Supply and fixing of Retro reflective sign board of size 600 x 600 sqmm made of ACP sheet of 3mm thick ACP sheet shall be fixed on MS frame with legs of MS angle section 35mm X 35mm X 4mm grouted in PCC 1:3:6 type C-1, 750mm above the ground level and 600mm below the ground level or fixed on electric sub station grouted on wall with hole fastener. The background of board to be provided with red colour, letters and border with white retro reflective tape. Same description shall be mentioned on ACP sheet complete all as specified and directed. NOTE:- (i) Excavation, earth work, PCC, nuts, bolts, fasners, paint on MS frame and legs shall be included in quoted rates by contractor. (ii) The size of letters and description shall be all as per sample approved by Engr-in-Charge.

Excavation in trenches n.exc 1.5 mtr wide and n.exc 1.5 mtr deep in loose / soft soil and getting out for under ground cable / erection of poles, stays etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix of junction box shall be insulated and made out of polycarbonate with glass fiber reinforced. The size in mm should be not less then 225 X 295 X 112 mm. The polycarbonate JB shall be environment friendly, recyclable, UV resistant, halogen & silicon free, anti acid & anti corrosive. The JB shall be rated for degree of Ingress protection IP 66/67 in accordance with IEC 60529. The gasket material shall be polyurethane and the gasket shall be internally embedded. (B) ALTERNATOR. The engine shall be coupled through flexible coupling to an Synchronus alternator mounted on a strong steel fabricated common base frame suitable for mounting on a permanent foundation. The alternator shall be 3 phase, 50 Hz, 1500 RPM, self excited, self regulating and Brushless type provided with suitable automatic voltage regulator and shall be confirm to BS : 2613 or BS : 5000 or conforming to latest BS, ISO or IS and generating 50 KVA output after derating with coupled to diesel engine at 0.8 power factor lag, 415 volts, 4 wire, AC supply under NTP conditions. The alternator will confirm the following feature. (i) IP 23 protection with H class insulation. (C) MANUAL CONTROL PANEL : Cubical, indoor type made out of CRCA sheet of 2 mm thick confirming to IS 8623 totally enclosed, dust and vermin proof ,415 volts, 3 phase, 4 wire, AC 50 Hz having copper bus bar of capacity as required to carry current at 110% load of 50 KVA DG Set with three phase and neutral duly colour coded, pre wired with copper cable of suitable size and suitable MCCB etc all as per standard practice of manufacturer specifications. (D) BASE FRAME: Engine and Alternator directly coupled on a common channel iron fabricated base frame with predrilled holes. (E) FUEL TANK : Daily service fuel tank of capacity as per manufacturer recommended,fabricated from 14 SWG sheet metal and integrated in base frame of acoustic enclosure complete with drain valve, level indicator,lid with hinges including locking system,inlet and outlet connection. (F) ACOUSTIC ENCLOSURE: Enclosure be designed for reducing the sound level 75-5db (Average) as per ISO 8528 part 10 as per approved CPCB norms. The accoustic enclosure must consists of following :- (i) CRCA sheet with Body 16 SWG and Roof 14 SWG thick. (ii) Base frame be fabricated of ISMC channel or in sheet metal, base frame will be prime coated and painted. (iii) Enclosure be powder coated. (iv) Insulated rock wool fire retarded/non igniting and noise reduction type, properly clamped and shall be provided on all doors, roof and sides to absorb noise. (v) Special designed stainless steel door locks and door hinges. (G) (i) No separate Cost claimed by the contractor for construction of Plinth for DG set as per OEM specification. (ii) Minimum 1mtr clearance will be provided all around the DG set on plinth.

NOTES : (i) The panel will be complete with internal wiring with suitable size of copper cable. (ii) The panel shall be duly tested and comply with CPRI test standard. (iii) DG set shall be placed on PCC Platform of suitable size, minium one meter extended all around the DG set. Height of platform from ground level shall be minimum 400 mm and depth below GL shall be minimum 200 mm. Platform shall be provided over 100 mm thick hard core. Cost of PCC platform including hard core, finishing with plaster and earth work etc shall deemed to be included in quoted rate of item. (iv) Tools shall be supplied as per manufacturer instruction and cost thereof shall be included in the cost of DG set. (v) The DG set and acoustic enclosure shall be complete one unit and it shall be installed as one complete set. (vi) Fuel tank shall be inside the canopy. (vii) Exhaust fan shall be provided of suitable capacity, as approved for proper ventilation. (viii) Exhaust pipe shall be properly insulated. (ix) Thermostat switch inside the acoustic enclosure shall be provided to shut off the DG set in case temperature increases beyond 70 Degree centigrade inside the acoustic enclosure. (x) There shall be windows in the acoustic enclosure suitable located to read the meters of various controls from outside. (xi) Necessary grouting mild steel nuts, bolts, washers etc and anti vibration pad shall be provided by the contractor.
