Improvement to Kathiamunda Check Dam in Telkoi Block of Keonjhar District under Improvement to Check Dam Scheme for the year 2026-2027

Clearing and grubbing light jungle (covered with plants less than 30 cm. girth and open space between 50% to 70% on premeasurement including disposing of the debrishes clear of works site with supply of all equipments, tools and plants labour required for the work etc. complete as per direction of the Engineer in charge.

Excavation in foundation in all kinds of soil to proper section and profile with all leads, lifts and delifts including dressing and levelling the bed to proper slope and level and making it fit for laying concrete and depositing the excavated materials away from the work site with all leads, lifts and delifts including dewatering if necessary from foundation complete as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing rigid shuttering with the box type steel shuttering plates with keys for intermediate construction joints in rafts of weirs, barrages and dam blocks including cost of all materials, labour, T. & P. etc. complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge including removal of forms. etc. complete in all respect as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

RCC M-15 grade with crushed granite coarse aggregate of size 20 mm and downgraded quarried & free from weathered skin of approved quality mixing by concrete mixer including hoisting , lowering and laying concrete in position to proper slope and level and compacting by Vibrator ensuring quality control aspects and in layers not exceeding 0.15m in depth finishing the exposed surface smooth including watering, curing for required period with cost, conveyance, royalty and other taxes of all materials supplying all labour and T&P materials required for this item etc. complete in all respect as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supplying, straightening, cutting, bending, binding and tying the grills and placing in position for fabrication and fixing of reinforcement including lapping where necessary including cost conveyance & supply of binding wire with all leads, lifts from bending yard to placement spot with cost & conveyance and all taxes of steel bars of any reinforcement supplying all labour and T & P required for the work etc. complete in all respect as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing Weep Holes of 100mm dia using A.C./ PVC pipe, fixing with cement mortar including cost, conveyance, royality of all materials & cost of all labour etc complete as per approved Drawing & Technical Specifications and Clause -2706 & 2200 of MoRT&H Specifications for Road & Bridge works (5th Revision).

Removing old revetment and approns of all heights and stacking the useful materials aside and repacking with old stones with supply of all labour , T&P materials required for the work with all incidental charges required etc. complete in all respect as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Rough stone dry packing in approns and revetments to all heights and thickness using departmental stone including filling interstices with small stones by edging and hammering to proper slope and level with all labour, royality, cost, conveyance & T&P materials required for the item complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. (1/6th volume to be deducted towards voids.)

Excavation of any approved type of soil from borrow area by mechanical means loading into and transportation by transporting vehicles and unloading the soil with all leads, lifts and delifts on properly prepared and scientifically approved surface of dam and cut-off trench including dewatering whenever necessary and spreading and leveling the earth in layers of 15cm thick including re-handling of soils if required removal of all undesirable materials including all organic materials and breaking the clods to maximum 5cm to 7cm size and making ready for watering and rolling with light HRR up to all height of dam or dyke from the stripped surface above down stream filter blanket or cut-off trench as the case may be as per the design, drawing, specification including all leads, lifts, de-lifts & cost of materials, all taxes, royalties, with mobilization and demobilization, supplying , maintenance of all machineries and equipments, with all materials, labour and T & P required for the item including stripping of borrow area, construction, maintenance, watering and lighting of haul and approach roads from borrow area to work site, cost and construction of coffer dam inclusive of supervision charges including illumination of work site when ever required till completion of work all labour, royality, cost, conveyance & T&P materials in all respect as per the direction of the Engineer-in-charge. (Measurement of the fill to be taken on the finished, compacted, approved level section.)
