Replacement of ACC sheet and ACC North light curves to Galvalume sheet, replacement of damaged MS valley gutters and North light glass at bldg. No. 2108(CM godown) inside factory.

Cat (A) -Items to be supply and fixing

Dismantling or taking down of asbestos cement (corrugated, semicorrugated, etc.) sheets, north light curve etc in roof coverings as per direction of Engg-in-Charge and removing from the premises to a lead of 100mtr.

Taking down eaves or valley gutters and rainwater pipes (any size or pattern), including all fittings, heads, shoes, bends, swan-necks, etc. as per direction of Engg-in-Charge.

Hacking out old broken glass (any thickness, size, quality or description) from metal frame including punching or drilling out old glazing pins/spring clips and supply & fixing of rough cast wired glass, 6.4 mm thick and glazing with oil putty and pins/spring/clip in square (Exc 0.75 but n exc 1.00 sq m) as per the direction of E-in-C.

Demolotion of portions of brickwork or stone/boulder masonry, built in cement mortar or cement lime mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars, etc. but excluding ashlar facings, dressed stonework and precast concrete articles as per direction of Engg-in-Charge.

S & F of prepainted galvalume aluminium zinc coating GI based corrugated sheet 0.5 mm thick of an colour having tensile strength of 550 Mpa as in roof covering/ridge covering/clading to wall/ fixed with self tapping screws as specified as per direction of Engg-In-Charge

S & F of prepainted galvalume aluminium zinc coating GI based corrugated north light curve (Curved length 1000 mm) of 0.5 mm thick, any colour having tensile strength of 550 Mpa in foor covering as per direction of Engg-in-Charge.

M & L for brickwork with fly ash bricks, straight or curved on plan exc 6m mean radius built in cement mortar 1: 4 ( with modular bricks) includung curing etc. as per direction of Engg-In-Charge.

M & L for cement plaster (1: 4) 15 mm thick on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces includung curing etc. as per direction of Engg-In-Charge.

M & L for preparing surfaces plastered or unplastered new surfaces on wall and applying two coat of white wash as per direction of Engg-in-Charge .

S & F plain, galvanised, mild steel sheeting, of 1.00mm thick in ridges, hips, valley gutters, drip and straight flashings (length and girth as fixed) with grade of zinc coating 275 and welded or soldered joints as per site requirement and direction of Engg-in-Charge.

S & F of wind ties of MS flat (35mmX5mm)for roof including securing bolts,all necessary drilling, bolting or riveting, etc., and similar work conforming to Fe-290 Gde E-165

Removing/talking out existing lightining protection system consisting of 25 mm x 6 mm G I strip on the asbestos roof top from its fixing point by unscrewing nut, bolt arrangment as required in due care of reuse and re-fixing the same, the same in repair after the replacement of existing asbestos roof by new galvatume sheet, north light curve etc.

Cat (B) - Buy Back Items (ie minus)

The removed damaged GI Gutter with all fittings etc is to be credited to the contractor.

The removed damaged ACC sheet, north light curve etc with 'J' bolts, nuts etc. are to be credited to the contractor.
