Provision of Arboriculture Landscaping from NISC to North Gate GTC at INS Dega, Visakhapatnam

Phase - I: Schedule "A" Part - I [Arboriculture]:

Surface dressing not exceeding 15 cm deep and getting out in Soft / Loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for Continuous brick edging with width equal to the depth of the brick, laid dry on end at the required angle complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply, plantation and developing of Ficus Black [Ficus Benjamina] [height of plant not less than 1.00m above ground level and of age 6 Months] with proportional girth, evergreen species including preparation of ground up to 0.60m deep and of size 600 X 600mm and filling of Good Earth [Without Moorum content] and having suitable pH and EC as recommended for Saline Water conditions [3 Parts], Manure such as Cow Dung, Vermi-Compost, Polydol Dust Neem Cake and Organic Manure etc. [1 Part] and watering etc. complete all as specified and as directed. Note: [a] Good Earth shall be well sieved to pass 90% through IS sieve of 10mm size, free from stone rubbish like lumps, stones and other foreign materials suitable for gardening. The soil shall be fresh from quarry. The colour of soil generally be red and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. [b] Manure shall be well decayed, well dried, well powdered, without clabs and free from stones, dried grass and rubbish materials. The colour of manure shall be black and shall be screened at site using IS designation 4.75 Sieve. [c] Rate quoted is deemed to be including the cost of Removal of excavated material [Soil] to a distance exceeding 250m and not exceeding 500 m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 m complete all as specified and as directed.

Phase - II: Schedule "A" Part – II: [Maintenance of Arboriculture Works during Defect Liability Period of work under Phase – I i.e. 24 Months]:

Maintenance of Arboriculture / Plants / Grass as provided under Serial Item No. 3 of BoQ by weeding, hosing, saucer melding once in every 15 days, planting new Plants / Grass in place of dead Plants / Grass of same species and height with out any extra cost to the department and as directed complete during Defect Liability Period complete all as specified and as directed. Note: Rate quoted shall be deemed to include for all labour, materials, tools & plants and regular watering, using sprinklers, including supply and spreading / spraying organic manure, chemical fertilisers, pesticides to the required extent complete all as specified.
