Tenders from Joint ventures are not acceptable.

Bidders shall not be under a declaration of ineligibility for corrupt and fraudulent practices issued by Government of Karnataka

The bidder is required to ensure browser compatibility of the computer well in advance to the last date and time for receipt of tenders. The departments shall not be responsible for non-accessibility of KPPP portal due to internet connectivity issues and technical glitches at bidders end.

It shall be the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure credit of Tender Processing Fee and EMD into the respective receiving bank accounts of e-Procurement on or before the last date and time of bid submission.

EMD Payments through e-Payment mode shall be made as one single transaction and payments made in part are liable for rejection.

The contractor should be registered in respective class Category of KPWD

The TENDER PROCEESING FEE will not be refunded

Conditional tenders will be rejected.

Bidder shall pay Contract Management Module processing fees of 0.025% of the contact value (Min Rs.500/- & Max Rs.7500/-) soon after contract has been issued to bidder.

The tenderer shall bear all costs associated with the preparation and submission of his tender and the employer will in no case be responsible and liable for those costs.

The tender processing fee will neither be refunded nor will be transferred to other works.

The CNNL reserves the right of rejecting any or all of the tenders without assigning any reason and will not be bound to accept the lowest tender.

Applicable GST will be paid separately & GST will be deducted as per the prevailing Govt Orders from time to time & Royalty on construction materials and other taxes will be deducted as per prevailing Government orders.

The rates quoted by the contractor must be inclusive of all Taxes, etc., (excluding GST). The contractor is also required to pay quarry Fees, Royalties, Octroi Dues levied by the state Government or any Local body or an authority and ground rent, if any, charged by the Executive Engineer for stacking materials. No Extra Payment on this account will be made to the contractor.

The intending Bidder/firm/company shall provide the audited balance sheets or other financial statements acceptable to the employer for the last five years (2021-22 to 2025-26).

One percent (1%) of the bill amount of the successful tenderer will be deducted towards the construction labour welfare fund as per Government Order LD / 300 / LET / 2006 Bangalore dated 01-01-2007 and Government letter No. PW / 134 / BMS / 2007 dated 27-07-2007.

All scanned documents to be uploaded shall be in original and the executive Engineer reserves the right to verify the documents before approval.

The work includes all lead and lift and work shall be carried out as per the instructions of the Engineer-in-Charge of the work. The rates in the schedule-B include all lead and lift irrespective of distance and height. No extra charges will be paid for additional lead and lift.

If Nigama wishes to engage third party inspecting agency for the said work, apart from the Quality Control authorities and field tests of the Nigama and Contractor, then the contractor should co-operate with the third party test and Quality Control authorities.

In addition to the above, all the conditions, as stipulated in the bid document uploaded should be followed.

The defect liability period for this work is as indicated in tender document

Sub leasing/ GPA of work prohibited

Department is not responsible for Typological error.

The successful bidder whose tender is approved, should fulfill all the conditions stipulated in tender document and enter into agreement with Nigama in stipulated time.

The intending contractors are requested to note that they should abide by the detailed instructions and conditions contained in the Standard Tender documents pertaining to this work

The contractors assessed available tender capacity will be calculated as per the clause 3.1 of STD tender document Attached

Equipments like Hydraulic Excavators, required for the work shall be procured by the tenderer themselves and should got tested by the quality control authority before use on the work at their own cost.

Further details and information, if any, required can be had from the Office of the Executive Engineer, D & I Division, CNNL, Bannur, Karnataka, on all working days during office hours

The work is randomized and reserved for bidders belonging to Category - II (A) as per GO No FD 566 Exp-12/2023 Bengaluru dt: 04.09.2023 for the works costing upto Rs 100.00 Lakhs. The bidders should scan and upload the Caste certificate while bidding for the work. (Bids without the Caste certificate will be rejected)

The Bidder belonging to the reserved category shall be domicile of the State of Karnataka for more than 10 years. (Relevant documents to be uploaded at the time of bidding. (Bids without the relevant documents will be rejected)

Bidders participating and belonging to Category - II (A) shall furnish valid caste certificate issued by the jurisdictional Thasildar to claim reservation, otherwise tender is liable to be rejected
