M & L for Construction of Valve Chamber of size 1200 X 1200 X 1200 mm internal size suitable for Sluice Valve, with PCC 1:4:8, Type D2, using 40mm graded aggregate for foundation, 200 mm thick Brickwork with Fly Ash Bricks in Cement Mortar 1:6, 40 mm thick PCC, 1:2:4, Type B1, using 20mm graded aggregate Coping, rendering in CM 1:4, 15 mm thick including provision of Mild Steel Sheet Cover 3 mm thick with 40 X 40 X 6 mm size Angle Iron frame work embedded in concrete with suitable hinges and locking arrangements including two coat of synthetic enamel black paint over a coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer to steel surfaces and including necessary earth work excavation in any type of soil etc., removal of surplus soil off the premises, demolition of existing Valve Chamber of any description complete all as specified and shown on drawing CEDD / TD / 119, Sheet No. 1 / 1 dated 20 August 1983, revised up to 21 September 1992.

S & F Cast Iron Non Return Valve [Swing Check type Multidoor Reflux Valve] with bypass arrangement with suitable flanges, suitable for 200 mm bore pipes confirming to IS – 5312, Class PN –1.6, including necessary nuts, bolts, washers, rubber gasket etc. for jointing, suitable to handle clear water having turbidity up to 5000 PPM complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for cutting existing road/PCC hard standing for laying of pipe and including necessary earth work and making good the surface with PCC 1:3:6, Type C-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate complete all as specified and as directed.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5m wide and not exceeding 10 Sq.m on plan area and not exceeding 1.5m deep in hard / dense soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm thick of excavated soil complete all as specified and as directed. Note: A deduction of 10% shall be made from total computed volume of filling to cater in bulk irrespective of machinery used for ramming.

Removal of excavated material [Soil] to a distance not exceeding 50 m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

Note for Serial Item No. 1 to 23 : The work shall be carried out up to G+9 Storey and the rates quoted are deemed to be including providing double scaffolding and safety measures as required and removal of the same on completion complete all as specified and as directed. Nothing shall be paid extra on this account.
