REPAIR AND CLEANING OF SEWAGE LINES MANHOLES SEPTIC TANKS ETC AND OTHER MISC WORK TO ALL MD/OTM ACCN AT CHAUBATTIA UNDER GE RANIKHET

BOQ ( Sch 'A') B/R items Cleaning/removing blockage of urinal, bath or kitchen, gully trap, wash basin, floor trap, Indian WC/EWC including cleaning floor trap and removing blockage of pipes upto 1st manholes including necessary T&P required and finally washing with clean water & disposing of sludge/waste in covered tank outside defence land complete all as specified and directed. NOTE:- The contractor or his authorised rep shall attend day to day compllaints related to sewage and drainage woriks during working hours at 9AM and shall report back at every evening at 5PM on daily basis after satisfactory completion of work. Rs 125/- per complaint shall be recovered from the contractor on account of non attending of any complaint (each complaint) within 48 hours.

Taking off existing manholes covers & cleaning of manholes (any size / depth) by de-watering and taking off the rubbish / sludge etc., removing the same upto 50 m distance and put into and including necessary excavation and earth work in any type of soil for newly excavated pits of suitable size and covering with excavated earth finally cleaning with fresh water and placing back in position the removed covers complete all as specified and directed. Notes :- 1. The excavation and earth work of pit in any type of soil is deemed to be included in the unit rate of this item. 2. No extra payment shall be made for de-watering which shall deemed to be included in unit rate of this item. Net quantity of sludge as removed shall only be measured and paid. Necessary T&P, eqpts and safety wears/measures shall be provided by the contractor without any extra cost to Govt. 3. Cleaning of chocked/blocked sewage lines (SGSW/RCC/CI PIPES) 150mm/200mm bore dia, taking out loose sedimented sand, dirt, oil, grease, sludge water, rags, fibers or vegitation etc. systematically using necessary tools mechanically and/or manually such as by rodding, passing rope knots, bamboo fanti and disc of required size (with safety measure such as dirt and gas etc), flushing the pipe well with water till clear flow of sewage from both side between two adjacent manhole of any depth from both side sludge in semi liquid stage including all water effluence etc and removing all materials from site of work upto a distance not exceeding 250m and depositing in earth pit of suitable size with and including necessary excavation and earth work in any type of soil including supply and sprinkling bleaching powder and covering sludge with earth after removal of blockage etc complete all as speicified and directed. Taking off existing covers of septic tank & cleaning the same of any size / capacity by dewatering and taking out sludge in liquid, mud, silt or in solid state after emptying the waste water by manual or by mechanical means and removing the sludge to a distance not exceeding 50 m and burying the sludge in newly excavated pits of suitable sizes with and including necessary excavation and earth work in any type of soil and covering the same with excavated earth and placing back in position the removed covers complete all as specified and directed. Notes :- 1. The excavation and earth work of pit in any type of soil is deemed to be included in the unit rate of this item. 2. Excavating in trenches in soft/loose soil, n exc 1.5 m wide and n exc 1.5 m in depth; for foundation, etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc. n exc 10 sq m on plan and n exc 1.5 m in depth and getting out complete all as specified & directed by Engr-in-charge.

Returning filling in including spreading leveling watering and well ramming in layers n.exc 25cm thick complete all as specified & directed by Engr-in-charge.

Removing excavated material n exc. 50m and depositing where directed at a level n exc. 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified & directed by Engr-in-charge.

Demolition and breaking up 150 mm dia bore salt glazed stoneware drain pipe including PCC packing under haunching against the sides of pipe bed and complete PCC of bed and removal of debris to a distance exc 1.0 Km but n.exc 2.0 Km all specified and directed.

M&L for PCC 1:4:8 type D-2 (using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in bedding including haunching & packing under and against the side of reinforced concrete pipes, class NP2,150 mm bore, after they are laid and tested complete all as specified & directed by Engr-in-charge.

S&F PVC (SWR) pipes 150 mm dia single socketed, in any length with rubber ring joints, laid in trenches jointed in CM (1:1) complete all as specified and as directed
