12 Defect Liability : As per Tender Condition
Whenever a work is allotted by Engineering staff,
whether minor or major of part thereof of any amount,
Time permitted to start parts of the contractor shall be bound to start the works within
work hours of intimation of work. Communication done
telephonically via SMS, Via Whatsapp and through
letter / E-mail shall be considered legal and binding for
the same. Failure of comply to start the works in
hours of intimation as above by contractor the contractor
shall be levied penalty of (1) Rs.1000/- per day (for
tenders amounting upto 10 Lakhs), (2) Rs.2500 per day
(for tenders amounting above 10 Lakhs and upto
Lakhs), (3) Rs.5000 per day (for all tenders amounting
above 30 Lakhs). Three times failures by contractor shall
make contractor responsible to be black listed unless and
otherwise justified properly in writing / binding within
15 days of last notice of penalty.

2. AssessmentofSubmission
The Employer will open the technical bid of physically submitted document of all the
bidsreceived for the package (except those received late) containing the sealed Tender
volumeandother enclosuresthenannounce thenames
ofbiddersinthepresenceofbiddersortheirrepresentativeswhochoosetoattendonthedateandtimementi
onedintheNITIntheeventofspecified dateofbidopening being declared as aholiday for the
Employer,theTenderwillbeopenedattheappointedtimeandlocationonthenextworkingday.
In Physical submission, Bidders detailed and tender fee, E.M.D. shall be opened first.
TheEmployer at the opening will announce bidder’s names, , the presence/or absence of
EMD,the amount andvalidity ofEMD furnishedwith eachbid,isvalidregistration andsuchother
details,astheEmployermayconsiderappropriate.
TheEmployerwilldeterminewhetherthebidisaccompaniedbytherequiredEMD.
IftheEMDfurnisheddoesnotconformtotheamountandvalidityperiodasspecifiedintheInvitationfor
Bid and has not been furnished in theform,the bid shallbe rejected bytheEmployerasnon-
responsiveandtheTendervolumewillbereturnedtothebidder.
SubjecttoconfirmationoftheEMDbytheissuingbank,theTendervolumeaccompaniedwithvalid
EMDwillbetakenupforfurtherevaluation.Incase,theBankdoes not confirmtheEMD, thebid shall be
rejected as non-responsive and no furtherevaluation carried out.
Thetendervolumewillfurtherbeexaminedtodeterminewhetherthebidhasbeenproperlysigned,m

3. EvaluationandComparisonofTendervolume
TheEmployerwillevaluateandcompareonlythoseTendervolumeswhicharedetermined to be
substantially responsivein accordance with Clause 2 and qualified
forawardofContractinaccordancewithClause5(GeneralTermsandCondition).
4. ProcedureforTenderOpening
Received copies of tender in physical form with in schedule time, will be open on
scheduledate and time. In the event of specified date of bid opening being declared bidders
whoqualifythecriteriathenbidderbidwillbeconsideredforopeningofpricebid.
The Employer will award the Contract to the bidder whose bid has been determined to
besubstantiallyresponsivetothebiddingdocumentsandwhohasofferedthelowestEvaluated Bid
Price, provided that such bidder has been determined to be (i) eligible
inaccordancewiththeprovisionsofClause3(GeneralTermsandCondition);and(ii)qualifiedinaccorda
ncewiththeprovisionsofClause5(GeneralTermsandCondition).
6. NotificationofAward
Prior to expiration of the period of bid validity prescribed by the Employer, the
Employerwillnotifythesuccessfulbidderbycable/faxandconfirmedbyregisteredletterthathisbid has
been accepted. This letter shall name the sum which the Employer will pay theContractor in
consideration of the execution, completion and maintenance of the Works bytheContractor
asprescribedbytheContract.
ThenotificationofawardwillconstitutetheformationoftheContract.
7. A successful Bidder has to deposit security deposit / Bank Guarantee as per Circular
afterreceiving letterofIndent.Timelimitofworkwill commencefromthedateof
issueofworkorder.
8. ClarificationofBids
To assist in the examination, evaluation and comparison of bids, the Employer may, at
hisdiscretion,askanybidderforauthenticationthecorrectnessoftheinformation/detailsfurnishedbyhi
minhisbid.SuchrequestbytheEmployerandtheresponsebybiddershallbeinwritingorbycable/fax.
Subject to aboveclause,nobiddersshall contact theEmployer onany matter relating
tohisbidfromthetimeofbidopeningtothetimecontractisawarded.
Any effort by the bidder to influence the Employer in the Employer’s bid evaluation,
bidcomparisonorcontractawarddecisionsmayresultintherejectionofhisbid.
Information relating to the examination,clarification,evaluation and comparison ofbidsand
recommendations for the award of a contract shall not be disclosed to bidders or anyother
persons not officially concerned with such process until the award to the
successfulbidderhasbeenannounced.AnyeffortbyabiddertoinfluencetheEmployer'sprocessingofbi
dsor awarddecisionsmayresultintherejectionofhisbid.

Each bidder shall submitonly onebidpercontractpackage either by himselfor as apartner in a
joint venture. A bidder who submits or participates in more than one bid for

7. BiddingDocuments
Thebidder isexpectedtoexaminecarefully thecontentsofalltheabovebiddocuments.Failures to
comply with the requirements of bid documents will be at the bidder's own risk.Pursuant to
Clause 16, bids which are not substantially responsive to the requirements of thebidding
documentswillberejected.
8. LanguageofBid
Thebid,andallcorrespondence anddocuments relatedto thebidexchangedbetweenthebidder and the
Employer shall be written in the English language. Supporting documents
andprintedliteraturefurnishedbythebiddermaybeinanotherlanguageprovidedtheyareaccompanied
by an accurate translation ofthe relevant passages in the English
language,inwhichcase,forpurposesofinterpretationofthebid,theEnglishtranslationshallprevail.
Unless stated otherwisein thebidding documents, the Contract shall be for the

Inexceptionalcircumstances,priortoexpiryoftheoriginalbidvalidityperiod,theEmployermayre
questthebidderstoextendtheperiodofvalidityforaspecifiedadditionalperiod.Therequestandthe
responsestheretoshallbemadeinwritingorbyfax. A bidder may refuse the request without
forfeiting his bidder agreeing to the requestwill not be required or permitted to modify his

12. DeadlineforSubmissionofBids
BidsmustbereceivedbytheEmployerattheaddressspecifiedabovenotlaterthanthetimeanddatespecifi

dulentpracticesincompetingforthecontract,orduringexecution.

do so,by misusing theposition in which they areplaced,and it includes the

“fraudulentpractice”meansamisrepresentationoffactsinordertoinfluenceaProcurement

If Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation is convinced that the Bidder has resorted to
materialmisrepresentation or provided fraudulent information / statement, the said Bidder
will beliablefordisqualification/rejectionatanystage.

19. AdministrativeConditions:-
SafetyandSignage
Contractor has toarrange for the completesafety ofthepersons working for project, usersof the
road i.e. public and vehicles also. All the arrangements of traffic drums, metal / fibercones,
traffic blinkers, traffic signs as per design, safety tapes etc. to be arranged at site.Necessary
florescent marking on traffic signs to be provided so that it should be visible
atnight.Duringnightworkinghourssafetyinchargepersonnelshallbeprovidedwithflorescent
jackets. This shall be Provided at no extra cost by the bidder under
attachéwithspecifiedinthetenderdocumentsunderpayableiteme.
LiaisonwithlocalauthorityforelectricalconnectionsfortheAMC
Thecontractorisresponsibleforliaisonwithlocalauthorityforchangeinsupplyconnectionornewco
nnectiononbehalfofAMC.ItincludesfillingthenecessaryapplicationtopowerSupplyCompany,fo
llowupandgettingthesupply,fillingthenecessary test reports to the power supply company. All
official fees including
securitydepositsandotherexpensesshallbeofinitiallypaidbythecontractor.AMCmaysupportto
get the temporary connection and may at its diseretien get the same converted
topermanent connection at thesameofAMC if desired do,and contractorshallas noextra

20:-CONTINGENTFEE:
The Contractor warrants that he has not employed any person to solicit or secure
thecontractuponanyagreementfora commission,percentage,brokerage orcontingentfee.
Breach of this warranty shall give the Municipal Commissioner the right to cancelthe
contract or to take any other measure as the Municipal Commissioner may deem
fit.Thewarranty doesnotapply tocommissionspayableby
thecontractortoestablishcommercialorselling agentforthepurposeofsecuringbusiness.
No officer, employer of theMunicipal Corporation beadmitted to any share or part
ofthiscontractortoanybenefitthatmayrisetherefrom.
21:-OVERPAYMENTANDUNDERPAYMENT:
Whenever any claim fourths payment of a sum to the Municipal Corporation arises
outoforunderthisContractagainstthecontractorthesamemaybedeductedbytheMunicipalCorpo
rationfromanysumthendueorwhichatanytimethereaftermaybecome due to the contractor
under this contract and failing that under anyother contractwith the Municipal Corporation
or from any sum due to the contractor with the MunicipalCorporation (which may be
available with MunicipalCorporation), or from his
retentionmoney,orheshallpaytheclaimondemand.TheMunicipalCorporationreservestherightt
ocarryoutpostpaymentauditandtechnicalexaminationofthefinalbillincludingallsupportingvou
chers,abstracts,etc.
TheMunicipalCorporation further reserves the rightto enforcerecovery ofany overpayment
when detected not withstanding the fact that the amount of the final bill may beincludedby
If as a result of such audit and technical examination any over payment isdiscovered
inrespectof any work doneby theContractor or alleged to have beendone by
himunderthecontract,it shall berecovered by theMunicipalCorporation fromthe contractor
byway of all the means prescribed above or ifany under payment is discovered by
theMunicipal Corporation, any amount due to the contractor under this contract or
underpaymentmaybeadjustedagainstanyamountthendueorwhichmayatanytimethereafterbeco
meduebeforepaymentismadetothecontractorfromhimtotheMunicipalCorporationonanyother
contractaccountwhatsoever.
If, at any time, there should be evidence of any lien or claim for which ownermight
havebecome liable and which is chargeable to the contractor, the owner shall have the right
toretain out of anypayment then due or thereafter tobecome due an amount sufficient
tocompletely indemnify theowner againstsuchlien or claimor if suchlienor claimbevalid
theowner may be orbecomedueand payableto thecontractor.Ifany lien
orclaimsremaining,unsettledafter all payments aremade,thecontractorshallrefundorpay to

14. SpecialmodesoftheconstructionnotadoptedingeneralEngineeringpractice,ifproposed to be
adopted by the contractor shall be considered only if the contractor providedsatisfactory
evidence that such special mode of construction and completion of work to therequired strength
and quality. Acceptance of the same by the Engineer in charge shall nothowever,absolve the
contractor from theresponsibility of any adverseeffect and
concordanceofadoptingthesameinthecourseofexactionorcompletionofthework.
15. The contractor shall be responsible for observing the rules and regulation imposed under
the"MinorMineralAct",andsuchotherlawsandrulesprescribedbytheGovernmentfromtimetotime.
16. All necessary safety measures and precautions (incl. those laid down in the
variousrelevant Indian Standard) shall be taken to engrave the safety ofmen, materials and
machineryontheworkandalso oftheworkitself.
17. Quantity measured in the tender is approximate. It may increase or decrease looking
tothequantumofactualworkforwhichnoanyclaimshallbeentertainedbyA.M.C.

28. Water Supply: The contractor shall arrange at his own cost, a suitable supply of

thecosts where applicable of connection, meter installation, water consumed, water required

29. Electricity: Electric supply will be made available at the site by the Contractor and
thecontractormustmakehisownarrangementswiththeCorporationandElectricitySupplyAuthoritiesa
nd with other contractorsto connect and to takeasupply from such services,paying
allcostsinconnection therewith.
The Contractor shall be entitled to use supply Electricity as may be available on the site
forpurposeoftheworkandshallpaysuchchargesasisfixedbytheappropriatesupplyAuthorities.
In casethereis any delay in supply ofpower siteof any interruption or fault in thepowerduring the
work. No compensation shall be paid for idle labor staff, machineries and for use ofdiesel
operatingsets etc.asthecasemaybe.
30. Tendersshallsubmitallthevalid/certifieddocumentsinsupportoftheirinitial/eligibility
criteria mentioned abovealong with thebid.They shall havealso to
submittheincometaxclearancecertificateandsolvencycertificate.
31. No advance such as secured advance machinery advance, mobilization advance or
materialsadvancewillbegiven.

The pipe shall be of best quality stoneware pipes. The pipes shall be of approved qualitymake
and shall be brought on site after approval. (The pipes shall be laid in grade as
perinstruction.)Contractorshall havetoprocurebillsforstandardpipes.
The joints shall be done in cement proportion 1:1 (1 part cement: 1 part sand) using spun yarndipped in
hot asphalt and caulking tools. The hydraulic pressure test shall be given to thecontractor for testing pipes

rail. The depth of the excavation and invert of thesewer shall be checked by means of boning road of

Where trenches are deep in bad grounds the sides shall be supported by suitabletimbering of
shorting work looking to the nature of the soil near big or important structure, thesides of the trenches
shall be closely and securely timbered, if any settlement of the buildings inanticipated the timbering shall
be left in the ground. The various materials excavated shall beseparately stacked so that in refilling that
may be relayed on the same order as before and leastpossible damage shall be done carpet on the public
roads and private properties. Surfacecovering consisting of asphalt carpet shall be kept on side and
preserved for reinstatement. Theexcavated earth shall not be heaped near the trenches so as to caused
unnecessary obstructionalong the trenches during inspection trenches etc. shall be tunneled under only as
necessary.The side of the trenches shall be nearly vertical and plumb and red light shall be placed at
eachend at intervals and instructions and further protected by rope fence. Necessary caution
boardsshallalsobe createdandasdirectedbytheengineerincharge.
Wherever possible material excavated from the trenches of whatever kind shall not
beplacednearerthanthreemetersfromtheouteredgeoftheexcavatedtrenches.Theutmostshallhave to be taken
in refilling the trenches so that no damage may be done no sewer, no lumpshall be allowed to be put
around the sewer. The ramming of the filling shall be done and wellwatered.
The surplus earth shall be removed directed within 30 meters lead. The measurementsof the work
shall be exact length and width of the trenches as specified or as per City Engineerinstruction and depth
shall be measured vertical as per section up to invert or the pipeline. TheCity Engineer reserves the right
of extra excavation on either side if considers necessary for thesafetyofthework.
The bottom and sides of the trench shall be dressed in level and plumb in all directedbefore any
concrete is in dia. In case the excavation is done deeper than required no filling shallbe allowed to bring
the formation to proper level but contractor shall have to lay cement or
limeconcreteoffilingorotheracceptablematerialsasdirectedbytheCityEngineeratcontractorowncost so as to
come to proper formation. In case bad formations are met with the work shall haveto be done as per
instruction of City Engineer. Necessary arrangements for watering trenchesmust be provided by
contractor and without proper watering trenches will not be allowed to befiled to further Contractor shall
have to make arrangement for access to invert of the sewer andfor inspection of the work as ordered by
the engineer. If it is required to shift or after thealignment section of diameter of the pipe the contractor
shall carry out the altered work at therates quoted by him for the original work for items and contractor
shall not claim any expensesduetothe changesmade.
In no case work shall be done at night or no Sundays & other holidays and during
therecesstimeexceptinandotherholidaythecaseofbadgroundssuchasrunningsandwherethework must be
executed vigorous day night without interruption when so ordered by the engineer.All existing water pipe
storm drains sewer line railway track, electric cables etc. which do not inthe opinion of engineer required
to be changed in location shall be supported and protected frominjury by the contractor. The contractor
shall be liable to pay all damages to water-pipe, drainselectric and telephone cable and to private property
during the execution of this contract and thesame will be recovered from the running bills or the deposit of
work change location of anyexisting sewers drains etc. not otherwise from in these specification the
contractor shall do thework of making such change and the work shall be paid for as extra work. All
places utility etc.shallbekept accessibleforuse.
No extra payment shall be made for land sides and side stops done without prior approval of
theengineerincharge.

A layer of mortar shall be spread on full width for suitable length of the lower course. Each brickshall first
be properly bedded and set home by gently tapping with handle of trowel or
woodenmallet.Itsidefaceshallbeflushedwithmortarbeforethenextbrickislaidandpressedagainst
it.Oncopletionofcourse,theverticaljointsshallbefullyfilledformthetopwithmortar.

The brick shall be laid with frog upwards. A set of tools comprising of wooden straight edges,mason’s
sprit level, square half meter rub, and pins, string and plumb shall be kept on the site ofworkforfrequent
checkingduringtheprogressofwork.
Both the faces of walls of thickness greater than 23 cms shall be kept in proper place. All
theconnectedbrickworkshallbekeptnotmorethanonemeterovertherestofthework.Wherethisis not possible,
the work shall be raked back according to bond (and not left toothed) at an anglenot steeperthan45degrees.
All fixtures, pipes, outlets of water, hold fasts of doors and windows etc. which are required to
bebuiltinwallshallbeembeddedincement mortar.
Bricks shall be so laid that all joints are quite flush with mortar. Thickness of joins shall notexceed
mm. The face joints shall be raked out as directed by taking tools daily during theprogress of work, when
the mortar is still green so as to provide key for plaster or pointing todone.
The face of brick shall be cleaned the very day on which the brick work is laid and all
mortardroppingremoved.
Green work shall be protected from rain suitably. Masonry work shall be kept moist on all thefaces for a
period seven days. The top of masonry work shall be kept well wetted at the close oftheday

If the foundation is to be laid directly on the excavated bed, the bed shall be leveled, cleared ofall loose

ApplicationsofPlaster:
Theplasterabout15x15cms.Shallbefirstappliedhorizontallyandverticallyat notmorethan2metre intervals

plastered surface. The mortar shall then be applied in uniformsurface slightly more than the specified
thickness, then brought to a true surface by working

the surface shall be finished off true with a trowel or wooden float according as asmooth or a sandy

In suspending the work at the end of the day, the plaster shall be left out clean to the line bothhorizontally
and vertically. When recommending the plaster, the edges of the old work shall bescraped clean and
wetted with cement putty before plaster is applied to the adjacent area toenable the two to properly joint

PlacingofReinforcement:
Allreinforcingbarsshallbeaccuratelyplacedintheexactpositionshownonthedrawings, and shall be
securely held in position during placing of concrete by annealed bindingwire not less than 1 mm in size
and conforming to IS:280 and by using stays blocks or metalchairs, spacer, metal hangers, supporting
wires or other approved devices at sufficiently closeintervals. Bars will not be allowed to sag between
supports nor displaced during concreting orany other operation over the work. All devices used for
positioning shall be of non-corrodiblematerial. Wooden and metal supports will not extend to the surface
of concrete, except

To protect reinforcement from corrosion, concrete cover shall be provided as indicatedon the
drawings. All bars protruding from concrete to which other bars are to be spliced andwhich are likely to
be exposed for an indefinite period shall be protected by a thick coat of neatcement grout.
In the case of columns and walls, vertical bars shall be kept in normal position
withtimbertemplateshavingslotsaccuratelycutinforbarposition.Suchtemplatesshallberemovedaftertheconcr
eting hasprogresseduptoaleveljustbelowthem.
Barscrossingeachother,whererequired,shallbesecuredbybindingwire(annealed)ofsize not less than
1 mm and conforming to IS;280 in such a manner that they do not slip overeach other at the time of fixing

WeldingofTMTbarscanbepermittedifspecifiedonthedrawings,jointsofreinforcement bars shall be
butt welded so as to transit their full strength. Welded joints shallpreferably be located at points where
steel will not be subject to more than 75 percent of
themaximumpermissiblestressesandweldssostaggeredthatatanyonesection,notmorethan
33 per cent of the rods are welded. No –pre-warning or post heat treatment is necessary.Interpass
temperature should be limited to 200º C with low heat input and equivalent strength lowhydrogen type
electrode. Suitable means shall be provided for holding the bars securely inposition during welding. It
must be ensured that no voids are left in welding and when welding isdone in 2 or 3 stages, previous

the engineer-in-charge. It shall carried out on a water tight platformand care shall be taken to ensure that

The metal shall be screened of any rubbish, dust or grass. Then metal shall be laiduniformly in
two layers of 50 mm each, to the required grade and camber as directed by theEngineer in charge.
Laying of metal shall be started after theconsolidatingsoling layersprepared perfectly to the proper line
level and camber. Where camber of soling is founddoubtful it shall be corrected prior to spreading metal.
Metal filled in the basket shall be spreadevenly in required number of layers as directed. Metal shall be
spread in proper grade andcamber if required using camber boards, so as to ensure the corrected surface.
The surfaceshall be checked at every 15 mts. by means of template and string for correctness of
thecamber. The consolidation of metal shall be done by the contractor with a minimum 8 to 10 Troller.
The contractor shall provide required number of labors at the time of rolling to rectify theundulation that
might have occurred during rolling.To carryout grouting of the above said 50mm thick metalling coat
the contractor shall bring all the required equipment and materials asdirected. Bitumen of VG10 grade
penetration of approved quality heated to a temperature ofabout 150 C. and shall be applied hot by
means of a sprayer uniformly over the surface at therate of 1.5 kg./sq. mt. up to the satisfaction of
Engineer in charge. Immediately following theapplication of bitumen and while it is still hot second
layer of metal shall be spread in properthickness and again application of bitumen at the rate of
kg./sq. mt. as above for secondlayer shall be done. Key aggregate of as specified in below table and of
approved quality shallbe evenly spread out at rate of 0.013 cum. per sq. mt. After spreading the chipping
the wholearea shall be rolled over thoroughly with a 8 T to 10 T. roller It is important that the

During the period between the initial compaction of coarse aggregateand

GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS
Name of Work :- Providing , laying,upgrading systematic new
drainage lines in Mishri Lal ni Chali, Bhavaji ni Chali, Maganji ni
Chali and other places in Sabarmati Ward of West Zone.
(1) The work shall be completed within 12 Months.
(2) The contractor shall be remain responsible for Workmen’s compensation if any when such case
occurs. The contractor shall arrange formed iampasant night and fencing and pagi and shall be
responsible for any damage of life and limb or property if any happen, during the execution of work.
In case of dispute for unseen or overlooked items the decision of the city Engineer shall be final.
The contractor shall have to give site clean of all rubbish on completion of work and have over the
building with final finishing of the work as directed. All the rejected materials shall be removed
from site within 24 hours by contractor at this rsk and cost.
(3) For mixing mortar either for masonry or for plaster or for any other purpose contractor shall have to
prepare through of bigger size and mix the mortar in the required proportion. In on case he shall be
allowed to mix the mortar either on floor or any finished surfaces.
(4) The contractor shall have to make his own arrangement for water required for the work and shall
pay the water charges as per water meter.
(5) If any extra item crops up during the progress of work the same shall be carried out by the
contractor and he shall be paid at the rate fixed by C.E. as per the rate analysis based on current
(6) If in the interest of the Corporation it is necessary to change either any site or the design of the
propose work the contractor shall carry out the same at his quoted rates without charges any extra
and the contractor will have to carry out the works and he will be paid at the rate quoted by him and

(7) Retetion money at the rate of 2% shall be deducted from every running bill of the contractor and

(8) The tender for the work shall remain open for a period (120) days from the date of opening of the
tenders for this work and that the tenderer shall not be allowed to withdraw on modify the offer on
his own during the period. If any tenderer withdraw or makes any modifications (s) or addition (s) in
the terms and conditions of his tender not acceptable to the Municipal Corporation the Municipal
Corporation shall without prejudice to any right or remedy be at liberty to forfeit in full the said
earnest money absolutely.
(9) As per Circular No. MCR 2176 (96) 2418 (ii) GHH dated 31-03-77 issued by Government of
Gujarat contractors are requested to produce their quarry materials for construction work through
legal sources. i.e. only form the quarry lease holders, permit holder or middle man who satisfies the
contractor as to the legality of the source of purchase by him on these materials.
(10) If the work is not carried out within the specified time limit in clause no.1 the penalty of 0.1 % per
day of remaining work after Stipulated time limit and maximum 10% of remaining work for
the entire period of delay shall be recovered from the immediate bills payable to the contractor.
(11) Contractor has to make his own arrangement for procurement of steel and cement.

Clause : 1 Contractor shall not employ any child having age 5 to 15 years as it is prohibited by Child Labour Prohibition and
Regulation Act 1986. Hon'ble Supreme Court has given certain guide lines and as per the guide lines. If child labour is
employed on the site work, the contractor shall have to deposit Rs. 20,000.00 (Rupees Tw enty thousand only) in the child
labour welfare fund. If the employer refuses to deposit then action will be taken for contempt of Supreme Court Judgement and
also will be prosecuted by concerned authority. Because of the breach of any provision of child labour prohibition and
regulation Act 1986 by the Contractor & Municipal Corporation becomes liable to pay any amount then the Municipal
Corporation shall recover the said amount from the contractor.
Clause : 2 The Standing Committee has decided to deduct 1/2% amount from each running bill as per its Reso. No. 1783 Date
06--02-97, but the Municipal Corporation Board has recently decided that the actual testing charge is taken and the remaining
amount is refundable at the time of final bill (As per Muni. Board Reso. No. 123 dated 25-02-97)
Clause : 3 Contractor has to follow prevailing Labour act and has to maintain labour register acordingly,and has to follow other

Modification of specifications and correction/corrigendum in respect of the work if required will be made by A.M.C. The same
shall be placed on A.M.C website which may be downloaded by the tendrers enclosed along with the tender duly signed. These
shall form a part of tender. The tenderer shall not add or amend the text of any of the documents except in so far as may be
necessary to comply with any addendum.
* ADDENDAUM/CORRIGENDUM .
Addendum or corrigendum conveying any change or correction in respect of the work shall form the part of the contract
documents. The full consideration shall be given to such addendum or corrigendum or correction before submission tender duly
filled in by the contractor. Therefore, the contractor shall have to watch such addendum or corrigendum or correction published
by A.M.C through its website www.egovamc.com. Tenderes shall verify the number of addendum issued and enclose the same
with the tender documents,failing which the tender shall be liable for rejection and no any complaint in respect to this shall be
entertained under any circumstances.
