Repair Maintenance to Certain Substations, LT Distribution System, Capacitor Banks and Other Allied Works at TP, Non-TP Area at INS Kalinga, NAD Bheemunipatnam, INS Karna, Visakhapatnam

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5m wide and not exceeding 10 Sq.m on plan area and not exceeding 1.5m deep in Soft / Loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm thick of excavated soil complete all as specified and as directed. Note: A deduction of 10% shall be made from total computed volume of filling to cater in bulk irrespective of machinery used for ramming.

Removal of excavated material [Soil] to a distance not exceeding 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 m complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for Dry River Sand cushioning over and around the cable for cable protection in trenches, levelled and punned down complete all as specified and as directed. Note: The punned down thickness shall be measured for payment.

Supplying and laying un–reinforced Precast Concrete Cable Cover, Class LV, Type 1, Flat, of size 250mm x 150mm x 40mm complete all as specified and as directed.

Re-laying serviceable bricks for cable protection complete all as specified and as directed. Note: serviceable bricks obtained during taking down of cable shall be reused.

M & L for Cutting Bituminous Road / Hardstanding etc. as required for Jointing / Laying Cables and Pipeline of width not exceeding 300mm and depth not exceeding 600mm and refilling after laying and making good with PCC 1:2:4, Type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate, 100mm thick complete all as specified and as directed.

Supplying and laying GI pipe, 50mm dia, Light grade for cable protection at road crossing etc. or fixing on wall / poles of any type, secured with clamps complete including taking down or up GI Pipe and connections of any description all as specified and as directed.

Supplying and laying GI pipe, 80mm dia, Light grade for cable protection at road crossing etc. or fixing on wall / poles of any type, secured with clamps complete including taking down or up GI Pipe and connections of any description all as specified and as directed.

Re-laying and testing XLPE insulated and PVC sheathed, FRLS, armoured heavy duty underground cable, ISI marked with aluminium stranded conductor 1100 Volt grade of size 2 / 3½ / 4 Core, 10 Sq.mm to 70 Sq.mm cross section suitable for earthed system, laying in trenches / duct / fixed to poles / drawn through pipes / sleeving through pipe in duct, including suitable size Double compression copper stainless steel cable gland, crimping type cable lugs, sockets etc. including taking down old LT Cables of any description complete all as specified and as directed.
