E4/2746/2018. ERODE CITY MUNICIPAL CORPORATION. OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE OF SEWERAGE COLLECTION SYSTEM IN ERODE CITY MUNICIPAL CORPORATION AREA (in wards 20-28, 34-50 and 60)

Annual operation and maintenance of Sewerage collection system, pumping mains and pumping stations including serving to the consumers by public redressal in ERODE CITY MUNICIPAL CORPORATION (including salary and establishment expenses).

(a) Routine inspection & maintenance of the sewer system, Sewerage Treatment Plant for malfunctioning, back flows, blocks, leakages, overflows, subsidence of manholes, failure of sewers etc., and furnish monthly reports to the office

(b) Sewer Collection system cleaning works

(c) Removal of silt from manholes / inspection chambers

(d) Removal of blocks in sewer lines

(e) Other Mandatory operation and Maintenance duties and general duties as mentioned in Annexure III

(f) Other Emergency Maintenance works as notified by the departmental officers

(g) Establishment charges (i) Pumping station, (ii) Manholes and sewer lines per day

(h) IEC Activities and Customer Care

(i)Annual Operation & Maintenance Cost for 12 months in Year 1 ( add (a) to (g))

(ii).Year 2

(iii).Year 3

Annual Operation & Maintenance Cost for 3 Years (add 2(i) + (ii) + (iii))

Note: 1) The Bidders are requested to quote for all the works. The rates quoted for the works by ineligible bidder will not be considered for evaluation. 2) i) The contractors are required to operate and maintain the sewage pumping stations continuously during the rainy seasons by providing Additional staffs and man power for the pumping stations operated as directed by the CITY ENGINEER. ii) The monthly payment of the bidder will be computed as Monthly O&M Payment =Annual Operation & Maintenance Cost for 3 Years (Cl.3) 36 (months)

3) The rate quoted by the bidder is inclusive of provision towards Uniform and Stitching charges and Consumables like cotton waste, oil, grease, packing rope, etc. 4) The rate quoted by the bidder should be inclusive of ESI @ 4.75%, EPF 12%, etc. 5) The rate quoted by the bidder should be inclusive of provision towards necessary uniform charges, fuel charges and preliminary maintenance charges such as oil service, water service, lubricants and replacement of head light lamps etc.
