Bidders shall not be under a declaration of ineligibility for corrupt and fraudulent practices issued by Government of Karnataka

Bidders shall ensure upload of relevant document certifying his/her status as Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe/other reserved category as prescribed in the tender document.

It shall be the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure credit of Tender Processing Fee and EMD into the respective receiving bank accounts of e-Procurement on or before the last date and time of bid submission.

EMD Payments through e-Payment mode shall be made as one single transaction and payments made in part are liable for rejection.

JV not allowed

A copy of valid KPWD Class IV and above registration certificate

The contractor belonging to the SC/ST/Category-I & IIA should upload the valid copy of Caste certificate with RD number issued by Tahashildar of the concerned Taluka.

The contractor belonging to the SC/ST/Category-I & IIA shall be the domicile of the state of Karnataka for more than 10 years. Hence Relevant Domicile certificate of bidder for applying to works at shall be scanned and attached to e-tender document.

To qualify for award of the respective contract each tenderer in his name should have required bid capacity. To calculate Bid-capacity it will require financial turnover in last five years period i.e. from 2021-22 to 2025-26. The turnover Certificate should be issued by the Chartered Accountant should be enclosed & mention UDIN No. The turnover prior to FY 2025-26 will be updated to the present Price level FY 2026-27 by giving weightage of 10% each year.

Eligible Tenderers will be qualified only if their available tender capacity is more than the total tender value. The available tender capacity will be calculated as under: Assessed available tender capacity : (A x N x 5.0 - B).

Within 5 days of receipt of the Letter of Acceptance i.e at the time of Agreement, the successful Tenderer shall deliver to the Employer Security for an amount equivalent to 5 % of the contract price plus Additional Performance Security deposit for Unbalanced Tenders

The intending bidders are advised to visit the site of work, make themselves familiar with local situation about the availability of construction materials, work men, land required for construction activities, etc before submission of bids

Prior to awarding of work the Lowest (L-1) bidder should produce the original documents in support of the uploaded documents to enter in to the agreement. If the lowest bidder (L-1) does not produce the original documents for entering into an agreement then his bid can be treated as non-responsive bid as per Clause 26(4) of the KTPP Rules. The name of the bidder who do not produce the original documents shall be barred from participation in any of the tenders to be invited by KBJNL apart from forfeiting the EMD paid through e-cash
