Excavation in trenches in any type of soil not exceeding 1.5 metre deep and not exceeding 1.5 mtr width and getting out soil including forming bottom surface to required slope/gradient for laying cables/pipes etc. including removing cable protection covers/ bricks complete all as specified and directed. Notes : (i) Excavation shall be made carefully in order to avoid damage of existing cables and brick protection. (ii) The excavation work may be carried out in short lengths for locating fault in under ground cables at different locations

M&L for Returning, filling in, including spreading leveling, watering and well ramming the excavated soil in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Removal of surplus excavated soil to a distance not exceeding 50 Mtr distance and depositing as directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 mtr above starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Material & labour for sand filling with clean dry fine sand unwashed including gently punning around cables in trenches/ducts for cable protection complete all as specified and directed .

M&L for old size sub class `B` bricks, kiln burnt, as in cable protection laid flat with axis of brick perpendicular to the axis of the cable complete all as specified and directed .

Fixing / laying only old bricks as in cable protection laid flat with axis of brick perpendicular to the axis of the cable complete all as specified and directed . Note :- Old Bricks retrived under item No.01 herein above shall be reused.

Dismantling & taking out out old existing unserviceable/ corroded GI tubing of any description and in any position and Supplying, laying & jointing GI water tubing, 80 mm bore, light grade as in sleeving etc laid in trenches / ducts/pole post etc complete all as specified and directed .

Dismantling & taking out unserviceable steel & iron items from poles i.e cross arms, bracing, supports, clamps and back plates etc. including nuts & bolts complete and Supply & fixing cross arms, bracing, supports, clamps and back plates fabricated from structural steel sections including nuts & bolts , washers , welding bending cold or hot , drilling holes for bolts in any shape or size as indicated or directed and inclusive of two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and directed.

Disconnecting and taking out old existing unserviceable/ non- functional LT Cable of size 185 Sqmm 3½ core of any description and in any position from trench/duct/pipe etc complete and Supplying, laying, jointing & testing XLPE insulated PVC sheathed (heavy duty) armoured cable with aluminium conductor for working voltage upto 1100 volts having cross sectional area 185 Sqmm 3½ core conforming to IS 7098 Part-I or IS 1554 Part-I. complete all as specified and directed. NOTE:-(Earth work, sand cushioning,pipe clamps for holding cablesand brick protection shall be measured and paid seperately under respective item of sch A )

Dismantling & taking out of old existing unserviceable insulators of any description and in any position from LT poles and Supply & fixing pin type porcelain, vitreous, white, brown or green insulators,for working pressure 1100 volts of size 100 mm height and 65 mm dia including one galvanized mild steel spindle two galvanised iron washers and one galvanised iron nut, etc complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling & taking out of old existing unserviceable insulators of any description and in any position from LT poles Supply & fixing shackle type porcelain, vitreous, white, brown or green insulators,for working pressure 1100 volts of size 115 mm dia and 100 mm height including galvanized mild steel strips of 31x3 mm size, 14 mm dia, insulator bolts, washers and nuts complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling & taking down of existing worn out / unserviceable aluminium conductor, steel reinforced (ACSR) of any description /size & in any position from existing LT Poles/Lines and supply and fixing of aluminium conductor, steel reinforced (ACSR) of any size/description on LT poles/lines including stringing, tightening, binding to insulators with aluminium wire making and connecting jumpers, connections etc including connecting, commissioning and testing complete all as specified & directed .

Dismantling & taking out burnt/faulty normal type indication lamp from panel box and supplying, fixing, testing and commissioning indication lamp (LED type) with showing red, yellow and green in colour, of 22.5 mm dia monitor on LT panel board suitable for 240 V AC supply including necessary control wiring connected complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Opening /disconnecting ACSR conductor of any size from poles or distribution span after opening of binding from insulator etc and Rebinding after tightening / restringing of ACSR/AAC/LT over head conductors of any size with and including aluminium binding wire in original position and connecting jumpers connections etc and testing complete all as specified & directed . Material and labour for cleaning and preparation of all existing steel surfaces of straight steel tubular poles 9 mtrs long for painting including mild steel cross arms, clamps and street light brackets,protection pipe, MS boxes etc and applying one coat of aluminium paint all round the exposed steel surfaces of existing steel tubular poles of any description and in any position above the height of 1.50 mtr from the plinth of the pole and applying one coat of synthetic enameled paint of different colours in strips of 150mm width upto the height 1.5 mtr from the plinth of pole including writing pole No and other sign works with white paint over black painted base in the pattern and style as approved by the Engineer-in-Charge complete all as specified & directed.Note : Size of black painted base for numbering shall be 100mmx25mm and the size of numbers shall be not exceeding 10cm height.

(ii) The quoted rate is inclusive of the cost of danger notice plate of suitable size and marking of letters with PVC sheet/ Stickers such as incoming and outgoing and capacity of breakers etc. (iv) The cost of fixing of the panel on suitable PCC (1:3:6) type C-1(using 20 mm graded black trap/basalt/granite stone aggregates) foundation as directed by Engineer-in-Charge is deemed to be included in the quoted rates by the contractor for the above item. (v) The bottom of panel shall have minimum 45cm height from existing ground / floor level.

S& F in replacement of UNSV lugs after cutting the worn out /faulty cable end from LT pillar/panel box including necessary earth work for taking out the cable from loop retuning, filling & making cable lead by providing Aluminium lugs lead including crimping with crimping tools in the existing LT cable including necessary connection complete etc, all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
