Excavation in foundation, trenches ( for pipes & pits) upto all depths in all classification of earth work such as pick work, jumper work, saturated soil including bailing and pumping out water, blasting soft/ hard rock or chieselling soft/hard rock where blasting is prohibited in all lifts including trimming and dressing of sides, leveling of beds to correct grade i/c shoring /strutting , planking, timbering & dewatering wherever required, stacking the useable & unuseable material /soil separately & after laying jointing & testing of pipes, returning the useable soil in trenches in 15 cm layers including consolidating of such deposoited layer by ramming & watering & then disposing of all surplus excavated soil /unusable material as directed with in all leads & lifts including restoration unmetalled surfaces to its original condition & including cost of diversion for traffic, night signals, fixing caution boards, crossing over trenches for access to houses, fencing etc. complete in all respects with in all leads & lifts as per directions of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing, laying, jointing (by way of circumfrential butt welded joints by electrical arc welding and testing of MSERW pipe of 200 mm dia meters confirming to ISO 3183-2007, Steel garde-A or L 210 (latest with upto date amendments) having wall thickness of 4.80 mm with bevelled ends and capable of withstanding required test pressure in a random length of 4 to 7 meters, including manufacturing reduders/tapers, all short pieces, bends etc. as per site requirement made from parent tube. The laying of pipe will include all operation such as cutting, welding, jointing, fabrication of bends, tees, etc. including loweringand laying in excavated trenches to ensure required level including flushing, cleaning and hydraulic testing complete in all respects to the satisfation of the Engineer in charge. The fabricated bends shall have three or four cuts having its radius not less than five times the dia of pipe. The pipes shall be factory galvanized (zinc coating both inside and outside) as per relevant IS standards and the damaged portion of the pipes and specials made from the parent tube shall be provided anticorrosive treatment by applying two coats of anticorrosive bituminous paint over a priming coat as per AWWA specifications C-203-1978. The welding electrodes shall be as per IS 814 of Advani Oerlikon/L&T or ISI marked make. The rates also includes entire carriage of material, flushing, cleaning & hydraulic testing complete to the best satisfation & Engineer in charge with in all leads and lifts. (Earth work in trenches will be measured and paid for separately)

Laying, jointing and testing in trenches to be levelled to grades, GI flanged pipes of 150 mm diameter, GI Medium with wall thickness 4.80 mm, confirming to IS:1239-1990( Part-II) having minimum wall thickness as per IS code and class of pipes specified provided and jointed with flanges conforming to Flange Table-5, specified as per BIS 6392-1971 welded at both ends according to relevant BIS standards and detailed specifications and provided with nut & bolts of required sizes, 3mm thick compressed asbestos fiber jointing gasket / synthetic rubber gasket confirming to relevant BIS codes including all kinds of flanged short pieces, bends, tees & other specials etc made from parent tubes & welded with flanges of tables as applicable for the particular reach as per site conditions including flushing, cleaning & hydraulic testing as per directions of Engineer-in-charge.

Water Treatment Plant 2.0 MLD (Refer Vol-II, Data Sheet No 4 and Vol.-III Technical specification Part-III)

Providing, installation, testing and commissioning of 1 No water treatment plant ( 2.0 MLD) in Rapid sand filters including cost of construction of civil works, hoisting and errection of all steel works, providing and installation of all mechanical, Electrical equipments/accessories, laying of all interconnecting GI/MSERW pipes and scouring arrangements from all units with disposal of the same to the boundary of structures, all types of valves, fittings and all contingent works capable of taking input and giving output as laid down in chapter-I of CPHEEO manual under all climatic conditions specified therein. The treatment plant shall include but not limited to Raw Water Tank ,inlet strcuture/ channels/Pipe,Inlet Chamber, Parshall flumes C/O pre-Sedimentation tank,wash lime solution tanks, Alum solution tanks with Dozer Flash mixing ,Mechnical Clariflocculator,Rapid sand filters, filter house, pannel rooms pipe gallery, and clear water tank, chemical house, chemical handling and feeding arrangements,with safety measure, back wash units with pumping sets and rising main for back wash tank and Air compressors including arrangements for disposal of waste of water treatment plant process, Plant building comprising of Lab with equipments, office furniture, Providing and fixing of lightening arrangements complete in all respect (LED 8 NOs minimum, 100W each ) in the boundary unit of WTP , Providing and fixing all electrical/Mechanical equipments, proper walk way for Inspection/ operation of various units, interconnecting paths within WTP. Providing and setting up of all laboratory equipments etc as per CPHEEO manuals appendix 15.90 (category-II) of 1999 addition shall be provided . Sizes of various units shall be based on manual of water supply and treatment published by CPHEEO, Ministry of Urban development (GOI) New Delhi. The design of various units shall conform to relevant Codes and specifications. All the hydraulic stuctuctures shall be designed and constructed in RCC as per latest IS codes. The cost shall include site development works, i.e. cutting,filling, constrcution of retaining walls,breast wall & boundary walls. Trial run period for one year after commissioning including O&M during trial run period i.e one year after commissioning . The cost also include strcutural & hydraulic design of WTP in Rapid sand filter ,vetting of design and drawing from IITs/ NITs and supplying 5 number hard copies .All ancilliary works and accessories required to make the system fully functional shall be included in cost of work.Nothing extra shall be paid on this account. Work includes construction of civil works of WTP, Plant building and rates of these itemes shall only be quoted here. Electromechanical equipments and other accessories for WTP is part of item No. 10.01 and rates of electromechanical equipments shall be quoted against that item.

Pump House & pumping machinary (Refer Volume-II- Data sheet 5, Data sheet 6, Data sheet 7 and Vol.-III Technical specification Part-IV & V)

Designing, Constrcuting,Testing & commissioning of aesthetically designed ( to be approved by competent authority) pump house & Chowkidhar room including wash room at WTP including all allied Civil works,Electrical works,Sanitary installations,Site development works including cutting / excavation in all kinds of soils,retaing & breast walls , connectivity to sewer network,internal and external LED lightning works,Fire fighting arrangments, doors,windows, foundation & base plates for pumping machnaries etc. complete in all manner as directed by Engineer-in -charge. All anciallary items and works required to make the system fully functional shall be included in cost. The cost of priming painting of all surface shall be included nothing shall be paid extra on this account.

Providing & installation at site of submersible pumping set of (KSB /Kalama/Kirloskar/Johnston/Cromption/BS) or any approved make conforming to BIS; 8034-1976 latest suitable for lifting clear water (latest with uptodate ammendments) fitted with bronze impellers/suitable alloy directly coupled to squirrell case electric induction motor of same make as (manufacurer standard) conforming to BIS; 9283-1979 (latest with uptodate ammendments) with minimum IE2 specifications and totally water proof for submersible duty, isolated from the pump by intermediate casing with double mechanical seal in oil chamber, grease packed lubricated bearings & provided with stainless steel thrust bearing plate to with stand vertical loads with minimum wear & tear. It should also be fitted with a device to take up expansion of water with the heating of motor including water level guard,errection clamps,cable clips & depth gauge etc. including all accessories (2 Nos set, 1 No working and 1 no standby). Main Reservoir & Sector reservoirs (Refer Vol-II- Data sheet Number 9 and Vol.-III Technical specification Part-II)

Designing, Constructing, Testing & Commissioning RCC Circular under ground/partial under ground storage reservoirs as per capacity given below at various stages/sites including excavation & cutting in all kinds/ types of strata, soil strata including dewatering if required.The design mix of M30 shall be used in foundation, walls, bottom slab , roof slab/dome with smooth finishing including all alied Civil Works, Site development, cutting/excavation in all kinds of soils, refilling and disposing of surplus stuff with in all leads and lifts, labour and material charges. The job also includes providing lowering, laying, erecting, hoisting and jointing of pipe assembly for inlet, outlet, overflow and scour pipe with bye pass arrangement consisting of GI / MS pipes and valves of required classes and dia and all other accessories required such as MS ladders inside and outside CI cowl type ventilator, SFRC manhole covers including frames and covers (medium duty) with proper locking arrangement water level, indicator, RCC frames for all valves ventilating shafts shall also be provided including all leads and lifts as per entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge. The tanks shall be hydraulically tested for water tightness all works shall be conforming to relevant IS code. The cost of valves shall be included in the rates of tanks. All ancilliary works and accessories required to make the system fully functional shall be included in the cost of work.The cost shall also include providing strcutral design & drawing duly vetted from IITs/ NITs in 5 number hard copies. The rates quoted by the contractor shall be for the complete work nothing extra shall be paid on this account.

Excavation in foundations, trenches etc.in all kind of soil in all leads and lifts such as pick work, jumper work in saturated/unsaturated soil including bailing out water, blasting work in hard/ soft rock or chiseling in hard/soft rock where blasting is prohibited in all lifts stacking the excavated earth not more than 3 mtrs clear from the edge of excavation and then returning the stacked soil in 15 cm layers when required into plinths sides of each deposited layer by ramming and watering and then disposing of all surplus excavated earth foundations etc., consolidating as directed within all leads and lifts and handing over the useable materials available from excavation to department free of cost to the entire staisfaction of Engineer-in-charge with in all leads and lifts

Laying, jointing ( by way of circumfrential butt welded joints by electrical arc welding ) and testing of Galvanised mild steel tubes (GI Pipes) of 100 mm dia GI Medium, wall thickness 4.80 mm, confirming to BIS 1239-2001 (latest with upto date amendments) having wall thickness as per code with bevelled / plain ends in a random length of 4 to 7 meters, including manufacturing reducers/ tapers , all short pieces, bends etc. as per site requirement made from parent tubes . The laying of pipe will include all operation such as cutting, welding, jointing, fabrication of bends, tees etc. including lowering and laying in excavated trenches to ensure required level including flushing, cleaning and hydraulic testing complete in all respects to the satisfaction of the Engineer in charge. The fabricated bends shall have three or four cuts having its radius not less than five times the dia of pipe. The damaged portion of the pipes and specials made form the parent tube during welding or otherwise shall be provided anticorrosive treatment by applying two coats of anticorrosive bituminous paint over a priming coat as per AWWA specifications C-203-1978. The welding electrodes shall be as per IS 814 of Advani Oerlikon/ L&T or ISI marked make. The rates also includes entire carriage of material, flushing, cleaning & hydraulic testing complete to the best satisfaction & direction of Engineer in charge with in all leads and lifts. (Earth work in trenches will be measured and paid for separately).

Laying, jointing and testing in trenches to be levelled to grades, GI flanged pipes of 100 mm diameter confirming to IS:1239-1990( Part-II) having wall thickness of 4.80 mm as per IS code and class of pipes specified , provided and jointed with flanges conforming to tables as specified below of BIS 6392-1971 welded at both ends according to relevant BIS standards and detailed specifications and provided with nut & bolts of required sizes, 3mm thick compressed asbestos fiber jointing gasket / synthetic rubber gasket confirming to relevant BIS codes including all kinds of flanged short pieces, bends, tees & other specials etc made from parent tubes & welded with flanges of tables as applicable for the particular reach as per site conditions including flushing, cleaning & hydraulic testing as per directions of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and fixing of Brass Spindle Fire Hydrants with 63mm outlet as per moderate fire safety measures for Hilly areas, complete hydrant with all fittings as required for proper functioning of Fire Hydrant within all lead and lift as per entire satisfaction of Engineer in Charge.

SCADA based Automation ( Refer Vol-II, Data Sheet No 12 and Vol.-III Technical specification Part-VI)

Engineering, design,Installation, Testing and Commissioning of SCADA based automation of WTP (2.0 MLD ),Pumphouse , Tanks ,Rising Main, Tank to tank Pipe mains, tube wells 2 nos etc including Cost to Integrate Entire SCADA & IT (relevant to SCADA) Infrastructure compelte in all respect. The work also includes supply and installation of electromehcanical equipments for WTP.

Supply, installation and errection of 100 KVA Three phase silent DG Set of approved make for required load complete job as per JSV specifications including all taxes, transportations, freightcharges, loading unloading, conveyance to departmental store / site, stacking etc. including specials and wastages etc. complete with in all lead and lift as per entire satisfaction of Engineer in Charge.

GIS BASED MAPPING OF CONSUMER HOUSE HOLD ( Refer Vol-II Data Sheet No 14)

Operation & Maintenance ( Refer Vol-II Data Sheet No 15 and Vol.-IV Technical specification )

Operation and maintenancce of scheme from source to WTP ( 2 Nos-1 Existing 1.56 MLD,1 New-2.0 MLD), Gravity main,pumphouse,rising main,distribution network including fire hydrants and fire network ,all storage tanks (Proposed as well as existing sector storage tanks) of the scheme including operating SCADA based automation in proper working condition. O & M includes the regular i.e., daily supply of designed/required quantity of potable water having water quality as per of water supply standard/protocol to the beneficiaries of the scheme from source to WTP and up to main storage tanks & delivery tanks at different locations as per plan and repair and maintenance of Rising mains, Gravity mains. Regular maintenance of all the facilities covered under the instant scheme including cleaning, washing, oil and greasing repair, replacement of worn out/damaged part of pumping machinery. pipe line, valves and electrical, Mechanical requirements, regular cleaning of all structures like storage tanks, sumpwells, intakes, channels, collection/distribution channels/pump house etc. and the disposal of the same as per the direction of the Engineer-incharge. It includes fixing /repairing/leakage in structure, channel, pipe line, pumping machinery etc. & proper distribution of treated water and regular testing of water samples from departmental laboratory and required stages of treatment. Keeping regular and proper record of water quantity and quality, repair and maintenance work, chemical dosing and time and hours of run of pumping machinery, removal of all kind of slips, slush, uprooting of unwanted grass, shrubs, weeds etc growing near the structure and keeping the area neat and clean to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge. Planting and maintaining plants of the flowers/trees around the Pump Houses/ WTP/Storage tanks/Sump wells etc. to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge. It includes the cost of procurement of adequate and proper tools and plants, skilled & unskilled manpower, spare-parts, oil, grease, lubricants, chemicals and all kinds of regents required for water sample testing, refilling of gaseous cylinders including mechanical and head load carriage etc. and making standby arrangement all times, instruments, equipments, stationary and any other material etc. required for O& M excluding the cost of energy charges. All the operations shall be carried out as per the CPHEEO Manual of the water supply and treatment( with latest addition(, HPPWD/HPIPH specifications, HPIPH Department norms and directions issued by the Engineer-in-Charge from time to time and sound Engineering practices.O& M shall start after succesful trial and run period of six months after commisioning of scheme in all respect. ( Refer to data sheet No-15)
