Provision of AB Switch and allied works at 33 KV HT Yard at Visakhapatnam Airport

Supply of 13 metres long MS pole suitable for erection of 33 KV HT AB Switch. Each pole made of 1 No IS beam of size 150 mm x 150 mm by combining two nos ISMC of Size 150 mm x 75 mm minimum weight as per IS by welding and bottom MS base plate of size 450mm x 450mm x 10 mm thick duly welded to the pole and painting the pole with two coats of approved quality primer to the full length and two coats of approved quality aluminium paint to the portion above ground and two coats of bituminous black paint to the portion below ground level complete etc. as required.

Erection of metallic pole upto a length of 13 meter in cement concrete 1:1½:3 (1 Cement: 1½ coarse sand : 3 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size) foundation including excavation and refilling etc. upto depth of 2 Metre as required.

Supply & erection of IMSC of size 75mm x 40mm weight as per IS to fix AB Switch / LAS/HG Fuse complete with bolt and nuts for clamping to the pole with suitable M.S. flats including drilling holes for fixing the insulator pins with bolts and nuts etc, and with one coat of primer (Red Oxide) two coats of synthetic Enamial Paint of approved brand and manufacturer of required colour complete etc as required.

Supply and erection of 33 KV pin insulator complete with large steel head G.I. pin, nuts, washers complete etc. as required.

Supply and erection of 33 KV disc insulator complete with G.I. pin, nuts, washers complete etc. as required.)

Supply and erection of lightning arrestor suitable for 3 wire, 33 KV overhead lines with rated voltage 30 KV with a nominal discharge current rating of 10 KA and complete with galvanised clamping arrangement, G.I. bolts, nuts, washers complete etc. as required.

Supplying and fixing of triple pole 33 KV, 800 Amps Horizantal swing type, out door, horizontal pole mounting, gang operated Air break switch. Each pole on hot dipped galvanized channel iron base consisting of three sets of 33 KV post type HT pin insulator having fixed contact and movable contact spring loaded capable of breaking magnetizing current complete with arrangement for terminal connections, phase coupling square rod connecting, angle lever, medium class 50 mm dia GI pipe operating down rod of adequate length for operating the mechanism from ground level and insulated operating handle complete with pad-locking arrangement in both "ON"and"OFF" positions etc. complete with GI bolts, nuts, washers complete etc. as required. (MS parts shall be of Hot dipped galvanised )

Supplying and fixing of medium class 50 mm dia GI pipe operating down rod of adequate length for operating the mechanism from ground level and insulated operating handle complete with pad-locking arrangement in both "ON"and"OFF" positions etc. complete with GI bolts, nuts, washers complete etc. as required.

Providing jumper connections to the four pole structure between insulators, AB switch, dropout fuses, UG cable etc. with 100 sq.mm ACSR conductor interconnections complete etc as required.

Earthing with G.I. earth plate 600 mm x 600 mm x 6 mm thick including accessories, and providing masonry enclosure with cover plate having locking arrangement and watering pipe of 2.7 meter long etc., with charcoal / coke and salt as required.

Providing and fixing 25 mm X 5 mm GI strip on surface or in recess for connections etc. as required.

Supplying and laying 25 mm X 5 mm G.I strip at 0.50 metre below ground as strip earth electrode, including connection/ terminating with G.I. nut, bolt, spring, washer etc. as required. (Jointing shall be done by overlapping and with 2 sets of G.I. nut bolt & spring washer spaced at 50mm)

Earthing with Copper Earth plate 600 mm X 600 mm X 3 mm thick including accessories, and providing masonry enclosure with cover plate having locking arrangement and watering pipe of 2.7 metre long etc. with charcoal/ coke and salt as required.

Providing and fixing 25 mm X 5 mm CU strip on surface or in recess for connections etc. as required.

Supplying and laying 25 mm X 5 mm copper strip at 0.50 metre below ground as strip earth electrode, including connection/ terminating with nut, bolt, spring, washer etc. as required. (Jointing shall be done by overlapping and with 2 sets of brass nut bolt & spring washer spaced at 50mm)

Providing and fixing angle iron frame of size 65mm x 65mm x 6mm assmebled at site to fix the required chain link fencing. All the vertical members of frame shall be fixed in cement concrete foundation including excavation and refilling etc. upto depth of one Metre and finishing with one coat of primer two coats of synthetic Enamial Paint of approved brand and manufacture of required colour complete etc as required.

Providing and fixing Pre-fabricated gate for transformer yard consisting of two leaves of size 2.1 metre (height) x 1.25 metre (width) (total width 2.5 metre) fabricated out of angle iron frame work with 65mm x 65mm x 6mm angle iron equally spaced across the height of the gate, including welding the two frames on both sides to a channel iron support made of each 3 metre long MS channel of of designation ISMC 100 X 50 weight as per IS using a suitable suspension arrangement heavy duty hinges providing locking arrangement erection of the vertical support in existing trench in such way as to ensure proper allignment including with one coat of primer and two coats of synthetic Enamial Paint of approved brand and manufacture of required colour complete etc as required. (2 nos gate to be provided)

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level : 1:1½:3 (1 Cement: 1½ coarse sand (zone-III) derived from natural sources : 3 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size derived from natural sources)

Providing and fixing chain link mesh made of 10 SWG GI wire with 50mm x 50mm mesh size welded to angle iron frame work etc,complete as required.

Removal of existing 40 mm metal stone (Aprox. 30 CUM) from 33 KV HT yard and levelling of entire switch yard area including excavation of soil earth and refilling the same after carrying out levelling work complete etc as required.

Supply and spreading quarry dust of approved quality (granite dust) for a depth of about 200 mm inside 33 KV HT yard complete etc as required.

Supply and spreading stone aggregate of 40mm nominal size for a depth of 100 mm on levelled (quarry dust laid under item above) inside 33 KV HT yard complete etc as required.

Brick work with common burnt clay F.P.S. (non modular) bricks of class designation 7.5 in foundation and plinth in: Cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand)

Demolishing brick work manually/ by mechanical means including stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. In cement mortar

Demolishing of existing MS angle (35 Nos) laid in ground with cement concrete foundation of total height 3 mtr including demolishing of chain link fencing (Aprox. 200 sq.mtr) manually/ by mechanical means including stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Painting on existing MS structure with one coat of primer (Red Oxide) two coats of synthetic Enamial Paint of approved brand and manufacture of required colour complete etc as required.
