Pump house cum attendent / Chowkidar room, Pannel Room, Automatic control Room Head Work Seoh :- Construction of pump houses with load bearing wall. The pump house shall be aesthetically designed ( to be approved by the competent authority). The work shall include all internal and external electrical wiring, water supply and sanitary fitting and other allied items. The clear height of walls shall be 5.50 mtrs. above floor level to roof level . The thickness of slab shall not be less than 100 mm. in all respect shall be included in plinth area rates. The outer doors & Windows shall be in double shutters of anodized Alluminium and anodized Alluminium grills for windows. Internal wiring shall be in PVC conduit.The various requirements for pump house are elaborated in chapter 1 and data sheet No.3 Rate for any increase or decrease in area in sqmt. To be paid proportionately. Location: Head Work at Seoh. Plinth Area requirement :- 495.06 Sqmt
Construction of Desilting tank ( Pre settling tank, Tube settler):- “The desilting structure shall be RCC structure with tube settlers be constructed at head works in design mix M-30.The desilting tank should be capable of removal of silt particles which are to be ascertained by the contractor after getting the sieve analysis done. However department has evolved the design for calculation purposes by taking a average particles size of 0.01mm. "As per relevant data sheet No. 2 and specification in Vol. II”.
Construction of RCC Collection Tank/ Sump well ,Main Delivery tanks and Zonal Level Tanks :- Designing, Constructing, Testing & Commissioning (to be approved by the competent authority) RCC circular under ground/partial under ground storage reservoirs as per capacity given below at various stages/sites including excavation in foundation in all kinds of soil. including PCC (1:3:6) in foundation and M:30 design mix in bottom slab/raft ,walls and beams. And RCC (1:1.5:3) in roof slab and all alied Civil Works such as c/o chamber for valves, refilling and disposing of surplus excavated earth with in all leads and lifts. The job also includes providing lowering, laying, erecting, hoisting and jointing of pipe assembly for inlet, outlet, overflow and scour pipe with bye pass arrangement consisting of GI / MS pipes special and valves of required classes and dia and all other accessories required such as MS ladders inside and outside, M.S. manhole covers with frames of heavy duty with proper locking arrangement, water level indicator. The tanks shall be hydraulically tested for water tightness, All works shall be conforming to relevant IS code. The cost of valves shall be included in the rates of tanks .complete in all respects to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge. The contractor shall provide 6 sets of approved drawing and design to the department including cost of site development required as per site conditions. “as per data sheet No.6 to 4, 5 & 6 and specifications in Vol-II” Location.

PUMPING MACHINERY SUBMERSIBLE:- Providing and errection of 4 Nos. Submersible Raw water Pumping sets of reputed make such as Kirloskar, BHEL, NGEF / GEC / Siemens / Clama / KSB / SU /Jahonston make conforming to latest relevant BIS Code. The pump should be fitted with free flow impellers of bronge/ suitable alloys as per BIS 5659-1970 with latest amendments (if any) suitable for clear water with 5000 PPM turbidity having water lubricated bearing bush and stainless steel shaft with stator on motor side and with soft protection sleeve on pump side ensuring better life for shaft coupled to a submersible squirrel cage electric induction motor (water proof type) of suitable HP, RPM 2900 make conforming to BIS 9283-1979 latest with up to date amendments, totally dust and water proof for submersible duly isolated from the pump by intermediate casing with double mechanical seal in oil chamber and grease packed lubricated to with stand long vertical loads with minimum wear and tear. It should also be fitted with a device to take up expansion of water with the heating of motor. The pump should include water level guards, erection clamps, cable clips and depth gauge with upto date amendments. It should include cost of bearing nuts bolts and painting etc. The pumping machinery shall be installed and anchored properly. All electrical equipments such as Starter, ICTP switches, MCB, Bush bar chamber, MCB, Panel board indicating lamps, Ammeter, Voltmeter, Hour run meter should be of electronic type , incoming and outgoing water proof cable for panel board, Double loop earthing, copper cable pressure gauge, capacitor, common header, sluice valve, NRV,Transformers i/c standby provision of transformers including erection and testing complete involving all wear and tear at the time of erection and testing. The work should be completed to the entire satisfaction to the Engineer-in – Charge. The rates shall be for complete Job to run the machinery in proper working. and should meet with the requirements. (Ist stage) For detailed design parameters/ requirements are given in data sheet No. 11 in Vol-II. including complete automation. The power of electric motor/motors should be at least (+) 10% in excess of the maximum power required by the pump/pumps in the operation range of (+) 10% and (-) 25% of the duty point head. The motor/motors should be as per IS: 325-1978 with upto date amendments read with IS:900-1972. The starting current of the motor shall be limited to not more than 4.5 to 5 times of full load current. it should include cost of bearing nuts, bolts and painting etc and should meet the following requirement as per data sheet No.12. R/main-3 - No. of working sets = 6 Nos. (Discharge of each working pump= 35.21 LPS), Total Head=481.15 Mtrs. Type of Pump sets-Centrifugal =6x415=3600 HP.

Providing, laying, jointing, testing & commissioning at site in trenches bevelled ended BIS marked MSERW pipes of various grade conforming to IS/ISO-3183-2012 L485 or X70 and L415 or X60 its equivalent specifications latest with upto date amendments of following dia with upto date amendments having wall thickness and per Rmt weight as mentioned below & capable of withstanding required test pressure as prescribed in BIS code in random lengths of 6 to 7 mtr. The pipes ends shall be bevelled suitable for butt welding including the cost of jointing with butt welding conforming to IS 816-1969 or latest as applicable ends with upto date amendments (leak proof) in three layers at site of work with welding rods of standard make and all allied accessories whatever required for welding at site, tail pieces, tees, bends and other specials manufactured from parent pipes as applicable to the particular reach & of approved specification as per site conditions and cutting of pipes wherever required as per site requirement including carriage in all leads and lifts and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. The pipe shall haves zinc coating inside & out side conforming to IS/ISO-4736-1986 or latest with upto date amendments & shall be engraved with code IS/ISO-3183-2007 or its equivalent and the pipe shall be galvanized at the same factory premises of MS pipe manufacturer. The laying shall conform to BIS 5822-1970 or latest with upto date amendments with provision of scour pipe after every km by providing Tee & Sluice valve etc.complete in all respect with carriage in all leads & lifts and to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge (Earth work ,flanged joints & butt welded joints shall be measured and paid for separately).

Gravity Main Phase I & II:- Excavation in foundations and trenches (for pipes and pits) upto all depths etc. in all kinds of soil such as pick work, jumper work and saturated soil including bailing or pumping out of water, blasting in soft/hard rock or chiseling or wedging out of same where blasting is prohibited in all leads and lifts including trimming and dressing of sides, leveling of beds to correct grade including shoring strutting, planking timbering and dewatering wherever required, stacking usable and unusable material/soil separately and after laying jointing and testing of pipes, returning he usable soil in 15 cm layer by ramming and watering and then disposing of all surplus excavated soil/unusable material as directed within all leads and lifts including restoration of unmetaled/ mattelled surfaces to its original condition and including cost of diversion of traffic, night signal boards, fixing caution boards, crossing over trenches for access to houses, fencing etc. complete in all respects within all leads and lifts as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge.“As per relevant data sheet No. 10 and specification in Vol. II”
Providing, laying, jointing and testing in trenches (to level or grade) of GI pipes of following dia & class conforming to BIS 1239-1990 (Part - I ) with latest upto date amendments of grade and wall thickness as specified below, suitable to withstand required hydraulic test pressure in randum length 4m-6m with plain ends and jointed with MS Flanges conforming to IS 6392-1971(Latest upto date amendments) and welding of flanges as per IS 816-1969 with electrodes as per IS 814-1991 including required number and size of MS nuts and bolts as per IS 1369-1967 and compressed asbestos fibre jointing gaskets sheet not less than 3.00 mm in thickness as per IS 2712-1998. Providing, laying, jointing, testing & commissioning at site in trenches bevelled ended BIS marked MSERW pipes of various grade conforming to IS/ISO-3183-2012 L210 or A or its equivalent specifications latest with upto date amendments of following dia with upto date amendments having wall thickness and per Rmt weight as mentioned below & capable of withstanding required test pressure as prescribed in BIS code in random lengths of 6 to 7 mtr. The pipes ends shall be bevelled suitable for butt welding including the cost of jointing with butt welding conforming to IS 816-1969 or latest as applicable ends with upto date amendments (leak proof) in three layers at site of work with welding rods of standard make and all allied accessories whatever required for welding at site, tail pieces, tees, bends and other specials manufactured from parent pipes as applicable to the particular reach & of approved specification as per site conditions and cutting of pipes wherever required as per site requirement including carriage in all leads and lifts and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
