8702 Repairs maintenance of fire alarm, lightning protection, earthing at NSTL area under AGE I RnD NSTL Visakhapatnam

Supply and fix in repair Air termination, single pointed Aluminium rod 12 mm dia and 300 mm alongwith saddles and screws including taking down old complete all as specified and as directed by Engr in charge.

Supply and fix in repair Test point terminal block made of gun metal or phosphorus brozzee size 75x75 x25 mm drilled and screwed along with saddles incuding 3 Nos 8 mm dia 25 mm long hex head screw complelte all as specified and directed by Engr in charge.

Supply and fix in repair Aluminium strip 25 x 3.15mm with saddles and fixing screws etc. for roof conductors and down conductors above ground including taking down old complete all as specified and as directed by Engr in charge..

M &L for Earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 60×60cm.× 6mm thick, buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 metres deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less'than 1.5 metres below normal ground level, connected to galvanised earth strip of size 25x4 mm as earthing lead by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 connected to earthing test point all as specified or indicated including testing on completion complete all as specified and directed by Engr in charge. Note : (i) If Earthing resistance is not less than 5 Ohms earthing should be redone without any extra cost. (ii) up to 7.5 RM GI strip cost included in above quoted rate. (iii) After completion of Earthing the test report in duplicate should submit to the department.

M & L for PVC rectangular block for Aluminium Strip joints of 3 mm thick plastic laminated sheet cover of size 100 mm x 100 mm and 50 mm deep complete all as specified and as directed by Engr in charge..

M & L for Galvanised iron strip 32 x 6mm fixed in walls/ buried in ground for connecting earth complete all as specified and as directed by Engr in charge.

Supply and fix aviation obstruction light LED type, comprising of aluminium hsg. with polycarbonate enclosure with 302 LEDs, for 360 degree illumination, all as per BGAV 302 LED of BAJAJ make or eqvt in PHILIPS/CG/WIPRO/Havells.

M & L for cleaning of Detectors/ MCP/ Hooters/Sounders/Addressable control module any type in any height as and when required with air blower for making fire alarm detection system make it operational in any type of building at NSTL, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M & L for testing of functionality of Fire Alarm System in quarterly or as and when directed by Engr- in-Charge by random check of devices by artificial smoke and other testing measures in any type of building, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S & F in repair addressable Sounder cum- storb, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.
