SPECIAL REPAIR TO CERTAIN ROAD IN ARUN VIHAR AT MIL STN GANDHINAGAR

Material and labour for repairs to potholes any depth, not exceeding 1 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths etc cutting around edges to at least 30 mm in depth making good by applying tack coat at the rate of 5 Kg per 10 Sqm using paving bitumen putting in premix bituminous macadam well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 Kg per 10 Sqm blinded with 0.09 Cum of stones chippings, 6.3 mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings) depth of potholes exceeding 30 cm. complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for preparing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags or with compressor air blower to remove all loose dust, dirt etc and applying evenly a tack coat of paving bitumen of VG-10 Grade at the rate of 5 Kg per 10 Sqm using mechanical sprayer complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for 30 mm thick (consolidated thickness) paving bituminous premix semidense asphaltic concrete with 5.5% binder content by weight of total mix, using VG-30 Grade paving bitumen mixed in hot mix plant, laid with mechanical paver rolled and compacted to required camber and gredient with vibratory or pneumatic power roller complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for preparing bituminous surfaces of road (The surface of existing road shall be cleaned, free from all dirt, dust etc) and applying road marking paint 2.5 mm thick width not exceeding 15 cm wide with hot thermoplastic road marking paint like centre lines, stop lines, dashes, arrow etc of approved colour confirming to BS 3262-1989 with 20% glass beads (intermixed) spread and laid by automatic mechanical machine engine at Approx temperature 160 degree celcius with experience operator complete all as specified and as directed. (Make of paint - Shalimar, Berger, Automark)

Material and labour for preparing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags or with compressor air blower to remove all loose dust, dirt etc and applying evenly a priming/ tack coat with bituminous primer at 10 Kg per 10 Sq metre using paving bitumen of grade 80/100 (VG-10) complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for bituminous macadam using crushed stone aggregate of specified grading premixed with bituminous binder VG-30 grade @ 4% by weight of total mix transporting the hot mix and filler to work site, spreading and laying hydrostatic mechanical paver and roller to required gradient rolled and compacted to smooth uniform surface with vibratory or pneumatic power roller to achieve desired compaction (consolidated thickness 75 mm or less) complete all as specified and as directed.
