Dismantling and opening of parts for servicing of water cooled DG set of following capacity coupled with alternator, Maintenance and servicing mechanically and electrically, including cleaning, oiling /greasing, removing & replacement of defective / unserviceable parts with new parts,ie diesel filter /oil filter /Air filter /fan belt /fuel pipe/ engine oil pipe /Engine Oil etc as required at site as per manufacturer's instructions and checking of valves & nozzles etc, reassembling the parts of DG set at position ensuring proper alignment connecting to existing system and making DG set perfectly operational and testing at site connected load to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge complete all as specified and directed. (including mentioned in Srl No. 1(a) & (b) here in below) Notes:-(i) The quoted rates of the contractor includes for fixing the serviceable parts in position and replacement of unserviceable parts with new parts. The new replaced parts shall be measured and paid for separately under appropriate item of Sch as `supply only ‘ but quoted rates are inclusive of replacement of small/minor parts such as nuts, bolts, washers, locking nuts, small springs, `O’ rings, screws/gaskets/ packing /studs etc. (ii) Engine oil shall be drained out carefully, collected by the contractor in his own suitable containers and stored properly for checking serviceability including cleaning of oil sump by pouring kerosene oil all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge (iii) Fresh engine oil for DG sets shall be supplied by the contractor as “ Topping up and supply only” and shall be measured and paid separately under appropriate item of Sch . Its cost of filling is deemed to be included under the rates quoted by the contractor.

Supply only element bypass filter with gasket for 100 KVA to 250 KVA capacity DG Set dismantled/fixed under Sch item No 1.00 here in above complete all as specified and directed.

Disconnecting and taking out engine fitted in 40 KVA to 250 KVA 3 phase 50 Hz of DG set ( Make: Cummins/Caterpillar/Kirloskar/ Greaves) , dismantling and strip opening of complete engine of water cooled DG set of suitable capacity 3 phase 50 Hz for carrying out repair and complete over hauling , mechanically and electrically, cleaning,oiling/greasing , and fixing of serviceable parts in position, and removing & replacement of unserviceable/ defective parts /spares with new parts,as per manufacturer's instructions cleaning , oiling /greasing,descaling of water jackets,decarbonizing cylinder heads including refacing and lapping of valves, valve-seats, grinding of crank shaft or any other machining work required at site, allingment of connecting rods including matching with crank shaft. and reassembling the engine of DG set at position ensuring proper alignment and coupling the engine with alternator, complete all as specified and directed. (including mentioned Note in here in below)

Notes for Sch item No. 07 here in above : (i) Repairs/Overhauling / reassembling and testing of engine of DG set shall be carried out through a authorised service center . (ii) The quoted rates of the contractor includes for fixing the serviceable parts in position and replacement of unserviceable parts with new parts. The new replaced parts shall be measured and paid for separately under appropriate item of Sch as `supply only ‘ here in after under item No.07 but quoted rates are inclusive of replacement of small/minor parts such as nuts, bolts, washers, locking nuts, small springs, `O’ rings, screws/gaskets/ packing /studs etc. (iii) The quoted rates of contractor are deemed to be included cost of transportation to and fro authorized service centre and machining job etc.as required (iv) The element for connecting to existing system and making DG set perfectly operational and testing at site connected load to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge shall be included/covered under the rates quoted in item No. 7 here in above consider for Maintenance and servicing.

Disconnecting, and taking out carefully old unserviceable AVR unit from DG set of various capacity complete and supply , fixing, connecting and testing AVR unit suitable for 3 phase 50 HZ alternator suitable for 100 KVA to 250 KVA capacity of DG set complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling and taking out the radiator fitted in following capacity of DG sets and strip opening complete radiator assembly,for servicing mechanically and proper cleaning of tubes with using de-scaling solution, including repair of water tubes and top/ bottom tanks by soldering / gas welding of leakage of tubes/tanks.including replacement of gasket, nut bolts,etc ensuring perfectly leak proof after servicing of radiator, re-assembling and fixing the same in position and testing the system complete all as specified and directed . Notes :- (i) Repairs/servicing/re-assembling and testing of radiator shall be carried out through a authorised representative of manufacturer.(ii) The quoted rates of the contractor includes for fixing the serviceable parts in position and replacement of unserviceable parts with new parts. The new replaced parts shall be measured and paid for separately under appropriate item ’ as `supply only ‘ but quoted rates are inclusive of replacement of small/minor parts such as nuts, bolts, washers, gaskets/ packing etc.(iii) The quoted rates of contractor are deemed to be included cost of transportation to and fro authorized service centre.

Dismantling and taking out the PT fuel system including injectors assembly fitted in following capacity of DG sets 3 phase 50 HZ of DG set and strip opening of PT fuel system including injectors assembly for carrying out repair/ servicing /overhauling mechanically ,cleaning, oiling/greasing, fixing of serviceable parts in position, removing & replacement of defective / unserviceable parts with new parts, complete and calibration of Fuel Injection after repair/ servicing /overhauling and re-assembling and fixing the same in position and testing complete all as specified and directed . Notes :- (i) Repairs/servicing / reassembling and testing of Fuel injector pump shall be carried out through a authorised service center on testing machine. (ii) The quoted rates of the contractor includes for fixing the serviceable parts in position and replacement of unserviceable parts with new parts. Disconnecting existing non functional armature of self starter, 24 Volt DC fitted in 100 to 250 KVA DG set , dismantling and strip opening of the armature of self starter, 24 Volt DC, removing the old existing burnt windings, cleaning the slots & rewinding of the armature of self starter, 24 Volt DC, including supply with existing gauge super enameled copper conductor , including insulating material such as illuminous paper, Letherized paper, cotton tape, glass sleeves insulating such as illuminous paper, Letherized paper, cotton tape, glass sleeves insulating varnish etc as required at workshop and transportation to site & refixing on same position & testing complete all as specified and directed .

Disconnecting and taking out the exhaust system of DG set of any capacity between 100 KVA to 250 KVA and carrying out cleaning of choked, carbonized exhaust pipe including exhaust silencer , including soldering / welding of leakage of pipe.and assembling the complete exhaust assembly including replacement of exhaust manifold gasket side pieces, metallic flexible pipe, nut bolts, and testing for making it leak proof and fixing the same in position and testing the system complete all as specified and directed and supply , fixing, connecting of Ehaust Manifold side piece complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and topping up lubrication oil SAE-40 ( 20 W- 40 grade) suitable for Engine of DG set any capacity drained out / filling under item No 1.00 here in above complete all as specified and directed.
