M&L for replacement of Prestressed cement concrete poles 9.0 M long of size 102mm x 172mm at top and 102mm x 279mm at bottom, class-10, conforming to relevant latest IS including dismantling and refixing of cross arm, security light fittings, brackets or any other existing fittings etc and connecting, testing, including dismantling and removal of old broken/unserviceable pole and cement concrete coping etc., at site. NOTE: - (i) Earthwork, PCC will be measured and paid separately under relevant item. (ii) Removal of dismantled items from site are included in rate quoted by the contractor. complete all as specified and as directed.

Note: - Rate quoted is deemed to be inclusive of necessary excavation, PCC, stay wire, Loop insulator, clamps etc and dismantling of old stay assembly

M&L for Trimming and pruning of one tree complete cutting of all branches of any dia but not exceeding 75 mm up to a safe distance from the over head lines complete all as directed at site and disposal of branches/bushes to a distance and clearing the site all as directed by Engineer-in-charge. NOTE:- The necessary man power, tool & plant, cutting tools and JCB required for cutting/pruning of branches is deemed to included in the rate quoted for the job.

M&L for ZEBRA painting of PCC poles 9/11 m long along with road up to 1.5 m height from pedestal, with two coats of enamel synthetic paints in 30 cm height including painting of pole coping with white paint all as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for preparation of surfaces of steel tubular pole/rail pole up to 9 mtr long and painting with two coats of synthetic enamel silver paint over a coat of red oxide primer including painting the pole coping with white paint and zebra painting up to 1.5 mtr from pole coping complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for writing pole number of minimum 10 cm height with black paint over yellow paint base on PCC/steel poles of LT supply complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for danger notice plate of 1.6mm thick mild steel sheet, vitreous enameled white, with letters, figures and conventional skull and bones in signal red color and fixed with M.S. clamps, bolts and nuts of approved size, for LT, 20x15cm size complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrodes 600mmx600mmx6 mm thick buried directly in ground earth (earth pit not less 2.25 m deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less then 1.5 mtr below normal ground level connected to galvanised iron earthing strip 32mm x6mm thick by means of bolt nuts check nuts and washers of galvanized iron or steel all as specified & shown in electrical plate No.3 of MES SSR part-I 2009 connected to earth test point as specified and testing on completion including provision of 40 mm dia light grade pipe up to 7.5 mtr length as protection, watering pipe of 20 mm bore medium grade, all excavation, earth work in any type of strata, earth pit in PCC 1:3:6 type C1 RCC cover including, charcoal, salt, funnel, etc complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Panel should be vermin proof and close properly after repair.

The panel shall be powder coated, factory made double door made out of 3.15 mm thick MS sheet totally enclosed dust, vermin and rust proof front operated, front and rear opening with locking arrangement fixed with MS angle iron frame of size 40mm x40mm x6mm duly embedded in PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 platform and including wiring of multistranded copper cable of suitable size including lugs and cable gland to incoming and outgoing cables and re-routing of LT cables of change over within 10 mtr of distance etc all as directed at site and comprising of following:-
