SUPPLY AND FIXING PNEUMATIC LINE (SS MATERIAL)FOR AUTOMATIC FIRE FIGHTING AT IRUGUR TOP

Subject: Approval for floating tender for “Supply and fixing Pneumatic Air Line(SS Material) ring for Automatic Fire Fighting at Irugur TOP” Pilot Automatic Fire fighting facility is being proposed for implementation at Irugur TOP. As a part of the subject project, Airline is laid to the above ground tanks of Tank Farm 1 and 2 from the compressor shed. The compressed air will then be used to operate the Pneumatic valves (Rotork) installed in the Fire Water lines thus automating the Firefighting operation. For actuating the Pneumatic valves in Fire water lines connected to MS tanks, input from Rim Seal fire protection system is taken. For Class B tanks, SS Pneumatic airline ring with Quartzoid bulbs around the curb of tanks needs to be provided. Quartzoid bulbs will burst and release pressure during Tank fire/rim seal fire. The rate of pressure drop will be act as input to actuate the Pneumatic valves of the respective Foam pourer lines. Thus, Pneumatic Airline ring of 1 inch diameter with Quartzoid bulbs needs to be provided around the curb of Tanks TK04 , TK05 , TK07 and TK06. CRFQ NO:1000395331
