Annual Electrical Maintenance Works at HWBF Colony, Talcher.

Checking of earthing, Split pin, check pin etc. in angle of safety point of view, rectification, replacement of a ceiing fan/ wall mounting fan/ exhaust fan including over all cleaning and replacement of spares etc.as where required.

Recording of individual energy meter reading of the colony quarter / public building & other occupants of the colony where HWP power supply is given & recording in the meter card & register (per month) as per checklist and updating of complaints in history book.

Attending complaint of failure of power supply or Repairing / replacement of defective components of quarter/ domestic Electrical system/ installation such as switch, socket, Holder, Fan, regulator, light points and no power supply to any installation.

Checking, testing, installing, repairing, replacing & maintenance of street light fittings & different components at a height above 4meter including attending the loose connection on the over head lines, jumper connection & attending the defects & restoring the same, service connection / dis-connection to quarters / installation after taking proper safety precaution. Maintenace solar of street lights on bimonthly basis including cleaning of solar modules is also covered.

Maintenance of earthpits and measurement of Earth resistance of Earth pits.

Replacement / fixing of ELCB of quarters including electrical connection or clearing of ELCB tripping fault so that it stands.

Quarterly maintenance of 11 KV/415V Transformers which involves Oil sample collection, replacement of Silica Gel, cleaning, measuring IR value and BDV test under department supervision.

Housekeeping of HT substation, LT substation at HWP colony by cleaning of floor & roof of entire room weekly including dust cleaning of outer body of panels and transformers.(supply of consumables by contractor.)

Checking of main distribution board, meter box, MCB DB staircase, cleaning (with prior permission),Checking of earthing, meter & seals with wiring connection of MCB and repairing, replacement of MCB, MCB DB, checking of ELCB, lighting pole box. (if necessary materials should be supplied by Department ).

Preventive maintenance of Power distribution Boards(PDBs) include cleaning of busbar, tightness checking, measuring IR value/ troubleshooting and rectification of faults in LT panels of substations, ACBs.

Wiring for with PVC insulated copper wire in 1" PVC conduit casing caping including fixing of casing caping(supply of cables, casing capping by dept) OR surface cable laying using saddles as reqd. upto 3 × 4.0 sq. mm inclusive of earth copper wire. (saddle, conduit at wall crossing are to be supplied by contractor)

Tree trimming from power line ( All branches of a single tree will be considered as one unit ) at distance of 1.50 mtrs

Stringing / restringing of over head line group of conductor (viz 3 wires, 4 wires, 6 wires etc), fixing of insulator, jumper including dismantling of overhead electrical materials if any.

Supply and applying of Paints on panels, Junction boxes with a coat of red oxide primer and two coat of high gloss enamel paint after proper surface preparation for which the contractor shall supply minimum 40litre of dark admiral gray color high gloss enamel paint, 20litre of Zink red peroxide primer, 5litre thinner

Supply and applying of Paints on MS tubular poles of height upto 10mtr with a coat of red oxide primer and Two coat of high gloss enamel aluminium paint after proper surface preparation without taking the support of electrical pole

Supply of 25W LED batten of Cool Day Light (6500K), lumen output : min. 2500 lm, Make Philips

Supply of 18- 24W Warm white decorative Surface Ceiling LED Light compatible for direct surface mount without false ceiling. Make: Philips, Jaquar, crompton

Supply of hot dip GI box of size upto 10" x 8" x2.5" and of 2 mm thick covered with required size phenolic laminated cover (3mm thick white in colour), minimum 4 rustproof screws.

Repairing of Single phase 230V, 50Hz home inverter of make Exide aginst mains fuse trip fault providing required components.

Replacement of geysers with suitable mounting and making necessary water piping connection by providing GI pipe/ SS braided pipes and as when required ( Only Geyser will be supplied by dept.) or internal tank cleaning of geyser by opening pipe line as where required.

Laying of 3 mm x 25 mm GI earthing strip (only GI strip will be supplied by dept. or covered in other item)

Supply and fixing of fabricated MS structure items as per requirement ( i.e. cross arm, lighting support etc). The structure should be painted with metal oxide primer and two coat of synthetic enamel paint.

Detection of fault in any quarter for no power supply(during night from 22:00 hr to 06:00hr) OR in PDBs & in its outgoing circuits OR detection of circuit fault in overhead line and their rectification.

Excavation of earth in all types of soil and back filling and ramming and leveling as per the direction of EIC for cable fault detection etc.

Providing river fine sand and filling in cable trench of substation.

Providing cement concrete 1:2:4 (1 cement, 2 sand, 4 graded stone aggreegate of 20 mm nominal size.)

Supply and fixing of Geyser spares as and when required

Supply of 2KW water heater geyser Thermostat or Thermal cut off relay, ISI marked as per sample provided as and when required.

Supply of 2KW water heater geyser coil, ISI marked as per sample provided as when required.

Supply of Exhaust fan with following specification: Rating: 45W, 230V, Sweep : 300mm, Speed :1400 RPM, Air Delivery (Cu.mtr/hr): minimum 850 metal blade, double bearing, Make: CG/ Almonard/ Havells. 2 years warranty shall be provided.

Installation of exhaust fan with wire connection including cutting of wall as required and making the wall as good as before including necessary electrical connection in the ceiling rose, supply and fixing of painted/GI Wire mesh on outer side of wall as screen guard. (Supply of Exhaust Fan is covered in other item)

Supply of 8nos. AA rechargeable 1300mAh NiMh Duracell batteries and a 4 hours Battery Charger of duracell CEF14

CABLE LAYING : Laying of PVC / XLPE armoured / un armoured 3 or 4 core at depth 900 mm with brick supporting at side & top. Work involves cutting of trench, Backfilling, ramming etc.
