etc complete including disposal of waste materials to railway siding as per departmental instructions (The Acid Proof/refractory brick and mortar materials required for the work will be issued from our stores/at site free of cost)
