Eligibility Criteria

Tenders from Joint ventures are not acceptable.

Bidders shall not be under a declaration of ineligibility for corrupt and fraudulent practices issued by Government of Karnataka

Bidders shall ensure upload of relevant document certifying his/her status as Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe/other reserved category as prescribed in the tender document.

It shall be the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure credit of Tender Processing Fee and EMD into the respective receiving bank accounts of e-Procurement on or before the last date and time of bid submission.

EMD Payments through e-Payment mode shall be made as one single transaction and payments made in part are liable for rejection.

The contractor should be registered in respective class Category of KPWD / Any State / Central Government / Public sector Organisations

The Bidder shall ensure credit of Tender Processing Fee and EMD into the respective receiving bank accounts of KPP PORTAL on or before the last date of bid submission

Conditional tenders will be rejected

The tenderer shall bear all costs associated with the preparation and submission of his tender and the employer will in no case be responsible and liable for those costs

The tender processing fee will neither be refunded nor will be transferred to other works

The CNNL reserves the right of rejecting any or all of the tenders without assigning any reason and will not be bound to accept the lowest tender

Royalty on construction materials and other taxes will be deducted as per prevailing Government orders

Amount put to tender includes cost of cement, Steel and other materials and labour charges. The rates quoted must also be inclusive of all applicable taxes, Royalty, Octroi, Quarry fee etc., and GST. No extra payment on this account will be entertained

Contractor has to make his own arrangement for procurement of all materials required for the work. There is no departmental supply of materials. Contractor should procure only ISI mark materials and submit necessary quality control certifcates from the authorised quality control authority, before execution

One percent (1%) of the bill amount of the successful tenderer will be deducted towards the construction labour welfare fund as per Government Order LD / 300 / LET / 2006 Bangalore dated 01-01-2007 and Government letter no: PW / 134 / BMS / 2007 dated 27-07-2007

All scanned documents to be uploaded shall be in original and the executive Engineer reserves the right to verify the documents before approval

Further details and information, if any, required can be had from the Office of the Executive Engineer, MP Division, CNNL, Ramanagara, Karnataka, on all working days during ofce hours

If any of the dates mentioned above happens to be a General Holiday, the next working day will hold good in lieu of the date mentioned

The work includes all lead and lift and work shall be carried out as per the instructions of the Engineer-in-Charge of the work. The rates in the schedule-B include all lead and lift irrespective of distance and height. No extra charges will be paid for additional lead and lift

The validity period for E.M.D. shall be for a minimum period of 90 days from the date of opening of tenders. E.M.D. shall be valid for 45 days beyond the validity of the tender

If Nigama wishes to engage third party inspecting agency for the said work, apart from the Quality Control authorities and field tests of the Nigama and Contractor, then the contractor should co-operate with the third party test and Quality Control authorities.

In addition to the above, all the conditions, as stipulated in the bid document uploaded should be followed

The defect liability period for this work is as indicated in tender document

Sub leasing/ GPA of work prohibited

Department is not responsible for Typological error

The successful bidder whose tender is approved, should fulfll all the conditions stipulated in tender document and enter into agreement with Nigama in stipulated time

The intending contractors are requested to note that they should abide by the detailed instructions and conditions contained in the Standard Tender documents pertaining to this work

The work is reserved for bidders belonging to Scheduled Caste / Schedule tribe as per GO No FD 611 Exp-12/2023 Bengaluru dated: 03-02-2024 for the works costing upto Rs 100.00 Lakhs and further amended for works costing up to Rs. 100 lakhs as per GO Dated : 29-03-2023. The bidders should scan and upload the Caste certificate while bidding for the work

The Contractor belonging to the Scheduled caste / Schedule tribe shall be domicile of the State of Karnataka for more than 10 years.

Bids without the Caste certificate and domicile certificate will be rejected
