Construction of Gabion Wall

Clearing jungle including uprooting of rank vegetation, grass, brush wood, trees and saplings of girth and removal of rubbish , disposing the materials as directed by EIC ( For river/canal/dam)

Excavation in all sorts of soil (including wet and slushy condition of soil) with yellow, sandy, gravelly soil including soft murrum/ Hard Murrum including sorting & stacking and depositing the excavated stuff in uniform layers as and where directed all lead and lift as shown below including clearing the site, dewatering etc. complete. (A) For all canal capacity (a) 0 to 3 Mt. depth.

Earth work in embankment from borrow pit in all sorts of soil and soft murrum or other suitable strata as directed including breaking the clods and dressing to the design sections including cuting the proud section with lead as under and all lift including site clearing etc complete. including breaking clods, dressing with all lead and lift and including watering rolling and consolidation of subgrade in layers at O.M.C. to required dry density including filling the depression which occur during the process using power roller 8T to 10T. For all cannal capacity ( a) 0 to 30 mtr

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level : 1:3:6 (1 Cement : 3 coarse sand (zone-III) derived from natural sources : 6 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size derived from natural sources)

Providing & making Gabion structure with Mechanically Woven Double Twisted Hexagonal Shaped Wire mesh Gabion Boxes as per IS 16014:2012, MORTH Clause 2500, of required size, Mesh Type 10x12(D=100 mm with tolerance of ± 2%) Zinic+PVC coated, Mesh wire diameter2.7/3.7mm, mechanically edged/selvedged with partitions at every 1m interval and shall have minimum 10 numbers of openings per meter of mesh perpendicular to twist, tying with lacing wire of diameter 2.2/3.2mm(ID/OD), supplied @3% by weight of Gabion boxes, filled with boulders with least dimension of 200 mm, as per drawing, all complete as per directions of Engineer-incharge. including excavation, dewatering, monor sand filling, machinary, tools, plant as directed by Consultant/ Architect & engineer in charge at site.

Supply and installation of polyester needle punched non woven geotextile as filter media behind Gabion/Reinforced soil wall, behind gabion fascia , as per MoRTH 700 Type-III geotextile. The width of geotextile roll shall not be less than 4.5 m, at easily accessible location including top and bottom, with all leads and lifts, manpower and machinery, materials, labour etc. complete and as directed by Engineer - In - Charge.

Care & diversion of river including required dewatering during construction of proposed bank protection work as prescribed and directed etc. complete. Including all type of machineries, safty measure etc. complete
