Excavating over areas n exc 1.5 m deep and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated soil to a distance exc 1.5Km but n. exc 5Km and depositing where complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Moorum/red bajri filling in floors or pavings, laid in layers n.exc 15cm thick, spread, levelled and rammed including watering all as specified and as directed

M&L for Soling (or sub base) 150mm thick (spread thickness) in one layer with broken boulders or quarried stone (Granite, Trap, Basalt), interstices filled of grading 1 (90 to 45 mm size), surface formed, rolled and consolidated to required gradient and camber with 8 to 12 tonne power road roller complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for 150 mm thick (Compacted thickness) WBM, in two layers (75 mm thick each layer) with coarse aggregates of granite, trap or basalt stone of grading 2 (63 mm to 40 mm size) or of grading 3 (50 to 20 mm size), blinded with screening of hard stone of grading ‘A’, spread, watered and rolled with 8 to 12 tonne power roller, hollows made up to form true surface and consolidated to required gradient and camber etc, complete all as specified and as directed.

Material & Labour for preparing newly laid un-surfaced WBM surface by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for applying evenly a tack coat of paving bitumen primer of grade VG-10 at the rate of 10 Kg per 10 Sqm of road surface by sprayer operated on hot pressure mechanism complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Preparing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for applying evenly a tack coat of paving bitumen primer of grade VG-10 at the rate of 05 Kg per 10 Sqm of road surface by sprayer operated on hot pressure mechanism over old black top surfaces complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Bituminous premix Semi Dense Asphaltic Concrete (SDAC) 40mm thick (consolidated thickness) with crushed and graded coarse aggregates as per design based on Job mix formula with 5.5% bitumen binder content (bitumen of Grade VG-30) by weight of total mix including heating bitumen to the required temperature, mixing bituminous concrete in automatic and temperature controlled hot mixing plant, laying, spreading uniformly by means of Mechanical paver and rolling and consolidating to the required gradient and camber with 8 to 12 tonne power road roller to a uniform smooth surfaces complete all as specified and as directed.

Notes : (i) The actual requirement of binder shall be as per the job mix formula and test specified. However quantity from the mix formula found more than specified 5.5% same will be provided with no extra cost to the Govt. In case binder content found to be less than 5.5% as per mix formula as specified in Schedule 'A' shall be adusted @ the rate of 51.30/KG for the less quanity of bitumen used. The quantity of 5.5 % mentioned is exclusive of any wastage and no wastage shall be taken onto account for the purpose of above adjustment. (ii) Paving bitumen primer of Grade VG-10 for tack coat and bitumen of Grade VG-30 for semi dense asphaltic concrete shall be used and shall be procured by the contractor under his own arrangement and at his own cost. (iii) Cost of all the materials, T&P, labour etc. required for preparation of surfaces, applying tack coat, providing and laying semi dense asphaltic concrete including procurement of bitumen as specified here-in-before, stone aggregates & sand etc, rolling and all other elements required for entire completion of the job shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted for this item

M & L for Hardcore of Broken stone gauge n exc. 63mm, deposited, spread & levelled in layers n exc. 15 cm thick, watered and rolled/ rammed to a true surface all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC 1:4:8 type C2 (using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in path/flooring concrete and similar work complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for PCC 1:2:4 type B2 (using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in path/flooring concrete and similar work complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for forming construction joints 30mm deep x 10mm wide filled with sealing compound Grade 'A' complete all as specified and as directed.
