M & L for hardcore of broken stone or boulders exc 63mm but n exc. 100mm, deposited, spread and levelled in layers n exc. 15cm thick, watered and rolled/rammed to a true surface,complete all as specified

M & L for sand filling under floors or in foundations including watering and consolidation, complete all as specifiedand as directed by E-I-C.

M & L for PCC 1:4:8 Type D2 using 40mm graded aggregate as in foundations, filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Reinforced cement concrete (design mix)in:- M-25 Foundations, including rafts, footings, foundation beams; plinth beams; bases for columns, etc.; basement slabs, under-reamed piles and mass concrete complete all as specified and as directed by the E-I-C

M&L Walls, retaining walls, basement walls, ballast walls and the like; any thickness; above top of footings; including attached pilasters and buttresses RCC wall with 20 mm Graded aggregate.

M & L for mild steel deformed or twisted bars TMT of 8 mm dia & over, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including M.S. wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm

Formwork to sides of concrete foundations, footings, bases of columns, raft and raft beams, sides and soffits (if any) of foundation and plinth beams; and and similar work; vertical or to batter in flat rough finished surface.

M & L for rendering 25mm thick in cement plaster 1:4 on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces & is to be finished even and smooth complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge

M&L PVC (SWR) pipes singlesocketed, in any length with rubber ring joints, laidin trenches or in floors 110 mm pipe bore.

Returning, filling in, includingspreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm. ( Hard /dense soil).

M & L for removing excavated material Soil, exc. 250 m but n exc. 500 m and depositing where directed, complete all as specified
