Boring for cast-in-situ bored piles of 600mm dia to any depth through any type of soil/strata by DMC method using bentonite slurry including removal of bored materials to place outside MD land all as specified and as directed Note:-The rate shall include mobilisation,erection,dismantling and demobilisation of equipment for pile boring including all labours and material. Nothing extra shall be payable for mobilisation of equipment seperately.

Providing TMT bars (CRS/HCRM/CRM) in reinforcement 5mm dia and over up to and including 16mm dia confirming to IS-1786 as in Helical/stirups for pile cut to length, bend to required shape, cranking/hooking ends if necessary and binding with 0.9mm dia MS wire annealed or welding so as to secure the bar firmly in position/required shape complete all as specified and shown on drgs.

Providing TMT bars (CRS/HCRM/CRM) in reinforcement 5mm dia and over up to and including 12mm dia as in stirups for pile caps and grade beams including cut to length, bend to required shape, cranking/hooking ends if necessary and binding with 0.9mm dia MS wire annealed or welding so as to secure the bar firmly in position/required shape complete all as specified and shown on drgs.

PCC (1:4:8) type D2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate for concrete layer below pile caps/grade beams and foundation complete all as specified and shown on drgs.

Providing testing equipment & load and testing of 600mm dia bored pile (Initial Load test) all as per IS including removing the testing equipments from site after testing is completed all as specified and directed.

Providing testing equipment & load and testing of 500mm dia bored pile (Initial Load test) all as per IS including removing the testing equipments from site after testing is completed all as specified and directed.

Providing testing equipment & load and testing of 600mm dia pile (Routine Load test) all as per IS including removing the testing equipments from site after testing is completed all as specified and directed.

Conducting standard penetration test all as per IS-2131 at levels and locations as directed for 600mm dia and 500mm dia cast in situ bored piles all as specified and as directed.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5m wide and not exceeding 1.5m deep or area not exceeding 10 sqm on plan in soft/loose soil including bailing out/pumping out water on account of spring/rain or any other causes using any method as required and as directed by Engr-in-Charge for pile caps/plinth beams,raft foundation etc all as specified and shown on drawings.

Returning filling in around pile cap, plinth beams, raft foundation etc using excavated soil including spreading levelling and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm thick all as specified and directed.

Removal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50m deposited whereever dircted at a level not exc 1.5 m above starting point .

PCC (1:4:8) type D2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate for concrete layer below pile caps/grade beams and foundation complete all as specified and shown on drgs.

INTERNAL POWER SUPPLY:- Submain wiring using single core PVC insulated, FRLS grade, ISI marked, 1100 volts grade unsheathed multistranded copper conductor cable 4 runs of size 6.0Sqmm drawn in and including PVC rigid concealed conduit medium grade of dia not less than 25 mm with conduit accessories including 02 runs of single core PVC insulated, FRLS grade, unsheathed multistranded copper conductor cable of size 6.0Sqmm as earth continuity conductor Note : 06 runs of 6.00 Sqmm cable and 01 run of PVC conduit shall be measured as one unit for payment purpose.

Submain wiring using single core PVC insulated, FRLS grade, ISI marked, 1100 volts grade unsheathed multistranded copper conductor cable 4 runs of size 4.0Sqmm drawn in and including PVC rigid concealed conduit medium grade of dia not less than 25 mm with conduit accessories including 02 runs of single core PVC insulated, FRLS grade, unsheathed multistranded copper conductor cable of size 4.0Sqmm as earth continuity conductor Note : 06 runs of 4.00 Sqmm cable and 01 run of PVC conduit shall be measured as one unit for payment purpose.

Central Air Conditioning:- Water cooled chilled water air conditioning plant of capacity 64 TR (minimum) (2x32 TR working) i.e two chiller units of 50% full load capacity complete with all equipments to meet the inside design condition of temperature 24°C ± 2°C and Relative Humidity 55% ± 5% (as per user data sheet) complete with AHU, cooling tower, electrical control panel, condenser pump sets, chiller pump sets with suitable GI pipe lines, cables, ducting, dampers etc for the work centres as per building drawing complete all as specified and as directed. Make:- Blue star/Carrier/Daiken. Note:- (i) Before commencement of work, the contractor shall obtain design details from OEM and submit the same for the same for the approval of accepting officer, duly supported with all relevant specifications of each components of AC plant, line diagram, duct layout plan & heat load calculation etc. (ii) The tenderer should visit the site and work out heat load based on the building plan, structural specifications, outside/inside parameters equipment load (in consultation with users) and design parameters (as given in the tender), The plant capacity shall be increased if required to achieve the above condition without any extra cost, for smooth operation. (iii The tenderer shall be responsible for the plant to achieve the design conditions on any day of the year irrespective of the full load capacity given in the schedule, and technical parameters which are given on not less than basis.

The AC plant and other accessories shall be commissioned by the original OEM. The configuration of plant capacity shall be based on manufactures design but it shall be of 2 units each capable of meeting 50% of full load capacity so as to meet full load working together at a time. The contractor shall submit a certificate from the OEM confirming that the entire AC plant work shall be got installed through them/ their accredited agencies duly incorporating their recommended make.The tenderer should visit the site and check the site conditions before quoting the tender so as to incorporate any changes needed to install the plant in the location and rate quoted shall be included in the quote. First charge of refrigerant, compressor oil, lubricants etc. and maintaining it at desired level even when leakage occurs during defect liability period is deemed to be the responsibility of the tender. (iii) Two units each capable of meeting 50% of full load capacity so as to meet the full load working together at a time. Multi scroll compressor with combination of inverter & fixed speed compressors, water cooler scroll chiller with shell & tube condenser & evaporator along with independent refrigeration circuits including all accessories like microprocessor advanced controller, Thermostatic expansion valves mounted on a single skid as per OEM specifications. The rate shall include RCC foundation for mounting, vibration isolators, nuts, bolts and all necessaries accessories as per OEM recommendation.

The COP of the chiller shall be more than 4.1 COP @ 100% load & IPLV shall be more than 6 COP @ AHRI conditions. The rate shall also include control panel, power cables, communication cables, gas charging with Eco friendly refrigerant. One set shell and tube water cooled scroll chiller units suitably insulated having shell and plain copper tubes all as specified and as per manufacturer’s design. (iv) MS stand of suitable size and shape fabricated out of channel and angle iron of suitable size duly painted with two coats of black synthetic enamel paint over one coat of red oxide primer for mounting compressor, motor, condenser, chiller and control panels etc of above specification. One set of anti-vibration mounting pads of thickness not less than 25 mm and suitable foundation as per manufacturers instruction including necessary foundation, bolts & nuts etc. Refrigerant piping complete with all required fittings and accessories such as thermosetting expansion valve, refrigerant drier with isolating valves, pilot operated solenoid valves etc. with necessary bracket and support to interconnect compressor, chiller, condenser and expansion valves including insulation of suction lines and chiller lines with fire resistant insulting material of adequate thickness all as per manufacturers specifications.

Commercial Air curtain unit suitable for door opening 70" x 78" including air curtain sensor for prevention of dust and conditioned air losses, single phase, 220 V, 50 HZ, made out of MS/CRCA sheet of minimum thickness 18 gauge finished with two coats of red oxide primer and final coat of synthetic enamel paint (oven baked) with MS - CRC 18 gauge square perforated suction grills, Aluminium alloy fans and single phase electric motor, nozzles etc, complete with fittings and accessories so as to produce 1 - 1.5 m/sec air velocity at floor level for door opening as specified.

Acoustic Enclosure :- Acoustic enclosure shall be powder coated and fabricated as per CPCB-II norms as amended upto date, sound level 75 dB (A) at 1 mtr from enclosure in free field conditions as per ISO 8528 AMF Panel :- The micro processor based AMF panel shall be with AMF controller suitable to start the engine on main failure after 10-15 second time delay and to switch off engine only after 60-90 seconds after the main supply restored. The AMF controller shall have under/ over voltage, over load protection, coolant temp cut off, fuel control upto 10% tank capacity. The panel shall also have one change over switch and switch gears of suitable capacity to bypass main supply when the AMF control become defective.

Note :- The following are included in the scope of work :- (a) The panel will be complete with internal wiring with suitable size of multi stranded copper cable. The suitable control of AMF panel with all meters, control wires. (b) Tools as supplied by the manufacturer (c) Fuel tank shall be provided inside canopy (d) thermostat switch inside the acoustic enclosure shall be provided to shut off the DG set incase of temperature increases beyond its rated temperature inside the acoustic enclosure (e) there shall be proper air circulation and windows with glass in the acoustic enclosure suitably located to read the meters of various controls from outside (f) Necessary grouting including mild steel work and anti vibration pad shall be provided (g) necessary foundation of installation and plinth protection of the DG set shall be provided as per manufactuers recommendation (h) necessary 10% overload test shall be carried out in the presence of testing officer nominated by Accepting Officer. (j) Shifting of DG set from showroom/factory to the site by means of truck/crane is the responsibility of the contractor.

COMPREHENSIVE AMC & OUTSOURCING OF AC PLANTS- THIRD YEAR AFTER COMPLETION:- Comprehensive AMC for A/C plant chiller type complete minimum of capacity 2 x 32 TR including all maint routine checkups as recommended by OEM & break down attending maintenance as and when required as intimated by Engineer-in-charge at site with complete spares through OEM/ authorised service dealer of OEM for the complete machineries/ equipments/ accessories installed at Avionics Bldg at NAY (K), Naval Base for the smooth functioning of A/C plant for third year after completion of work (ie, after the expiry of two year defect liability period). Note:- All defective spares of compressors, chiller unit, condenser, pumps & motor, cooling tower, measuring meters/ gauges (temperature/ pressure/ humidity), electric panel of AC plant, AHU motor, air blower, etc and routine replacement, spares like filters, lubricants, oil etc and including replacement of entire item if found necessary to make functional of plant shall be done by the contractor during the comprehensive maintenance period with the rate quoted in the item.

Outsourcing operation of A/C plant for the third year after completion of work of minimum capacity 2 x 32 TR (64 TR) chiller plant with AHU- 2 Nos and all other A/C plant equipments and machineries complete at Avionics Bldg at NAY (K), Naval Base operation for 8 hrs per day, duty timings as directed by Engineer-in-charge on all working days except sundays and holidays in a month with trained technicians with minimum National Trade Certificate in Air Conditioning Trade Complete.

Note for item No. 150,151,153,155 & 157:- The rates quoted is deemed to include expenses towards daily checkups at plant and equipments, including cleaning the equipment, equipment room, operation of the plant, taking reading at regular intervals as directed by Engineer-in-charge and recording the same in log book. All operators shall be provided with uniform, tools and protective safety gears and cost is included in the rate quoted in BoQ items. All cleaning materials like cotton waste, water, soap, chemicals, etc and all stationary items like log books, attendance register, pen, paper, etc shall be included in the quoted rate and nothing extra shall be paid for the same. The operators shall be available over telephone/ mobile phone at any time and charges towards maintaining the same is also deemed to be included in the quoted rates. Note: General:- Cost of AMC for 1st & 2nd year shall be included in the rate quoted in BoQ item No. 98 and it has to be done free of cost by the contractor under defect liability period.
