Providing all tools, tackels, manpower, machinary for Removing and re-installation of PVC/HDPE water tanks of 500 Liter capacity including making all necessary arrangement like water draining, disconnection of exisitng GI lines, re-connection of lines as per actual after re-installation of tank, cleaning of tank after installation with coconut brushes, duster etc., removal of silt, rubbish from the tank and cleaning the tank with fresh water disinfecting with bleaching powder @ 0.5gm per litre capacity of tank etc. complete as per the specification and as directed by EIC. Note: 1. If during above job any GI fittings or ball cock is damaged that is to be repaired by contractor at his own cost (irrespective of their conditions) and nothing extra will be paid on this account), Failure to comply the above, department will arrange to repair the above by any other mean and penal recovery of Rs. 500/- will be deducted for each such failure from the bill due to the department. 2. During the maintenance of PVC tank platform area, contractor has to do all necessary arrangements to keep the water supply continue in House in proper hygiene manner. All this should be inclusive while quoting the rates and nothing extra will be provided on this account.
Dismantling old plaster or skirting raking out joints and cleaning the surface for plaster at all height including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground at all lead, lift etc. complete as per the specifications and as directed by EIC.
Providing and laying water proofing treatment to vertical and horizontal surfaces of sunken & ventilation portion and the like consisting of: (i) 1st course of applying cement slurry @ 4.4 kg/sqm mixed with water proofing compound conforming to IS 2645 in recommended proportions including rounding off junction of vertical and horizontal surface. (ii) 2nd course of 12 mm cement plaster 1:4 (1 cement : 4 Fine sand) mixed with water proofing compound in recommended proportion including rounding off junction of vertical and horizontal surface. (iii) 3rd course as below based on the surface:
Above these 2 layers, On horizontal surface, providing & applying Three coat of Heavy duty fiber reinforced trafficable waterproof membrane coating like Dr. Fixit Newcoat or Equivalant including providing & applying prior One coat of high opacity Primer suitable for above water proof membrane coating like Dr. Fixit PrimeSeal AE or equivalent having diluation ratio as per manufacturer recommendation including providing all necessary arrangement to complete the work as per the specifications, manufacturer specifications and as directed by EIC. Note: 1. All new cement-sand renderings /concrete surfaces should be allowed to age 6 to 8 weeks before surface coating. 2. All corners, gaps, joints, protrusions and outlets should be coated with an extra coat and nothing extra will be paid on this account.
Careful and Safe Removal of old / Existing glasses/Louvers by racking out the old putty/ beading or bonding material from windows/vetilators (steel or wood) and safely stacking the glasses with in colony civil office store & disposal of waste material as directed by EIC with all necessary arrangements like scaffolding etc. at all heights as per the specifications by observing all safety precautions while handling glasses and working at heights etc. complete and as directed by EIC. Note: Area of opening for glass panes excluding portion inside rebate shall be measured irrespective of glass type, size & pattern.
Dismantling doors, windows and clerestory windows, ventilations (steel or wood) shutter, including or excluding chowkhats, architrave, holdfasts etc. as per the site requirement all complete at all height and stacking of useful materials and depositing in colony civil office store, disposal of waste materials as direcetd by the Engineer In Charge, including all necessary arrangements like scaffolding etc. all complete, as per the specification and as directed by EIC.
Providing and fixing M.S. Tubular frames for doors, windows, ventilators and cupboard with circular/rectangular/ L-Type sections, made of 1.60 mm thick M.S. Sheet, joints mitred, welded and grinded finish, with profiles of required size, including making all necessary arrangement for embedding of lugs like cutting of 15x10x10 cm pockets, fixing with 15x3 mm & 10 cm long lugs, filling pockets with C.C. 1:3:6 (1 Cement : 3 coarse sand : 6 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size), finishing the surrounding for filling the gap between wall and frame with Cement mortar 1:4 (1: Cement : 4 Sand), Providing & Fixing necessary full width Glass holding U-clips for louvers and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer etc. all complete as per the specifications and as directed by EIC. Note: Payment will be made for Weight of the frame including lugs and glass holding U-clips. Contractor has to quote rates accordingly after considering the charges for embedding, finishing etc. as nothing extra will be paid on this account.
Providing and fixing 4mm thick Pin headed Glass for ventilator louvers of M/S Triveni/ shree vallabh/ IAG/Modi guard/Saint Gobin or other approved equivalent manufacture conforming to IS 2835, including cutting to required shape and size etc. complete as per specification and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: Area of individual louver strip will be measured for payment.
Providing & fixing Stainless steel (grade 304) wire gauze of 0.5 mm dia wire and 1.4 mm aperture on both sides fly proof wire gauze to ventilators including providing & fixing with M.S. Flat 15x3 mm using self drilling screw @ 300 mm c.t.c. distance through out the frame etc. complete as per the specifications and as directed by EIC. Note: Self drilling screws should have sufficient design strength to penetrate minimum 5 mm thickness in mild steel sections. The contractor will have to get it pre-approved by the EIC.
Removal of existing bitumenous or APP water proofing treatment/coatings or other layers, etc. without damaging existing structure by cutting and peeling off from the surface as directed by the Engineer and disposing the same at disposal yard as direcetd by the Engineer.
Providing and fixing chajja of Red sand stone 40 mm thick and upto 80 cm projection in cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand), including making recess of minimum 100 mm depth & required width throughout the length, pointing in white cement mortar 1:2 (1 white cement : 2 stone dust) with an admixture of pigment matching the stone shade, finishing the surrounding for filling the gaps etc. complete as per the specifications and as directed by EIC.
Providing all tools, tackels, material, manpower, machinary for Dismantling of existing chimney (having outer dimension 0.65 x 0.65 M & 1.8 M height above roof) upto 0.450 M above roof level made up of doble brick wall including concrete top, including removing of existing loose cement mortar by iron brush, Plastering the inner accessible surface with 15 mm thick 1:6 (1 Cement: 6 Coarse Sand ) cement mortar, preparing the surface of dismantled top by 20 mm thick cement mortar mix of 1:4 (1 Cement: 4 Coarse Sand) to proper slope, Closing the opening by providing & fixing of 0.75 x 0.75 M undressed sandstone of minimum 40 mm thickness by grouted in cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement : 3 fine sand), including disposal of unserviceable material to the dumping ground with all lead & lift etc. complete as per the specifications & as directed by EIC.
Providing all tools, tackles, material, manpower, machinery to repair rain water outlet including cutting and making opening the surrounding concrete/brick work 15cm alround the pipe entry point, demolishing the existing spouts if any, removing the exisitng drain pipe, replacing it with 600 mm length 4" diameter Sand cast iron S&S pipe as per IS: 1729, making good the same with polymer modified ready to use non shrink micro concrete RENDROC - RG of FOSROC or equivalent to match the surrounding, using bonding agent on all surfaces being repaired as directed by the Engineer, treating the repaired area with three coats of Acrylic polymer modified water proofing cement slurry (polymer : Cement = 1:2 by volume or as recommended by the manufacturer) of FOSROC/ MASTERCRITE M-81 of choksey chemical Pvt. Ltd or equivalant approved by the Engneer In Charge, providing one layer of Glass fiber mesh 50x60 cm around the Rain water pipe mouth when the first coat is green as direcetd by the Engineeer, applying a second coat of Acrylic polymer modified water proofing cement slurry and finally finishing with a third coat by allowing time gap in between the coats as per manufacturers recommendations, making leak tight joints with polymer modified cement mortar 1:1 with hemp yarn, curing etc. complete including all necessary arrangements like scaffolding etc. as per specifications and as directed by EIC.
Steel work in built up Hot finished welded type tubes tubular (round, square or rectangular hollow tubes etc.), window sections, trusses, embedded & connection plates, cleats etc., including cutting, bending, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer, including welding and bolted with special shaped washers, making pockets of minimum 300 mm depth, anchoring of steel sections into pockets with cement concrete 1:2:4 (1 Cement: 2 Fine aggregate: 4 Coarse aggregate), finishing the surface etc. complete as per the specification, drawing and as directed by EIC.
Providing and fixing colour coated corrugated galvalume profile sheets including curved roof sheet of TATA/JSW or equivalant make (Profile, Colour and shape as approved by the Engineer-incharge) of 0.60mm(TCT) total coated thickness (tolerance as per relevant IS code) with material yield strength 550 MPa, galvalume AZ-150 (zinc aluminium alloy coating nominal composition : 55% aluminium, 43.5% zinc & 1.5% silicon mass total of both sides) with regular modified polyester paint and coating of 20- 25 micron RMP on exposed surface including primer and 7-10 micron epoxy coating on unexposed surface including primer. The sheet should be supplied in single length as desired by Engineer-in-charge. The sheet shall be fixed using self drilling / self tapping screws with EPDM seal and washers of make- Coroshield/ durotuff / polymer coated J or L hooks, bolts and nuts 8 mm diameter with bitumen and G.I. limpet washers( as per engineer in charge) including cutting to size and shape wherever required etc. complete as per the specifications and as directed by EIC. Note: 1. All screw should be sealed with silicon sealant to make the leak-tight joints. 2. Measurements will be given only for covered Roof area and over laps will not be measured or paid separately.
Providing all tools, tackles, manpower, machinery for removing & re-fixing of existing MS ventilation grill of maximum size 1x1 from existing wooden frame and fixing of the same into new MS window frame including making all necessary arrangement like for scaffolding, cutting, welding etc. complete as per the specifications and as directed by EIC.
Labor charges for fixing of float glass panes into existing frames using the dismantled pieces including cutting to required shape and size, fixing with silicone glass sealent throughout the perimeter & edges, cleaning of glasses etc. complete as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note: 1. Glasses sheets required for fixing into frames shall be taken from dismantled material and contractor has to make his own arrangement to fetch the same at work site. 2. Glasses sheets shall be cleaned properly (using cleaning agent for glass) before fixing into existing frames. 3) Required glass glue shall be provided by the contractor at thier cost and nothing extra will be paid on this account.
Painting of Two or more coats with synthetic enamel paint on steel/wood work/ plastered surface using 1st quality synthetic enamel paint of Asian Paints or equivalent including applying additional coats wherever required to achieve even shade and colour, including preparing surfaces, scaffolding, filling with putty wherever required & cleaning etc. complete all as per specifications & as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
Providing all tools, tackles, manpower, machinary for complete removal of exisiting waterproofing treatment including plastering and flooring if any to expose the bare concrete slab work on roof by manual / mechnical means (As per the site situation) without damaging to any adjecent structure to receive the new water proofing treatment including disposal of debris to the dumping area with all lead & lift as directed by EIC, cleaning the roof with the help of broom,wire brush & air pressure etc. complete as per the specifications and as directed by EIC.
Dismantling of existing sand stones from parapet top, removing existing cement mortar, preparing the surface of parapet top by 20 mm thick cement mortar mix of 1:4 (1 Cement: 4 Coarse Sand) to proper slope, relaying sandstones by grouted in cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement : 3 fine sand), including replacing unserviceable sandstones with new ones and disposal of unserviceable material to the dumping ground with all lead & lift etc. complete as per the specifications & as directed by EIC. Note: New sandstones required will be provided by the department, however contractor has to make all necessary arranement for fetching the material at the work site including cutting the stone to the required shape and nothing extra will be paid on this account.
Providing and fixing 100 mm dia. Sand cast iron S&S pipe as per IS: 1729 including filling the joints with spun yarn, cement slurry and cement mortar 1:2 ( 1 cement : 2 fine sand), fixing to the wall rigidly with MS clamp etc. complete with all necessary arrangement complete as per the specifications and as directed by EIC.
Providing and fixing 100 mm Sand cast iron S&S as per IS - 1729 plain bend/Shoe (as per site requirement) of required degree including filling the joints with spun yarn, cement slurry and cement mortar 1:2 ( 1 cement : 2 fine sand) etc. complete with all necessary arrangement complete as per the specifications and as directed by EIC.
Providing and laying integral cement based water proofing treatment with average thickness of 120 mm and minimum thickness at khurra as 65 mm including preparation of surface as required for treatment of roofs, balconies, terraces etc consisting of following operations: (a) Applying a slurry coat of neat cement using 2.75 kg/sqm of cement admixed with water proofing compound conforming to IS. 2645 and approved by Engineer-in-charge over the RCC slab including adjoining walls upto 300 mm height including cleaning the surface before treatment. (b) Laying brick bats with mortar using broken bricks/brick bats 25 mm to 115 mm size with 50% of cement mortar 1:5 (1 cement : 5 coarse sand) admixed with water proofing compound conforming to IS : 2645 and approved by Engineer-in-charge over 20 mm thick layer of cement mortar of mix 1:5 (1 cement :5 coarse sand ) admixed with water proofing compound conforming to IS : 2645 and approved by Engineer-in-charge to required slope and treating similarly the adjoining walls upto 300 mm height including rounding of junctions of walls and slabs....(c) After two days of proper curing applying a second coat of cement slurry using 2.75 kg/ sqm of cement admixed with water proofing compound conforming to IS : 2645 and approved by Engineer-in-charge. (d) Finishing the surface with 20 mm thick jointless cement mortar of mix 1:4 (1 cement :4 coarse sand) admixed with water proofing compound conforming to IS : 2645 and approved by Engineerin- charge including laying glass fibre cloth of approved quality in top layer of plaster and finally finishing the surface with trowel with neat cement slurry and making pattern of 300x300 mm square 3 mm deep. (e) The whole terrace so finished shall be flooded with water for a minimum period of two weeks for curing and for final test.“All above operations to be done in order and as directed and specified by the Engineer-in-Charge.
Providing and laying 3 mm thick APP (Atactic Polypropylene Polymer) modified prefabricated five layer water proofing membrane, black finished reinforced with non-woven polyester matt consisting of a coat of bitumen primer for bitumen membrane @ 0.40 litre/sqm by the same membrane manufacture of density at 25°C, 0.87-0.89 kg/litre and viscocity 70-160 cps. Over the primer coat the layer of membrane shall be laid using Butane Torch and sealing all joints etc, and preparing the surface complete. The vital physical and chemical parameters of the membrane shall be as under : Joint strength in longitudinal and transverse direction at 23°C as 650/ 450N/5cm. Tear strength in longitudinal and transverse direction as 300/250N. Softening point of membrane not less than 150°C. Cold flexibility shall be upto -2°C when tested in accordance with ASTM, D - 5147. The laying of membrane shall be got done through the authorised applicator of the manufacturer of membrane.
Painting with Two or more coats of aluminium paint of approved brand and manufacture to give an even shade over APP water proofing membrane etc. complete as per the specifications and as directed by EIC.
