Designing, commissioning of sewage treatment plant at demarcated location at Korba from inlet point of impure waste water to outlet point of purified water. Scope of work will consist of designing (Structural, sanitary and hydraulic designing), providing and installing bar screen flash mixture, flocculator, primary settling tank SAF reactor, secondary settling tank, sludge drying beds, chlorine contact chamber, pressure sand filter and activated carbon filter complete with machinery, piping and valves and electrical works between inlet and outlet as per specification given in tender documents but excluding construction work. The Plant will be designed for 6.0 laks litres capacity per day. Operation and maintenance of the plant for a period of 12 months. The plant has to be designed for PH : 7.5 - 8.4 , BOD: less than 100 mg/L, COD : less than 10 mg/L, TSS : Less than 5 ppm, Turbidity: 5 -25 NTU, Colour: Nil, Calcium:75- 200 mg/L, Chlorides: 200 - 600 mg/L, Sulphates: 200 -400 mg/L, Iron: 0.3 - 1.0 mg/L, Magnese: 0.1 - 0.5 ppm, Fluorides: 0.7 - 1.0 ppm, Lead: Less than 0.1, Arsenic: Less than 0.2, Taste: Unobjectionable, Odor:Unobjectionable, Caliform: 1 MPN. Note: If the work is considered complete and in working condition, payment equivalent to 90% of this item shall be released upon completion of the work, while the remaining 10% payment shall be released after successful completion of operation and maintenance of the plant for a period of 12 months.
