Repair to potholes any depth, not exc 1 sq m each including sweeping free from dust & mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting arounds edges to at least 25mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat at 5 kg per 10 sq m (VG-10). Putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed & sealed with binder 9.8 kg per 10 sq m, blinded with 0.09 cu m of stone chippings, 6.3 mm size & again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam, binder & chippings), depth of potholes exc 30mm.

Preparation of Black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms & finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc.

M &L Applying evenly a priming/tack coat with paving bitumen at 5 kg per 10 sq meters complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L Premix bituminous, macadam, consolidated thickness 75mm or less, with 4% paving bitumen ( VG-30) as binder content by weight of total mix, using hot mix plant and mechanical paver (as approved by the GE), laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber, complete. Note : (i) Job mix formula for bituminous macadam concrete shall be obtained from the institutes specified in the particular specifications. (ii) In case, as per actual design mix, the binder content by weight of total mix is less than 4%, price adjustment shall be made as per average rate of all the purchase vouchers for bitumen pertaining to the work under this contract. If total binder content as per design mix is more than 4%, no price adjustment shall be made for the same.

M&L Bituminous premix semi-dense asphaltic concrete (SDAC) 30mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% paving bitumen ( VG-30) as binder content by weight of total mix, using hot mix plant and mechanical paver as approved by the GE, rolled and compacted using 8 to 10 Ton power roller to required camber and gradient complete. Note : (i) Job mix formula for the semi dense asphaltic concrete shall be obtained from the institutes specified in the particular specifications. (ii) In case, as per actual design mix, the binder content by weight of total mix is less than 5.5%, price adjustment shall be made as per average rate of all the purchase vouchers for bitumen pertaining to the work under this contract. If total binder content as per design mix is more than 5.5%, no price adjustment shall be made for the same.

M&L for preparation of black bituminous surfaces of road as required/directed and applying thermoplastic road marking paint with an applicator machine the material shall be laid uniformly, heated mixer starting mechanism at temprator of 160 degree centigrade. Thickness of paint shall not less than 2 mm and not more than 2.5 mm, the width pattern all as directed at site. The paint shall be BS 3262 Part I & II of 1989.

M&L Applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint on brick, stone, concrete, asbestos cement or plaster surface of any description over 10cm girth or width, not otherwise described including preparation of old surface.

Taking down cement plaster, any description on brick or stone walls, etc. including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water, etc.

M&L Rendering 10mm thick on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces in CM (1:4), finished the surfaces even and smooth without using extra cement.

M&L Applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of primer on brick, stone, concrete, asbestos cement or plaster surface of any description over 10cm girth or width, not otherwise described including preparation of new surface.

S&F single pole madatory road sign boards consisting of MS tube 40mm dia medium grade of 3.0 metre height out of which 0.6m is embedded in PCC below ground level, MS tube welded on top with MS sheet 3mm thick 600mm dia and at bottom with MS plate 200x200mmx6mm thick embedded in PCC 1:2:4 type B2 of size 450x450x 600mm incl necessary earthwork, removal of soil, providing 2 coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer on all exposed surfaces of steel. The board shall be stuck with a layer of red colour sticker sheet signal conforming to IRC : 67-2001 and over that the traffic sign sticker like speed limit, school zone, one way, no entry etc, shall be stuck complete all as specified.

Dismantling of existing cat eye/solar cat eye and kept in custody for re-fixing as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Refixing of old cat eyes obtained from dismantling under sl item No 12 above all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S&F Cat eye with molded shank white body with both side red lens. Make 3M 290 series OS-777 or equivalent make given in list of makes,

S&F Road studs Make : 3M Solar or equivalent make given in list of make.

S&F Plastic speed breaker with reflector 500x350x80mm size including anchor fastner and adhessive complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F Convex mirror with polycarbonate body, 80cm dia, suitable for road turning, intersections, curves, T junctions, hospitals, parking lots, surveilance etc., with clear and definite mirror image having 130 degrees of viewing angle, fixed to walls, as in repairs, complete of make Gogia Plastic or equivalent as approved by GE.

Demolition of Brickwork or stone/boulder masonry, built in CM or cement lime mortar including all quions, arches, pillars etc, but excluding ashlar facings, dressed stonework & precast concrete articles.

Excavating over areas, n exc 1.5m deep & getting out in hard / dense soil.

Excavating over areas, n exc 1.5m deep & getting out in soft / loose soil.

Excavating over areas, exc 1.5m but n exc 3.0m deep & getting out in soft / loose soil.

M&L PCC in foundations, filling and mass-concrete type D2 (1:4:8) using 40 mm graded stone aggregate.

M&L PCC in lintels upto 1.5 m clear span, cills, steps; seismic & other similar bands, plinth courses, string courses, lacing courses, parapets and railings upto 60 cm in height, copings, kneelers, apex stones, bed plates, water troughs and the like including weathering, slightly rounded for chamfered angles and throating, as directed type B1 (1:2:4) using 20 mm graded aggregate.

M&L 40mm thick PCC type B-1, (1:2:4) using 20mm graded stone aggregate Finished even & smooth using extra cement.

Formwork to faces of walls, retaining walls, abutments, parapets & staircase railing and similar work including attached pillasters, buttresses, etc.; vertical or to batter Rough finished surfaces of concrete flat.

Formwork to soffits of suspended slabs such as roof slabs, floor slabs, landings & similar work; not exc. 200mm thick (Horizontal or sloping) Rough finished surfaces of concrete flat.

M&L RCC M-25 design mix using 20 mm graded aggregate in Slabs supported on walls, beams and columns in floors, roofs, landings, balconies, canopies, deck slabs and in shelves and the like.

M&L Precast cement concrete type C1 (1:3:6) using 20 mm graded aggregate as in bonders (for stone walling), , with plain fair faces, including chamfers, weatherings, throating etc. and setting in CM(1:4) with joints to match.

Cutting holes into or through cement concrete slabs, chajjas, etc. reinforced or otherwise superficial area N exc 100 sq cm.

Cutting holes into or through stone walls built in cement mortar or cement lime mortar & walls of cement concrete and making good in CM(1:3) or PCC(1:2:4) type B-1 as required Superficial area not exc 150 Sq CM.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering & well ramming in layers n. exc 25 cm in soft/loose soil.

Removing excavated soil n exc. 50m & depositing where directed at a level n exc. 1.5 m above the starting point.
