Excavation in foundation and trenches (For pipes and pits) up to all depths and in all classification of each work such as pick work, jumper work, saturated soil including bailing or pumping out of water, blasting soft or hard rock or chiselling or wedging out of soft/ hard rock, where blasting is prohibited, in all lifts including trimming and dressing of sides, levelling of beds to correct grade including shoring, strutting, planking, timbering and dewatering where ever required. Stacking usable and unusable material/ soil separately and after laying, jointing and testing of pipes, returning the usable soil in 15cm layers by ramming and watering and then disposing of all surplus excavated soil/ unusable material as directed within all leads/ lifts including restoration of unmetalled surfaces to its original condition and including cost of diversion for traffic, night signal boards, fixing caution boards, crossing over trenches for access to houses, fencing etc. complete in all respect with in all leads and lifts as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. Laying, jointing and testing in trenches to be levelled to grades, GI flanged pipes of following diameter confirming to IS:1239-1990( Part-II) having minimum wall thickness as per IS code and class of pipes specified below, The MS flanges shall confirm to BIS 6392-1971 (with latest up to date amendments) welded at both ends according to relevant BIS standards and detailed specifications i/c provision of nut & bolts of required sizes, 3mm thick compressed asbestos fiber jointing gasket / synthetic rubber gasket confirming to relevant BIS codes including all kinds of flanged short pieces, bends, tees & other specials etc made from parent tubes & welded with flanges of required tables as applicable for the particular reach as per site conditions including flushing, cleaning & hydraulic testing as per directions of Engineer-in-charge.150mm dia (M) Flange Table 17

Laying and binding ( By way of circumferental butt welding by electrical arc welding ) and testing of galvanised mild steel tube G.I pipe of following Dia. Confirming to BIS 1239-2001 ( Latest with upto date ammendements having wall thickness as per code with bevelled / Plain ends in a random length of 4 to 7 Mtrs. including mfg. reducers/ tapers all the pieces , bends etc. as per site requirement made from parent tube. The laying of will includes all operation such as Cutting , welding , jointing , fabrication of bends , tee etc. including lowering and laying in excavated trenches to ensure required level including flushing and cleaning anad hydrullic testing complete in all respectto the satisfaction of the Engineer in Charge. the fabricated bend shall have three or four cuts having its radius not less than five times the dia. of ppe . the dameged portion of the pipe end special made form the parent tube during welding or otherwised shall be provided anti corrossive treatment by applying two coats of anti corrossive bitumens paint over a priming coat as per AWWA specifications C- 203 -1978. the welding electric shall be Aas per IS 814 of advani OerIkon / L&T or ISI markd make . The rate also includes entire carriage of material, flushing, cleaning , hydraullic testing complete to the best satisfication and direction of Enginner in Charge with in alll leads and lifts .( Earth work in trenches will be measured and paid for separtely. 125mm dia (MC)

Providing, Laying, Jointing Flanged joints including welding the same with MSERW Pipe /GI Pipe with following flange table( @ 5% joints in total length of gravity main ) mentioned below with nuts and bolts of required sizes , 3mm thick compressed asbestos fiber gasket or synthetic rubber gasket confirming to relevant BIS Code and to the direction & best satisfaction of Engineer in charge
