Provision of illuminated mandatory signage in operational area and replacement of damaged runway / apron circuit at Kangra Airport

Design, Manufacturing and Supply of illuminated taxiway guidance signages of various sizes made of anodized 2 mm (nominal) thick extruded aluminum profile frame with suitable stiffening supports for structural rigidity, 1.5 mm thick aluminum back cover, 4 mm thick poly carbonate sheet with glare free face, supporting legs, breakable coupling etc. The letters and symbols shall be internally pasted/ screen printed with required coloring. The sign boards shall be uniformly internally illuminated with required number of LEDs strips to achieve required illumination level, alongwith drivers, internal control circuit etc and shall operate without any flickering when operated on input source of 2.8 Amps. to 6.6 amps. series current, and having suitable arrangement for water tightness and locking arrangement etc. complete as required. The taxiway guidance signages shall be as per ICAO and confirming to technical specifications. (Legends shall be as approved by Engineer‐in‐charge).

Installation of illuminated taxiway guidance signages of various sizes by providing and laying in position cement concrete 1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size) of nominal size 300 mm x 300 mm x 500 mm for each leg and total base of 150 mm thick cement concrete all around the board as per attached drawing including excavation, finishing, leveling of ground, interconnection with isolating transformer, crimping/ jointing of plug & receptacles, laying of secondary leads, connections, earthing, testing and commissioning etc. complete as per site conditions. (Measurement will be made as per Cement Concrete area (sqm ) of the surface around the sign board) (Isolating transformer, plug & receptacles, secondary cable, pipe shall be supplied by AAI)

Supply of M.S. Isolation Transformer Housing Box, water tight rectangular type, metal container of size 400 MM Height x 330mm Width x 330mm Length. All sides including bottom except top surface shall be made of 6mm thick MS sheet & Top Surface shall be made of 10mm MS Sheet with a round opening of dia 220mm and 6 nos. M10 tapped hole with S. S. inserts on 260mm PCD to receive cover plate and bolts suitable to receive a cover plate on the top, The cover plate shall be made up of MS Plate of 8mm thickness with rubber gasket and 6 nos. M10 S.S. Bolts. All joints shall be continously welded and shall have a clear holes on three side at surface centre suitably above bottom surface to receive of 40 mm dia (outer dia) HDPE/G. I. pipe and including check nuts as required. The box should have One / two S.S. earth bolts of M10 x 40 mm tapped inside near the hole but away from the hole centre and having a drain hole at the bottom centre suitably tapped to receive 15 mm dia, "B" class GI pipe and 6 nos. M10 tapped hole at the hole centre 260 mm to receive cover plate and bolts as required as per the drawings. (a) Two Hole Type

Supply of following type 5 KV grade 50 Hz Isolating transformer series type encapsulated in neoprene type rubber with primary and secondary leads as specified in particular technical specification. (a) 200 Watt 6.6 Amps /6.6 Amps

Installation of transformer housing boxes with a base concrete of 1:3:6 of size 1300 x 1300 x 50 mm thick all around concrete of 1:2:4, 150 mm thick, the top sloped with 1:2:4 cement including providing and fixing 250 mm long 15 mm dia "B" Class GI pipe with check nut for drainage of water etc. including excavation of side shoulder and refilling etc complete as required.

Supply of following sizes 5 KV grade XLPE / PVC insulated & PVC sheathed, antitermite & anti-rodent, multi-stranded copper conductor single core Airfield lighting cable confirming to IS 1554 (Part-II) with up to date amendments and confirming to tenders technical specifications, terms & conditions etc. complete as required.

Supply of following size ISI marked, HDPE pipe confirming to IS-4984-1995 with up to date amendments and confirming to tender’s technical specifications, terms & conditions i/c loading, unloading etc. complete as required. (a) 63 mm (OD), PN-6, PE 80

Laying of following size. HDPE/GI pipe in the soil / ground at depth of min 0.6 Mtrs including covering with excavation and refilling the trench, consolidation and making good the surface etc. complete as required. (a) 63 mm

Laying of one number PVC insulated and PVC sheathed / XLPE power cable of 5 KV grade of 6 sq. mm / 16 Sq. mm size in the existing RCC/ HUME/ METAL pipe as required.

Removing and re-installation, Testing, and Commissioning of elevated type MIRL fittings on the existing transformer housing boxes including installation of Isolating transformer, lens, lamps, laying of secondary lead in pipe and other accessories, alignment, leveling and making transformer connections, earth connections etc complete as required.

Supply of 5 KV grade plug and receptacle of type - I Class B connector and suitable for field attachment with 5 KV grade PVC insulated, PVC sheathed single core 16 sq. mm copper conductor cable conforming to technical specifications etc complete as required.

Making field connections by crimping 6 sq.mm / 16 sq. mm plug and receptacle with existing 6 sq.mm / 16 Sq. mm single core PVC copper conductor cable including filling the gap with water sealant material and applying PVC insulated tape etc. complete as required.

Supply and laying of following size copper conductor two pin secondary leads suitable for airfield lighting system and conforming to technical specifications etc. complete as required. (a) 2 X 4.0 Sqmm & 10 meter long

Earthing with G.I. earth pipe 4.5 meter long, 40 mm dia including accessories, and providing masonry enclosure with cover plate having locking arrangement and watering pipe etc. with charcoal/ coke and salt as required.

Providing and fixing 6 SWG dia G.l. wire on surface or in recess for loop earthing along with existing surface/ recessed conduit/ submain wiring/ cable as required.
