Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator)/ manual means in over areas/foundations in hard rock (blasting prohibited) by chiseling, wedging, diamond wire rope cutting or any other approved method upto the depths specified below including including dewatering if necessary, dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soils as directed, within a distance of 50 m etc.,including clearing of all areas of all grass, rank vegetation, shrubs, bushes, trees upto 300mm girth measured 1.00 metre above ground level etc complete as directed by Engineer-incharge.
a) Upto 1.50 m depth from average ground level.
b) Above 1.50 m to 3.00 m depth from average ground level.
Filling available excavated earth (excluding rock) in trenches, plinth, sides of foundations etc. in layers not exceeding 20cm in depth, consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering, lead within NFC complete as specified and directed by EIC
Lead charges for for all leads within NFC premises by mechanical transport, including loading, unloading, stacking, the disposable soil, rock etc. Note: Measurement of lead charges will be based on truck measurement with a deduction of voids @20% and 50% for soils and rock or debris respectively.
Plain Cement Concrete (P.C.C) 1:3:6 by insitu mixing using Weigh Batching or RMC using Ordinary Portland Cement(OPC) conforming to IS 269 or Portland Pozzolana Cement (PPC) conforming to IS 1489 Part-1 with Minimum Cementitious Content not less than 250 Kg/Cum (M/s. ACC,Ultra Tech, Raasi, Birla, Coromandal, Andhra Cements Ltd. make) with crushed stone sand and graded stone aggregates of 20mm maximum size at all depths/heights below/above plinth level including consolidation, finishing smooth/broom finish as applicable, curing, etc., but excluding Formwork, complete as specified and directed by EIC

Reinforced Cement Concrete by insitu mixing using Weigh Batching or approved RMC of Grade M - 25 (Minimum Cementitious Content not less than 340 Kg/Cum) at all depths/heights below/above plinth level using using Ordinary Portland Cement(OPC) conforming to IS 269 or Portland Pozzolana Cement (PPC) conforming to IS 1489 Part-1 (M/s. ACC,Ultra Tech, Raasi, Birla, Coromandal, Andhra Cements Ltd. make) with crushed stone sand and graded stone aggregates of 20mm maximum size including mixing superplasticizer of brand M/s. FOSROC ,SIKA,BASF,CICO in proportion as per Manufacturer's Specifications, Pumping / Lifting of concrete to the required heights, Concrete laid to proper level, profile and slope, placing concrete, consolidation, finishing, curing, etc., but excluding Formwork and reinforcement as specified and directed by EIC
Providing grouting (including tamping) for foundations, structures, equipments, base plates, anchor holes, etc., with non-shrink, free flow grout of shrinkhomp-30N/Sqmm of M/S A.C.C, Fosroc or equivalent mixed with filler like sand in 1:1, including shuttering wherever necessary at and at all depths and heights below and above plinth level complete as specified and directed. note: Weight of grout used in the work will be measured for payment. However, the rate quoted shall inclusive of all materials.
Providing centering and shuttering using good quality densified film-faced Plywood of at least 12mm thick approved make conforming to IS 4990 so as to produce neat form finished concrete surfaces, with steel staging system formwork (Doka/L&T/RMD/Paschal/PERI/MEVA/MIVAN system or any other approved by EIC) will have to be used for all structural elements, including strutting and propping etc. at all levels / heights and removal of the same and including sealing the form joints suitably to avoid fins and abrupt irregularities, etc.complete all as per drawings and specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
Supply, fabrication and erection of Reinforcement bars for Reinforced cement concrete items at and at all depths and heights below and above plinth level Thermo-Mechanically Treated bars of grade Fe-500D or more conforming to IS 1786 of Tata, Vizag steel, Sail, JSW, JSPL make, including transport to site, loading and unloading, making fan hooks of required shape, dowels for bonding masonry, transporting steel to site, decoiling, removing of scales, straightening, cutting, bending, fixing bars with chairs, space bars wherever required, in position with two strings of 18 gauge soft drawn annealed MS binding wire inclusive of its supply etc., complete as specified and as per direction of Engineer- in-Charge.
Sand balsting of structural steel works comprising steel sections like angles, channels, joist, plates etc. using compressed air at required pressures for cleaning the surfaces before application of primer, arranging necessary barricades, enclosure, machinery etc., complete as specified and directed by EIC NOTE: Only the structural steel sections used in the work will be measured for payment.
Supply, Fabrication and erection of Structural Steel work using rolled steel joists, angles, channels, plates, etc. including cutting, hoisting, fixing of M/s. Tata, Vizag Steel, JSW, SAIL of strength not less than Grade E 250 IS-2062:2011 including providing Bolts and Nuts and other accessories wherever required, arc welding with electrodes conforming to IS 814 of make Advani, D&H, Philips, surface preparation by cleaning with wire brush etc., providing two coats of epoxy zinch rich primer on steel surface of make Fosroc (Nitozinc primer)/Asian/Berger and two coats of corrosion and UV resistant polyureathe coating of Make Fosroc ( Dekguard PU)/Asian/Berger or approved equivalent, including all tools, spraying machine, etc., erecting members using suitable cranes/jigs/pulleys in line , level, plumb etc., complete as specified and directed by EIC
Foundation Bolts: Supplying, fabricating, erecting and fixing in position, foundation bolts using MS rounds conforming to IS 432 (Mild Steel Bars Grade – I)/ IS 1875 and suitable nuts including threading, placing in position in concrete in level using template, providing grease and protective cover like covering with polyethelene sheet to bolts and nuts to correct levels Complete and as directed by EIC
Providing and laying 60mm thick factory made cement concrete interlocking paver block of M-30 grade made by block making machine with strong vibratory compaction, of approved size, design & shape, laid in required colour and pattern over and including 50mm thick compacted bed of coarse sand, filling the joints with fine sand etc. all complete as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge
Providing and laying at or near ground level factory made kerb stone of M-25 grade cement concrete in position to the required line, level and curvature, jointed with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement: 3 coarse sand), including making joints with or without grooves (thickness of joints except at sharp curve shall not to more than 5mm), including making drainage opening wherever required complete including two coats of approved primer and two coats of ready mix paint as per IS 164 etc. as per direction of Engineer-in-charge (length of finished kerb edging shall be measured for payment). (Precast C.C. kerb stone shall be approved by Engineer-in-charge).
Dismantling very carefully the existing reinforced/plain cement concrete at all depths and heights below and above plinth level using pneumatic cutters or any approved means including cutting the reinforcement and transporting bars to departmental stores disposing the debris within the lead of 50 m complete as specified and directed by EIC
Demolishing pitching/soling/paver blocks/kerb stones in roads, floors, drains etc. including stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material within 50 metres lead
Dismantling bituminous road manually/ by mechanical means including stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer-in-charge
Dismantling very carefully the existing RR / brick masonry in basement below/above FFL at all depths and heights including erection of suitable scaffolding, stacking of useful materials and disposing the the unserviceable debris within the lead of 50m etc., complete as specified and directed by EIC
Dismantling very carefully the existing structural steel work at all levels in MS structural sections like angles, channels, MS plain/chequered plates, flats, tubular gates etc., including scaffolding, cutting of structural steel members by gas cutters or by any approved method, removing the nuts, bolts etc., as required, lowering stacking the reusable material at site and transporting the material to Departmental stores etc., complete as directed by EIC
