Supply, install, testing & commissioning of Factory Made 11 KV, 630 Amps, 21 kA for 3 Seconds, SF6 Insulated, Motorized, Outdoor, 8 Way RMU Consisting of 2 Nos VCB Incoming, 2 Nos VCB Outgoing for Feeder and 4 Nos VCB Outgoing for Transformer complete all specified and as directed and shall comprise of the following: [A] RMU shall be 11 KV, 630 Amps, 21 kA for 3 Seconds, SF6 Insulated, Motorized, Outdoor, 8 Way RMU, Right side Extensible with Air Insulated Bus Connected Metering unit, Type tested in line with latest IEC Standards, suitable for operations at a height up to 1000 Meters above sea level and at 40ºC Ambient Temperature without any de-rating, Switchgear and Busbar shall all be contained in a Stainless Steel Enclosure [Minimum 2mm thick AISI 441 Grade] filled with SF6 at 0.3 Bar [300 hPa] Relative Pressure, RMU Tank shall provide Full Insulation and Switchgear shall be insensitive to the environment with Degree of Protection of IP67 immersion for 30 minutes as per IEC Standard 60529, Switchgear Operating Mechanism shall have an IP2X Protection and Cable Chamber shall have IP3X Protection, Outer Enclosure shall be IP 54 type tested, Powder Coated with Pure Polyester Based Paint, suitable for the site installation conditions, Accidental Overpressure due to an Internal Arc is limited by the opening of the safety valve, at the bottom of the metal enclosure, away from the operator, Plug in type of extensibility must be provided and coupling busbar should not be exposed to air to avoid oxidation of busbars. Extension of cubicle shall require 450mm to handle and the gap between the coupled RMU’s must be within 10mm.
[B] Vacuum Circuit Breaker [VCB], comprising of the following: [i] 11 KV, 630 Amps, 21 kA VCB with Manual / Motorised Spring Assisted Mechanism and Series Trip Coil – 1 No, [ii] Load Break Switch with Built-In Earth Switch – 1 No [iii] Position Indicator through clear front mimic in line with IEC 62271-103 – 1 No [iv] Self Powered Relay with O/C, S/C, E/F Protection. Relay shall have a Front USB / RS485 / RS232 Port for Laptop Interface / Modbus Communication, LCD Display, 10 Event Records, 5 Fault Records, min 2 setting group and keypad for setting parameters for the relay – 1 No [v] CT Ratio 200-100/1-1A for Incoming, 200-100/1-1A for 2 Nos Feeder Outgoing and CT Ratio 100-50/1-1A, 4 Nos Transformer Outgoing, Class - 1.0, 2.5VA for Metering and Class 10P10, 2.5 VA for Protection – 1 Set [vi] Live Cable Indicator with indication at the Front and Three Inlets to check the Synchronization of Phases – 1 No [vii] Cable Termination Bushing suitable for up to 1 Run, 3 Core, 300 Sq.mm, XLPE Cable – 1 Set [viii] Cable Termination Cover Boots [Push on type] – 1 Set [ix] Fault Passage Indicator FPI. [x] Circuit Breakers shall have Two Positions: Open or Disconnected and Closed. A separate and independent 3 Position Earthing Switch and disconnector shall be fitted to open and earth the cables in such way that interlocks prevent all unauthorised operations. An operating mechanism shall be used to manually close the circuit breaker and charge the mechanism in a single movement. An independent mechanism shall be fitted for the 3 Positions Earthing Switch and Disconnector Circuit breaker shall be fitted with a local system for manual tripping by an Integrated Push Button. There shall be no automatic reclosing. Circuit Breaker shall have a min of 2000 Mechanical and Electrical Operations and 50 Nos Short Circuit Operations, Disconnector and Earth Switch shall have a minimum of 1000 [M1] Mechanical Operations , 100 Electrical Operations at rated current and 5 Nos Operations at Rated Short Circuit Current.
[h] Remote Database downloading of FRTU from Master Station from SCADA/DMS Control Center. [i] Internal Battery Backup to hold Data in SOE Buffer Memory & also maintaining the Time & Date. [j] Communication with at least Four Master Stations simultaneously on IEC 60870-5-104 [k] RTU shall be capable of Acquiring Analog Values through Transducers having output as 4-20 mA, 0-10 mA, 0-+10 mA etc using Analog Input Modules. [l] FRTU shall have one TCP/IP Ethernet Port for communication with Master Station[s] using IEC 60870-5-104 Protocol. [m] FRTU shall have one Serial RS 485 Port for communication with MFTs and connected in daisy chain using MODBUS Protocol. Minimum 15 Analog Values [Including 4 Energy Values] shall be considered per energy meter. [viii] Connection with adjacent modules shall be direct through busbar via metering bushing or through MV cables. VT’s and CT’s from the manufacturer conforming to IEC61869-3 and IEC 61869-2 respectively shall be accepted.
Note: [a] The make of Vacuum Interrupter, FRTU offered shall be of the same make as of the Ring Main unit. [b] An operator situated in front, lateral and rear [A-FLR 21kA – 1 Sec, Downwards Exhaust, for Tank as well as Cable Compartment] of the RMU Switchboard during an internal fault shall not be exposed to the effects of Arcing. Internal Arc Type Test Report for IAC AFLR 21 kA for 1 Sec for both Tank & Cable Box shall be for minimum 3 Way / 3 Function RMU. [c] All operations shall be from front of the RMU, including access to cable bushings. Bushings along the sides or the rear of the RMU are not acceptable. [d] Construction of Plinth / Foundation for 11KV RMU: The rate quoted is deemed to be including the cost of Plinth / Foundation and shall be paid extra on this account. The foundation shall consists of Two Parallel Brick Walls built using Fly Ash bricks straight or curved on plan to any radius built in Cement Mortar 1:6 of length 2.10m, suitable thickness and height as per the manufacturer’s instructions over PCC Concrete Bed of 150mm thick in PCC 1:4:8, Type D-2, using 40mm graded stone aggregate over 150mm thick Hardcore of gauge not exceeding 63mm of broken stones or boulders, deposited, spread and levelled in layers not exceeding 15 cm thick watered and rolled, over 150mm thick Sand Bed, rendering to brick surfaces, 15 mm thick in Cement Mortar 1:4, and finishing the top surface even and smooth without using extra cement, applying Three coats of white washing including earthwork excavation of pit size 2.10 X 1.20 X 0.60 Metres complete all as per manufacturer’s recommendations, drawings, as specified and as directed. [e] The rate quoted is also deemed to be including the cost of disconnection of HT Cables up to 3 Core, 240 Sq.mm from existing 2 Pole / 4 Pole Structures, removing of cable loop and reconnection to RMU complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. [f] End termination joints shall be measured and paid separately.

M & L for Precast RCC Cable Route Indicator duly engraved with letters "HT/LT UG CABLE", of size 600 X 450mm, 100 mm thick with Semi Circular Shaped Top made of RCC 1:2:4, using 20 mm graded stone aggregate, duly Reinforced with High Strength Corrosion Resistant Deformed TMT Bars of Grade Fe–500D of 10 dia, duly grouted up to 550mm using PCC, 1:3:6, Type C1 complete including necessary excavation and earth work and applying Two coats of Weather Proof Exterior Emulsion Paint [100% Acrylic] over a Coat of Weather Proof Exterior Primer of same manufacturer as that of paint on all the exposed concrete surfaces complete all as specified and as directed.
M & L Boring of holes under road, pavement, hard standing by trenchless technology using ultra sound technique and necessary machinery including HDPE Pipe, 150mm bore, 0.4 Mpa working pressure complete all specified and as directed. Note: The horizontal directional drilling machine boring shall be minimum shot length of 100m horizontal length in a single span and depth shall not be less than 1.20m. The unit rate quoted is deemed to be inclusive for earth work as required at site for boring at starting and termination ends complete all as directed.
