REPAIR/ MAINT OF HT CABLE, HT JOINT AND OTHER CONNECTED ITEMS AT TECH AREA AT AFS PHALODI

Taking out old under ground HT XLPE/PVC cable of any size for finding out fault from trenches/wall/roof/road/pipe/pole/ including taking out of broken PCC cable cover and removing from site complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (Excavation, earth work shall be measured and paid for separately under appropriate item).

Supply and laying XLPE HT Cable of size 120 Sqmm, 3 core, 11 KV ‘E’ heavy duty with XLPE insulated stranded aluminium conductor served with an inner sheathening of PVC tape armoured with Galvanized steel strip or wire and over all PVC Sheathed conforming to IS- 7098 (Part-II) with latest amendments laid in trenches/fixed to wall/pole/laid in floor including necessary connections and suitable size of thimbling complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. (Excavation, earth work, brick & sand cushioning shall be measured and paid for separately under appropriate item).

Supply and laying XLPE HT Cable of size 95 Sqmm, 3 core, 11 KV ‘E’ heavy duty with XLPE insulated stranded aluminium conductor served with an inner sheathening of PVC tape armoured with Galvanized steel strip or wire and over all PVC Sheathed conforming to IS- 7098 (Part-II) with latest amendments laid in trenches/fixed to wall/pole/laid in floor including necessary connections and suitable size of thimbling complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. (Excavation, earth work, brick & sand cushioning shall be measured and paid for separately under appropriate item).

Excavation in trenches, n.exc 1.5m wide & n.exc 1.5m in depth for foundation & getting out in for laying of cable complete as specified.

Removal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 mtr away and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 mtr above the starting point complete.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc. 25 cms thick in soils complete all as specified

Material and labour for dry tibba sand in trenches cushioning to under ground cable spreading, levelling hand punning complete all as specified and directed.Note- Punned down thickness will be measured for payment purpose.

Supply and lay un reinforced precast concrete cable covers class HV, type 1, flat of size 300 x 180 x 40 mm. complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of old painted surfaces of any description or girth and applying painting with synthetic enamel paint of desired colour on HT/LT poles/machinery and items of any size or metal including complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S&F in replcement of drop out fuse unit, explusion type for out door air break gang oprated switch, single pole mounted on and including insulators for 11 KV working pressure fixed to and including MS channel with nuts, bolts and washer etc synthetic bounded fuse tube complete with line capcity suitable for current carrying capacity upto 100 Amps all as directed including taking down old one all as specified and as directed.

M & L for boring hole under the road / pavement / hard standing of any width with the help of trenchless technology using ultra sound technique and necessary machine and including HDPE pipe 150 mm of size not less than one metre below ground level complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fixing in replacement of insulator pin type porcelain, vitreous, white, brown or green including one galvanized mild steel spindle two GI washers and one nut of size 150 mm height 150mm dia suitable for 11000 volts HT grade complete incl removing of old unsv items.

Supply and fixing in replacement of Single disc type insulator 145 mm height 255 mm dia suitable for 11000 volts HT grade porcelain vitreous white,brown or green including galvanized mild steel sectional straps 38X5mm, insulator bolts dia 20mm, washers and nuts all as specified incl removing of old unsv items.

S & F in replacement lightning arresters suitable for 11000 Volts,expulsion type complete with all fittings, transmission class, dischange capacity 65 KA complete all as directed.

Supply and stringing ACSR conductor in replacement of (Weasel/ Ferret) on four pole structure for bus bar line securing on pole complete including binding wire, jointing sleeves aluminium tap and PG clamp etc of any size all as specified and as directed. (Note :- (a) Rate is inclusive of jumper on cutout point/2 pole structure/4 pole structure shall be provided with PVC insulated sleeve.

M&L in replacement for cross arms bracings, supports, clamps and back plates fabricated from structural steel sections including nuts, bolts, washers, welding, bending cold or hot, drilling holes for bolts, in any shape or size as indicated or directed and inclusive of one primer coat, one under coat and one finishing coat of aluminium paint.

Supply & lay GI tubing light grade 80 mm dia bore in protection of cable at road crossing /hard standing/pole protection fixed with clamps as per site requirement etc all as specified and directed.

Cutting of road / hardstanding upto a size not exceeding 20 cms in width and not exceeding 60 cms in depth for laying of HT UG cable protection pipe line making good the disturbed portion so as to match existing finishing or with PCC 1:2:4 type C1 complete all as specified.

Disconnecting the electric supply from the existing RMU/VCB/Transformer/HT poles and meggering the HT under ground cable for its IR value and ensuring the servicebility by HT megger,locating the faults by HT fault finder instrument for any distance and reconnect the HT cable. NOTE:- Joint kit and HT UG Cable shall be measured and paid separetly.

M&L for HT Cable route indicator made out of CI Plate 100mm dia, 6mm thick & fixed over flat iron of size 60x6mm, 120 cm in length embeded in PCC 1:3:6 type C1 of Size 30x30x20cm complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge

Supply and fix in replacement Danger notice plate for HT of 25 cm x 20 cm x 1.6 mm thick mild steel sheet vitreous enameled white, with letters, figures and conventional skull and bones and written as "DANGER" in signal red colour and incl fixing to existing installations including necessary fabrication/welding work complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note :- Words shall be written in two languages viz. -Hindi and English.

Excavation in post holes (or similar holes) in soft/loose soil, each n.exc 0.5 cum, getting out, returning, filling in and ramming earth or broken rubble mixed with earth around, in layers not exceeding 25cm, watering, and removing surplus soil to a distance n exc 50m and making good surface.

M & L for PCC (1:4:8) type D-2, using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in foundations, filling around fencing posts.

S&F MS work as in angle iron fencing post, fixed independently for fixing chain link fence, including all necessary cutting, drilling holes, bolting etc for screwing chain link fencing all as directed.

S & F MS flat iron straps for fixing chain link fence, including all necessary cutting, drilling holes, bolting etc for screwing chain link fencing all as directed.

S&F Machine made screw bolts with hexagonal or square head at one end and rounded the other or screwed both end each screwed end to be fitted with washers and one hexagonal or square nut, dia of shank 11 to 15mm.

Supply only chain link fencing 4mm dia, MS galvanized, 100mm x 100mm mesh size, fixed to angle iron fencing post or angle frame complete all as directed.

M&L for preparation of new steel surfaces,over 10cm in width or girth not otherwise described and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer.

Framed work such as grill, grating framed guard bars etc.for securing water ways.(in front of gates)

M&L laying of 20 mm aggregates for laying around 11 KV 4 pole, transformer plinth & substation all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for earthing complete with galvansided steel earth plate electrode 600x600x6.0mm thick directly burried in the ground (earth pit not less than 2.25M deep below ground level) with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.50M deep below normal ground level, connected to galvanised iron strip 32x6mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel, 40mm bore GI pipe medium grade including necessary fittings for protection of earthing strip, watering pipe 20mm bore GI medium grade, concrete chamber in PCC (1:4:8) type D-2 using 40 mm grade aggregate, coping shall be in PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 using 20 mm grade aggregate and internal surfaces of concrete chamber shall be given 12mm thick plaster in CM (1:4), funnel with wire gauge of 22 gauge (0.63 mm) 8 mesh per linear incl 50mm thick cover of RCC (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20mm grade stone aggregate reinforced with 8mm MS deformed bar @ 75 mm C/C both ways, char coal dust and common salt all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 of SSR Part-I (2009) including all necessary excavation & earth work and removal of surplus soil to a distance n. exc 50M and providing connection points with MS/ GI bolts & washers as required and connection from earth test point to earth electrode with same GI earth strip alongwith protection pipe and testing on completion complete all as specified and directed. Note:- GI strip and protection pipe from earth electrode to test point max upto 7.50M shall be deemed to be included in the unit rates as quoted by the contractor.

M&L earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc.using 32x6mm galvanised iron strip as specified and as directed.

HT feeder pillar box factor made cubical type dust proof, out door type both side opening of size 110 x 100 x 60 cm of MS sheet 3 mm thick power coated machine pressed front opening in two halves with rubber gasket / bedding , locking arrangement with sliding bolt including aluminium bus bar of size 50 x 10 mm and 80 cm long 3 strips mounted on HT insulators each strip should be munted minimum two insulator and nut bolt panel shall be mounted on angle iron frame and legs made from angle iron of size 50x 50 x 6 mm and legs 40 cm long duly spray painted internally and externally with two coat of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer grouted in PCC 1:2:4 type ‘B’ ( using 20 mm graded stone aggregate complete incoming / outgoing cable provision.

S &F Replacement of switch air break gang operated from two pole/four pole structure and supply & fixing switch air break gang operated, triple pole, mechanically operated, mounted on insulator and steel frame with operating machanism worked from ground level using heavy duty GI pipe, for current rating 200 Amps, outdoor type (conforming to IS specifications) HT 11 KV, triple pole with fixed contacts of phosphorous and bronze and a set of drop out HT fuse assembly, fuse carrier fitting, 12 insulator type mounted on MS channel operating rod with pad lock arrangement complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Repair to operating mechanism of 11KV air break gang operating of any capacity with necessary oiling/greasing to moving parts and to set right the alignment of Male/Female contacts for proper working complete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note :- (i). Male/Female contacts if replaced shall be measured and paid separately under appropriate item of this BOQ. (ii) The T & P and minor repair i.e. replaced the nut/bolts etc. will be arranged by the contractor and the cost deemed to be included in the quoted rates.

Supply only in replacement heavy duty male and female (each set will be comprising with one male and one female contact) contact of brass Zinc plated for GO switches of current rating capacity 200 Amps complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for Cement Concrete 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate for pole base foundation and coping complete all as specified.

M&L in repair cement concrete PCC 1:4:8 type D-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in pole foundation all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Surface excavation not exc 30 cm in depth and averaging 15 cm deep including complete removal of vegetation around of HT 2pole/4 pole structures, transformers, HT feeder pillers, RMUs etc and removal of the waste at a distance of min 50 meters from the installations complete all as specified and as directed by Engir-in-Charge.

Taking up or down steel tubing and connections of size 20 mm bore complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Taking up or down steel tubing and connections of size 15 mm bore complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for galvanized steel water tubing medium grade of 15mm bore with & including all fittings complete, laid in trenches/ on floor/wall complete all as specified and directed by Engineer - in - Charge.

M&L for galvanized steel water tubing medium grade of 20mm bore with & including all fittings complete, laid in trenches/on floor/wall complete all as specified and directed by Engineer - in - Charge.

S&F in repairs heavy duty PVC tap 15mm dia suitable for outdoor purpose as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.
