CONSULTANCY FOR CONDITION ASSESSMENT OF STRENGTH OF STRUCTURES AT NAVAL DOCKYARD VISAKHAPATNAM UNDER GE(I) DM VISAKHAPATNAM

Visual inspection and condition survey shall be done for the condition of all concrete or steel structural members and non-structural members, indentify the distress if any, record all data of current status, analyse the data for each structure and give ratings to them based on the current status for indentifying the cause of distress wherever necessary and submit the report duly vetting by Andhara University/IIT or any Govt University with recommendations for interventions based on the category along with the structural stability certification for all structures. Note :- Payment will be made on actual built up area/floor area. Report should be submitted in Quadraplicate. Payment will be made post submitting of reports

Detailed inspection, distress mapping of all elements of structures, non destructive testing, analysis of data and submission of reports duly vetting by Andhra University/IIT or any Govt University for repair and strenghtening systems, methodologies alongwith specifications, bill of quantities for the structures. The tests to be done would be from the following list based on the on-site requirement :- (a) Rebound Hammer Test (b) Ultrasonic Pulse Velocity Test (c) Half cell Potential (d) Carbonization Depth (e) Core Cutting TEst (If necessary) (f) Chemical Test (If necessary)

Note :- (i) Payment wil be made on actual built area/floor area. Report should be submitted in Quardraplicate. Payment will be made post submitting of reports. (ii) The above quoted items are to be executed with proper safety gears and necessary double scaffolding arrangements to carry out the inspection/ assessment works. Confidentiality : All drawings/ documents shall be kept confidential and no way are these to be disclosed to any other persons not.
