Excavation infoundation and trenches etc.(including pipes and pits upto all depths) in all kinds of soil such as pick work, jumper work, blasting and chiselling soft or hard rock where blasting is prohibited in all leads and lifts including trimming and dressing of sides, levelling of bed to correct grade stacking the excavated soil clear from the edge of excavation and returning the excavated soil after laying, jointing and testing of pipes in trenches in 15cm layers including consolidating each deposited layers by ramming and watering and then disposing of all surplus excavated soil as directed in all leads and lifts and soring strutting and trimming and dressing where ever required including cost of diversion for traffic night signals fixing caution board, crossing over trenches for access to houses and fencing etc. complete in all respect.

Pick /jumper work

Providing, laying, jointing and testing in trenches of galvanised MSERW flanged pipe excluding cost of flanged bends of all degrees conforming to IS/:3183-2012 of followings grade as per dimensions, weight and test pressure mentioned there in code in random lengths of 4 to 6 mtrs. The MS flanges are to be provided as per table given below confirming to IS 6392-1971 (latest upto date amendements) and remaining joints shall be butt welded joints by considering requisite layers and welding of pipes will be as per IS:816-1969 with electrodes as per IS:814-1991 of make Adwani /Orelon (Adore) /ESAB. The welding of flnages to be done on both faces in two layers on outer face & one layer on inner face to make the joints leak proof and to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge. The laying of pipe shall confirm to IS: 5822-1994 and as per CPHEEO manual. The laying will include all operations such as cutting welding and jointing including flushing cleaning and hydraulic testing complete in all respect to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge including entire carriage of materials (earth work in trenches, flanged joint and butt welded joints except bends to be measured and paid for separately) The pipes and specials shall have zinc coated ( out side & inside) in factory permises as per BIS-4736, the galvanization shall be done by the manufacturing firm itself complete in all respect.

Booster Stage 250 mm dia MSERW pipe IS:3183-2012 grade L210 or A having wall thickness 4.80 mm (RD 0/0 to 115 ) flange Table 5.

Providing circumferencial Butt welded joints by electrical arc welding to following diameter MSERW pipe, welded in requisite layers of weld runs so as to achieve the minimum effective throat thickness of weld conforming to IS: 816-1969 specifications, by using welding electrodes of 2.50 mm to 6.30 mm of Advani , Oerlikon (Adore)-CITOJET/ESAB make conforming to IS:814-1991, at site of work complete in all respects, including manual/mechanical handling of pipes in all leads and lifts to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and welding M.S. flanges at suitable points , conforming to following tables as per IS 6392-1971 (Latest with upto date amendments) with plain end GMS/GMSERW pipe in requsite layers on both faces to make the joint leak proof. The welding of flanges should confirm to IS:816-1969 with electrodes as per IS: 814-1991 and required number of nuts and bolts conforming to IS 1369-1967 including cost of gasket sheet, nuts & bolts. The thickness of gasket sheet not less then 3.00 mm confirming to IS 2712-1998. The work shall be done to the entire satifaction of engineer in charge with in all leads and lifts.

Pumping Machinery

Booster Stage.

Providing/Installation, erection, testing and commissioning of star rated energy efficient Mono Submersible pumping set of KSB/Calama/ Johnstion/ Crompton/BS/ SABAR/ Oswal/ Kirloskar make conforming to latest relevant BIS Code . The pump should be fitted with bronze impeller or suitable alloys suitable for handling clear water having greased packed bearings and shaft with wound stator on motor side and with soft protection sleeve on pump side ensuring better life for shaft coupled to a submersible electric motor (water proof type) of required HP & 2900 RPM or as per manufacturer's specifications of reputed make confirming to BIS 9283-1979 latest with upto date amendments, totally dust and water proof for submersible duty isolated from the pump by intermediate casing with double mechanical seal in oil chamber and grease packed lubricated bearings and provided with stainless steel thrust bearing plate to with stand non vertical loads with minimum wear and tear. It should also be fitted with a device to take up expansion of water with the heating of motor. The type, size and make will be subject to approval of HPSEB authorities & in case of non acceptance by HPSEB authorities same shall be replaced by the bidder.

Providing and fixing circular dial pressure gauge of Fiebig make complete with all accessories such as stop cock, copper tubing etc. as per IS: 3624-1987 with up to date amendments range 0- 16 Kg/cm2

Providing and laying delivery pipe 250mm dia. and common header 300 mm dia MSERW PIPE jointed with MS flanges of table-17 as per IS: 6392-1971 (upto a length of 20 mtrs ) including rappers, flanges, rubber gaskets, nuts and bolts and specials upto 5 mtrs away from the outer wall of pump houses as per layout drawings approved by Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing of floor/wall mounted power factor shunt capacitor conforming to BIS: 2834-1986 latest with upto date amendments Bajaj/L&T/Asian/crompton make to raise the prevailing power factor at site to 0.95 for direct connection to induction motor individually of suitable rating each including cable of siemens/Gloster/ICC make form bus bar chamber to capacitor and also including L&T/LK/Kilburn make ICTP switches conforming to BIS –4064-1978 or latest with HRC fuses (range to be specified by the tendrerer).

1st STAGE Phase 1st stage

The pump should be fitted with bronze impellers of suitable alloys, priming funnels , casing rings, shaft sleeves of bronze, shaft of steel grade EN-8 with cast iron casing coupled directly through a flexible coupling on MS/ Cast steel base plate ( base plate to be provided from the manufacturer,s of the pumping unit only) to slippering type drip proof induction motor of standard make such as Kirloskar/Crompton/ BHEL confirming to BIS 9238-1979 latest with up to date amendments and suitable for operation on 400 (+/-) 10% volts, 50 cycles / second, three phase AC electric supply. The power of electric motor should be atleast 10% in excess of the maximum power required by the pump in the operation range of + 10% and - 15% of the duty point head.
