Enlistment and empanelment of vendors for civil maintenance works

Removing broken/damaged glass panes from door/windows, shutters, fixed glazing, louvers etc. and fixing approved glass panes, including necessary beading, putty, gaskets, nails, clips, solution, bolt etc.and finishing of beading with paint/polish to match the adjoining surface, disposal of glass & debris complete as directed. by Engineer Incharge. (Actual area of new glass fixed shall be measured)

Providing, fabricating & fixing wood work of required Section, size & shape for repairs of existing wood work or For addition/ alteration etc. including preparation of old Work for joining new work, necessary nails, screws, adhesive, hold fasts, grouting, painting with anti termite Paint on surface in contact with building work, primer & 2 Costs approved enamel paint or polish on exposed surface labour, T&P etc. complete as directed (finished length & rectangular cross section of members actually fixed shall be measured by Engineer In charge.

P & F pressed steel door/windows frames made out of 1.25mm thick CRCA sheet including necessary hold fasts, primer coating, welding to old Members, grouting of hold fasts in CC bed block 1:2:4, Finishing, etc. complete as directed by Engg. I/c,

P & F lipping of 2nd class teak wood size & shape as required with necessary glue, nails, etc & two coats of French polish complete as directed by Engg. I/c (finished Length & rectangular cross section of members actually fixed shall be measured) as per sectional area given below:.

P/Fixing m.s. dashfastener of approved quality including supply of all required misc. item as per site requirement & instructions of Engineer Incharge including supply of all labour, T&P etc. complete.

Removing damaged MS. Hinges, providing & fixing new M.S. Hinges of different type & sizes on wooden or steel door / window frames & shutter including screws & necessary welding, aligning & plaining shutters etc. complete as directed by Engineer I/c.

Providing & fixing aluminum anodized tower bolt (with barrel & bolts) on Decor windows including re-fixing brackets, riveting / welding aligning & plaining shutters etc. as required complete as directed Engineer In cahrge.

Providing & fixing hasps & staples (safety type) of approved make & type including supply of all material, labour, T&P etc. as required for proper completion of the work as per direction of Engineer Incharge.

Providing of glass strips for flooring

Mild steel or iron in plain work such as reinforced concrete or reinforced brick work (when not including in an over all rates) wrought to required shape as necessary including bending for proper completion of the work as including supply of steel its wastage bend hooks and authorized over lapping shall be measured up to floor two level, including supply of all materials, labour, tools and plants etc. required for proper completion of the work as per direction of the engineer in-charge.

Providing and fixing tank covers including all accessories as per specifications.

Providing & fixing PVC ball on existing ball cock i.e. supply of all material, labour, tools & plants as required, complete as directed by Engineer Incharge.

Providing and laying stoneware pipe of approved quality including all necessary fitting, excavation of trenches up to required depth, laying & jointing the pipes in line and level, with C.M. (1:1) and jute fibers, curing, refilling of the trenches, testing etc. complete as directed including supply of all material, labour and T&P etc. as required for proper completion of the work as per direction of Engineer Incharge.

Providing and laying Sand Cast Iron pipe (NECO, HEP OR Equivalent make) line concealed in the structure as per details and requirement including all necessary specials such as Y-s, T-s, offsets, plugs, bends etc. making zaris, fixing of pipes, filling and finishing zaris, cement filling of joints etc. complete as directed by engineer –in-charge.

Repairing of leaky joints of C.I. pipes at all levels for rain water, waste water & soil lines by removing completely old cement or lead jointing, cleaning and remaking joints leak proof, including all labour, material, T & P, scaffolding etc. complete as directed including supply of all material, labour and T&P etc. as required for proper completion of the work as per direction of Engineer Incharge.

Welding charges for welding broken/loose fixtures in building work using suitable electric arc welding plants, labour, consumables, T & P scaffolding etc. at all levels any where in the institute campus.

Cartage/ disposal of ballast, Kankar, coal, Grit, debris, earth or sand etc. including loading and unloading but excluding staking on pucca roads, including supply of all material, labour, tools and plants etc. as required for the proper completion of work as per direction of Engineer Incharge.

Disposal of damaged, wornout Civil Engineering old materials received from different sources in view of civil maintenance, upgradation, renewal, special repair etc, as per direction of Engineer Incharge.

Cost of all scraps as mentioned above shall be accounted for separately as this amount is to be deducted on different head against bills submitted by concerned contractor on the basis of actual weighing and it shall be the responsibility of the contractor to collect and remove all the scrap from Institute primises without any additional payment with in a week time from the date of submission of bill.

Felling trees of girth Including cutting of trunks and branches removing the roots and stacking of serviceable materials and disposal of unserviceable material.

Boring,providing and installing bored cast-in-situ reinforced cement concret pile of specified diameter and length below the pile cap in cement concrete M25 to carry a safe working load not less than specified, including the cost of boring with casing and/ or bentonite solution and the length of the pile to be embeded in the pile cap including cost of tor steel reinforcement bending, binding and placing all for including supply of all material, labour and T & P etc. as required for proper completion of the work as per direction of the Engineer I/c

Vertical load testing of pile in accordence with IS2911(Part-IV) including installation of loading plateform and preparation of pile head or construction of test cap and dismantling of test cap after test etc. complete as per specification & the diretion of Engineer in-charge

Providing and injection chemical emulsion for proconstrctional anti-termite treament and creating a chemical barrier under and alround the column pit wall trenches basement excavation top surface if plilnth filling junction od wall and floor, along the extranal perimetre of binding expansion joints surrounding of pipes and conduit etc. complete (plinth area of the building a ground floor only shell be measered as per 1.s. 6313(part II 1981) Aldrine emulsifiable concentrate or any other approved material such as heptrachlor or chlordance will be used .

Fabrication of Z - section steel windows, including necessary steel fitting such as handles stay etc.
