M&L for cleaning and racking out sealing compound from the existing Expansion joint of any length, 20mm to 30 mm wide and 25 mm deep by appropriate hand tools (chisel and hammer or "L" hook) including removing the existing sealing compound from the edges with knife or any other means such as chisel, hammer and grinding or other tools without damaging the edges and side of the joints and removing the loose particles using wire brush and hot compressed air and priming the sides and making the surface bitumen free as per the maufacturers instructions, provision of 30 to 35mm thick de-bonding strip at bottom of joints and sealed the joints with pitch free gray polyurethane sealent confirming to BS-5215 (type -FB) and minimum depth of the sealant above debonding strip shall be 10-15 mm and applying the masking tap on edge of joint to prevent accidental spillage of sealant and removing the masking tape after sealant is applied complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for cleaning and racking out sealing compound from the existing Construction/ Dummy joint of any length, 8 mm to 10 mm wide and 25 mm deep by appropriate hand tools (chisel and hammer or "L" hook) including removing the existing sealing compound from the edges with knife or any other means such as chisel, hammer and grinding or other tools without damaging the edges and side of the joints and removing the loose particles using wire brush and hot compressed air and priming the sides and making the surface bitumen free as per the maufacturers instructions, provision of 10 to 12 mm thick de-bonding strip at bottom of joints and sealed the joints with pitch free gray polyurethane sealent confirming to BS-5215 (type -FB) and minimum depth of the sealant above debonding strip shall be 10-12 mm and applying the masking tap on edges of joint to prevent accidental spillage of sealant and removing the masking tape after sealant is applied complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of cement concrete(unreinforced) of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for and removal of the same outsides MOD land complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for sand filling under floor or in foundation including watering, leveling and consolidation etc. complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for high density polythene film ( transparent colour) in single layer of 400 micron thickness of virgin quality (as per ASTM D-2103, IS-2508) laid with side and end overlapping not less than 300mm complete all as specified and directed. Note : (i) Sand layer shall be measured and paid separately under respective item of BOQ. (ii) Measurement shall be for net area. Quoted rate shall be deemed to include overlapping of polythene film.

M&L for pavement quality concrete (PQC) thickness upto 350mm with minimum flexural strength 45Kg/sqcm in field as per design mix (with maximum size of course aggregate upto 40mm, using minimum 425Kg/ Cum of cement including), non circular, virgin, synthetic, monofilament polyster fibres of length 12mm to 18mm, specific gravity 1.34 to 1.39, UV stable alkali resistant, equivalent diameter 15.40 micron, minimum melting temperature 250°C and minimum tensile strength 300 MPa be used upto 0.25% by wt of cement including formwork for laying in bays, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note :- (i) Construction joints, dummy (contraction joints and expansion joints) shall be measured and paid separately under respective items. (ii) Deduction shall be made in computing concrete quantity for expansion joints. (iii) Finishing coat shall be measured and paid separately. (iv) Polyester triangular fibers as secondly reinforcement shall be supplied and mixed which shall be deemed to be include in to quoted rate. (v) For the purpose of pricing this item, cement content shall be considered 425 Kg/Cum. Minus price adjustment @ Rs 6 per Kg shall be made to the quoted rates for the item 2.00 in case quantity of cement is less than 425 Kg/ Cum. However no plus price adjustment shall be made to the quoted rate if excess quantity of cement is used beyond 425 Kg/Cum. (vi) The cost of admixture required as per design mix shall deemed to be included in the quoted rates.

M&L for finishing surface of concrete pavement by brooming while concrete is green complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for forming 25mm thick Expansion joint filled with DURA board HD-100 (brand supreme or equivalent), applying bond breaker tape on top of filler board for complete width of joint, provision of closed cell polyurethane backup rod 30mm dia and sealed with pitch free polyurethane grey sealant (minimum depth of sealant above back up road shall be 12mm) conforming to BS-5112 (Type FB), priming the slides and applying masking tape on edge of joint to prevent accidental spillage of sealant on top surfaces and to give a neat finish to the sealant and removing the masking tape after sealant is applied complete all as specified and directed.

M&L forming contraction (dummy) joint 85mm deep, 10 mm wide (using diamond cutter) and filled with expended polyurethane foam ( Armour Board), applying bond beaker tape on top of armour board for complete width of joint, provision of closed cell polyethylene back up rod 12 mm dia and sealed with 10mm (depth minimum above back up road) pitch free polyurethane grey sealant conforming to BS-5112 (Type FB), priming the sides and applying masking tape on edge of joint to prevent accidental spillage of sealant on top surfaces and to give a neat finish to the sealant and removing the masking tape after sealant is applied complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for forming Construction joint 25mm deep, 10mm wide (using diamond cutter) and sealed with polyurethane grey sealant conforming to BS-5112 (Type FB) and priming the sides, provision of closed cell polyurethane backup rod 12mm dia and applying masking tape on edge of joint to prevent accidental spillage of sealant on top surfaces and to give a neat finish to the sealant and removing the masking tape after sealant is applied complete all as specified and directed. Notes for Sr. Item No. 9.0 to 11.0 :- (i) The quoted rates include for any extra formwork if required to form joints. (ii) No deduction shall be made from cement concrete for contraction (dummy) joints and construction joints. Deduction shall however be made for expansion joints. (iii) Contractor shall submit Guarantee for sealant for minimum of 10 years supported with technical details directly from manufacturer.

M&L for cutting existing loose patches/spelled edges, widening of existing cracks of concrete pavement in true geometrical shapes to averge depth of 20 mm to 25 mm using diamond cutters operated with gen sets, cleaning the surface dry and free from dust/dirt with air compressor in order to achieve proper bond between elastomeric concrete and cement concrete surface and applying polyurethane based elastomeric concrete over a coat of approved primer as per manufacturer's instructions including supply and fixing masking tape on pavement surface to prevent accidental spillage of elastromeric concrete and removing the masking tape and cleaning the area of application after the application is over complete all as specified and directed.
