INTAKE WELL-CUM-RAW WATER PUMPING STATION : Designing, Constructing, Testing & Commissioning of Intake System for tapping water from Chhadi Khad consisting of RCC Circular Intake well Cum Raw water Pumping Station including all allied Civil Works, Site development, Fencing, cutting/excavation in all kinds of soils, C/o PCC/RCC Retaining walls, Breast walls, approach path, dewatering etc complete as directed by engineer in charge. Scope consists of, but not limited to, the construction of RCC (M30) Intake Well cum pump house 11 m deep & of 6 m dia with a clear height of pump house as 6 m. Provision of inlet port at 2 different drawal levels. Including sluice valves with spur gear operations, bell mouth, with stainer & screens and 5 metric tonnes gantry girder (manually operated) with chain pulley block & approach ramp for intake etc. complete.The rates to be quoted by the contractor shall be for the complete work including Geotechnical investigations. All ancilliary works and accessories required to make the Intake system fully functional shall be included in the cost of work. Nothing extra shall be paid on this account. (Data Sheet No.1)
WATER TREATMENT PLANT : Designing (aesthetically), Providing, Constructing, Testing & Commissioning of Water Treatment Plant of 7.45 MLD Capacity based on Rapid Sand Gravity Filteration, consiting of Civil works including Laboratory, Mechnical, Electrical and Instrumental Works including necessary hydraulic testing ,structural testing,equipment testing. The components such as site development,C/o PCC/RCC Retaining walls, Breast walls upto battery limits of WTP, Dewatering, Approach Road, Inter-connecting Path, Walkway, Storm Water Drains, Scouring arrangement, Fencing, Beautification including all alied Works complete as directed by engineer in charge. The Laboratory as per CPHEEO Manual shall be established at the WTP where separate Building for the same shall be constructed to house the laboratory equipment, office record including Furniture, office Computer complete in all respects. Battery Limit shall be considered as 3.00 m from the edge of the structure or the boundary of the land whichever is less.The rates to be quoted by the contractor shall be for the complete work. All ancilliary works and accessories required to make the system fully functional shall be included in the cost of work. Nothing extra shall be paid on this account.(Refer : Data Sheet No.2)

MBRs & SRs : Designing, Constructing, Testing & Commissioning of RCC Circular under ground/partial under ground storage reservoirs as per capacity given below at various stages/sites including excavation in all kinds and types of strata, soil strata including dewatering in M30 design mix in foundation, walls, bottom slab , roof slab/dome with smooth finishing in 1:3 inside the tank, all alied Civil Works, Site development, cutting/excavation in all kinds of soils, C/o PCC/RCC Retaining walls, Breast walls, Sanitary works i.e., fencing, refilling and disposing of surplus stuff with in all leads and lifts, labour and material charges. The job also includes providing lowering, laying, erecting, hoisting and jointing of pipe assembly for inlet, outlet, overflow and scour pipe with bye pass arrangement consisting of GI / MS pipes special and valves of required classes and dia and all other accessories required such as MS ladders inside and outside CI cowl type ventilator, SFRC manhole covers including frames and covers (medium duty) with proper locking arrangement water level, indicator, RCC frames for all valves ventilating shafts shall also be provided including all leads and lifts as per entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge. The tanks shall be hydraulically tested for water tightness all works shall be conforming to relevant IS code. The cost of valves shall be included in the rates of tanks . Battery Limit shall be considered as 3.00 m from the edge of the structure or the boundary of the land whichever is less.The rates quoted by the contractor shall be for the complete work. All ancilliary works and accessories required to make the system fully functional shall be included in the cost of work. RISING MAIN, GRAVITY MAINS & DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM
Excavation in foundation, trenches etc. for pipes and pits for other civil structures upto all depths in all kinds of soil such as spade work, pick work, jumper work, blasting work,chiselling work , kankar, mooram singles including decomposed in soft /hard work ,chiselling/wedging out of hard and soft rocks where blasting is prohibited, in saturated soil including bailing out the watering, by cutting in slopes where ever required, in rocky portion suitable anchorage shall be provided (anchorage will be paid separately) and stacking the excavated materials not more than 3.00 meters clear from the edge of excavation and then returning the stacked soils in 15 cm (fifteen centi meter) layer when required into sides of trenches and above the laid pipes etc. consolidating in each deposited layer by ramming and watering and then disposing of all surplus excavated soil in all leads and lifts . After disposal ,the surface shall be neatly dressed and leveled and shoring to its original shape complete in all respect, including all leads and lifts and as per entire satisfaction of Engineer - in - charge
Providing and laying cement concrete 1:4:8 (1 cement:4sand:8 graded crushed stone aggregate 40mm nominal size) and curing complete excluding cost of form work in foundation and plinth in all leads and lifts and to the enitre satisfaction of Engineer-in- charge.
Providing and laying RCC 1:2:4 ( 1cement:2sand:4 graded stone aggregate 20mm nominal size) and curing complete in thrust /anchor blocks of appropriate size as per approved design at suitable RD's site with in all leads and lifts as per direction of the Engineer Incharge alongwith fixing the pipe in position with anchor bolts, nuts etc. complete in all respect (reinforcement steel and form work to be paid for separatly) including entire carriage of materials upto all leads and lifts.

Providing , laying,jointing ( by way of circumfrential butt welded joints in three layers by electrical arc welding ) and testing of API pipe of following dia meters confirming to ISO 3183-2012, (latest with upto date amendments) having wall thickness and grade as specified below with bevelled ends and capable of withstanding required test pressure in a random length of 5 to 7 meters, including manufacturing reducers/ tapers , all short pieces, beds etc. as per site requirement made from parent tubes . The laying of pipe shall include all operation such as cutting, welding, jointing, fabrication of bends, tees etc. including lowering and laying in excavated trenches to ensure required level including flushing, cleaning and hydraulic testing complete in all respects to the satisfaction of the Engineer in charge. The fabricated bends shall have three or four cuts having its radius not less than five times the dia of pipe. The pipes shall be factory galvanized (zinc coating both inside and outside) as per IS:4736-1986 (with upto date ammendments). The welding electrodes shall be as per IS 814:2004 of Advani Oerlikon/ L&T or ISI marked make. Tollerence should be as per IS code. The rates also includes entire carriage of material, flushing, cleaning & hydraulic testing complete to the best satisfaction & direction of Engineer-in-charge with in all leads and lifts. (Earth work in trenches shall be measured and paid for separately). The design /drawing so approved by the competant authority after finalisation of design and drawing ,any variation in size of pipe , material ,pipe class ,wall thickness, jointing , valves,specials etc. (Refer to Technical specifications an data sheet No-6)

Providing, Laying ,jointing, with circumferential butt joints by electrical arc welding (Welding thickness shall be equal to pipe wall thickness) and testing of G.I Pipe of approved rate contract of DGS and D / HP Govt make of following diameter confirming to IS:1239:1990 (Part-ii) (latest with up to date amendments having wall thickness as specified below capable of withstanding required test pressure , including manufacturing and fabrication of reducers taper all shorts pieces, bends etc as per site requirement made from parent tubes. The laying of pipe shall also include flanged joints duly welded in three layer (one inner and two outer) Where ever required as per direction of Engineer in charge (Earth work in trenches and the cost of flanges I/C nut and bolts gasket will be measured and paid for separately) and all operation such as cutting welding and jointing fabrication of bends tees i.e lowering and laying in excavated trench to ensure required level including flushing cleaning and hydraulic testing complete in all respect to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer in charge. The fabricated bends shall have three or four cuts having its radius not less than five times the dia of pipe. The welding electrodes shall be as per IS 814 of Advani Overlikon/Over cord s/s make.The damaged portion of the pipe and all specials (if damaged during laying and jointing operation of pipe ) made from the parents tube shall be provided anticorrosive treatment by applying two coats of anticorrosive bituminous paints over a priming coat as per AWWA specification C-203-1978. The rates also includes entire carriage of material ,flushing, Cleaning and Hydraulic testing,DP test of butt welded joints complete in all respect and to the entire satisfaction of Engineer in charge with in all leads and lifts (Refer : Data sheet No-7)

S/E OF PUMPING MACHINARY :
Supply Installation Testing of star rated energy efficent pumpset of recommended make such as Mather and Platt/KSB/ Beacon Weir/Kirlosker/BE/Jyoti as per BIS 1520-1980 with upto date ammendments turbidity conforming to latest BIS code. The pump shall be fitted with single vane impeller of suitable alloy for handling raw water as per IS 5669-1970 having oil/grease packed bearings and stainless steel shaft, wound stator on motor side with shaft protection sleeves on pump side ensuring better life for shaft . The impeller of pump shall be directly mounted on extended submersible motor confirming to BIS 9238-1979 with up to date amendments,totally dust and weather proof with detach able pump casing for easy inspection with double mechanical seal, grease/ oil lubricated bearings and provided with stainless steel thrust bearing plate to withstand vertical loads with minimum wear and tear,It should be fitted with device to take up expanion of water on heating of motor & suitable for operation on 415 (+/- 15) volts 3 Phase 50 Hz frequency AC supply. The power of motor should be at least 10% in excess of maximum power required by the pump in complete operating range with mounting stand/ duck foot bend, steel guide wire with mounting hook, lowering chain and standard accessories as supplied by the manufacturers complete, suitable for fulfilling the site requirements. Pump sets shall be with 100% standby arrangement, with necessary piping, control panel with starter and protections; control valves of make Leader/Kirloskar/BHEL etc. alongwith electrical cable etc Complete job as per IPH specifications including all taxes, transportation, freight charges, inspection charges, loading, unloading, conveyance to Departmental stores/ site, stacking, etc. including specials and wastage etc.; complete as per Tender Specifications, technical data Sheets and instruction of Engineer in charge. Puming shall be supplied 4 sets ( 2 to act as standby) each capable of lifting 41.16 LPS discharge to a head of 50.79 Mtr. (Refer : Data Sheet No. 5)
Supply Installation Testing & Commissioning with automation (To be paid separately) of horizontal spindle,horizontal/redial split casing/end suction(Back-pull out arrangements) single/double/multi stage star-rated centrifugal pump or combination of pumps, of recommended make such as Mather and Platt/KSB/ Beacon Weir/Kirlosker/BE/Jyoti as per BIS 1520-1980 with upto date ammendments, read with IS:9137-1978 or latest edition suitable for lifting water for under mentioned characterestics with bronze, impellers/priming funnels, casing ring and shaft sleeves of bronze, shaft of steel grade 45C8/ EN8 with cast iron casing coupled directly through a flexible coupling on a common MS Base Plate to squirrel cage TEFC Energy efficient motors (Conforming to energy efficiency code IE2 or higher) of standard make such as Kirloskar /BHEL /CG POWER /Siemens /Jyoti /ABB /Marathon and suitable for operation on 415 (+/-15) volts, 50 Hz frequency, 3-phase AC electric supply. The power of electric motor/motors should be at +10% in excess of the maximum power required by the pump/pumps in the operation range of (+) 10% and (-)15% of the duty poiint head. The motor/motors as per ISI:325:1978 with upto date ammendments read with IS 900:1972. It should include cost of bearing nuts , bolts and painting etc. and should meet the following requirements: including Pump sets (working + standby ), necessary piping for suction, delivery & common header, alongwith electrical control panel with soft starters; as per requirement of pumping machinery; Complete work inclusive of all taxes,transportation, freight charges, inspection charges, loading, unloading, conveyance to Departmental stores / site, stacking, etc. including specials and wastage etc. It shall include providing and fixing of CI/CS Sluice valves of Kirloskar/Leader/BHEL make and of appropriate class to withstand the design pressure and complete as per Tender Specifications and instruction of Engineer in charge. if there is any variation in HP of pumping machinery due to variation of head after re-survey and design approval by the department then the rates shall be paid on prorata basis after approval of the competant authority. GASEOUS CHLORINATION SYSTEM : Supply, delivery, erection and commissioning of vaccum operated, pressure feed chlorination system capable to treat 7.45 MLD water (16 Hours pumping) i/c control panel, Chlorinator, interconnecting pipe line, field test kit, Monoblock pump, Chlorine leak detector, On-line chlorine analyser, Gas cylinder 100 kg 5 no's, gas tonner etc complete at WTP Site. Provision for online Quality Monitoring at storage reservoirs shall be provided. Plant room for installation of above equipments shall also be constructed at the site complete in all respect.The rates quoted by the contractor shall be for the complete work. All ancilliary works and accessories required to make the system fully functional shall be included in the cost of work. Nothing extra shall be paid on this account. (Refer : Data Sheet No. 9)
Construction of 5.0 m wide paved road from nearest PWD roads to Pump houses and WTP premises. Including cutting, paving, c/o side drain, retaining/breast wall etc. as per specifications given. In Item No 17
AUTOMATION : The tendered/firm shall provide two alternative proposals for automation ( Wired/Non wired) i.e. (i) To automize the entire scheme up to Main storage tank at shetadharThe plan of the whole scheme for automation is also to be prepared by the firm, the cost of which has been included in the relevant items. Provision of automation of complete project with main SCADA and control station at one treatment plant at Chaddi with remote access at Division & Sub Division office at Thunag. GSM based devices shall be installed at each tank of every stage which shall send messages through SCADA stations at two offices and five Mobile Numbers. This data transmission system at each tank of pump station consists of field instruments for providing digital and analog signals to data transfer module. This module will have a communication to web data transfer system module communication. The PLC station will have control station with programmable graphic process, mimics, real time and historical trending face plate and group display, alarm management and report with Laser Jet printers and required furniture. Installation of hardware along with commissioning/ programming as per user requirement shall be done. .The firm / contractor will provide the Bulk metering at Water Treatment Plants The automation of the entire scheme upto main storage tank shall also include the followingsa) At intake point :-Provision shall be kept for automatic flow measurement and flow control with quality measurement turbidity. b)Water Treatment Plant at Chaddi Khad:- Fully automatized operation including alum dosing and back washing and chlorination from inlet to out let along with automatic sensor for Turbidity,pH and Residual chlorined)Storage Water Tanks at lifting station:-Automatic Inlet and Out Let through single out flow pipe (common header),Low and high level sensor along with all required accessories.c)Leakage detection mechanism along with necessary relevant provisions complete in all respect be provided. A separate room of proper size for housing automation system shall be provided at each station. It should also include telecommunication comprising of required numbers of connections as per actual requirement at site. The automation system installed at above/aforesaid locations should be theft proof and proper ventilation arrangements be made complete in all respect to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in Charge . the firm/contactor shall submit complete proposal for automation and got approved from competent authority ,alone with presentation before award of project. g)The make of Sluice valve shall be Kriloskar/Leader/KSB. The makes for Electrical actuator for automatic valves shall be Marsh/Auma/Rotex . The make for PLC shall be Siemens/Allen Bradly. The make for ultra Sonic level sensors shall be ABB/Siemens/E&H/Fobes Mrshal. (Refer : Data sheet No. 10)
Trial run after complition of the work for a period of three months where where in the required labour & material shall be provided by the bidder and energy charges shall be born by the IPH Department during the trial run The scheme shall be run at the ultimate design water requirement for a minimum 90 days.
