HILL SIDE CUTTING

Earth work in hill road (hill side cutting):- Excavation in hilly area for construction of road in all types of soil, rocks & E&B etc. As met at site , true to lines as per plan,L section , cross slope, super elevation as required , also including uprooting & cutting of bushes ,dressing of road surface to the required level and slopes, with all lift & leads required for safe disposal of surplus excavated material at suitable dumping places indicated in drawings by mechanical means/ manual means and including construction of required coolie walling of minimum height of 0.60 mt. with the stones available from the required hill side cutting for retaining the muck, without otherwise damaging the forest , forest land , utilities, private and public properties ,including slip clearance and its safe disposal (same as per mentioned above for safe disposal of surplus excated material), till the completion of the work as per part II special conditions of contract, MORD specifications Clause 1601,1602 & 1603,and as per direction of Engineer in charge .

Running Slip Clearance after hill side cutting during rainy seasons including supply of all materials, labour, T&P etc required for proper completion of work.

Removal of defects- in soil in Hilly Area by mechanical means including cutting and trimming of side slopes and disposing of excavated earth with a lift upto 1.5 m and a lead upto 20 m as per Technical Specification Clause 1603.1

Removal of defects-in Hilly Areas in Ordinary Rock by mechanical means not requiring blasting Excavation in hilly area in ordinary rock not requiring blasting by mechanical means including cutting and trimming of slopes and disposal of cut material with a lift upto 1.5 m and lead upto 20 m as per Clause 1603.2

Removal of defects-in hilly areas in hard rock requiring blasting, by mechanical means, lift cu.m upto 1.5 m and disposal of excavated rock upto a lead of 20 m as per Clause 1603.2

Excavation in foundation for retaining & brest walls in all types of soils and rocks including lead, lift and disposal of surplus material as per direction of engineer - in -chargeR/W & B/W For Protection work

Construction of retaining walls/breast walls in cement mortar 1:5 as per drawing and technical specifications Clause 1604. Providing Random Rubble Stone masonry in cement mortar 1:5. For Protection work

Random Rubble stone masonry for structure laid dry by locally available approved stone, including supply of all materials, labour, T&P etc required for proper completion of work as per drawing & as per MORD specification for retaining walls, breast walls & other similar structures as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing & laying filter media as Hand packed stone filling in the back of retaining walls, abutments, wing walls etc. by locally available approved stone including supply of all material, labour, T&P etc. required for proper completion of the work as directed by Engineer in charge. For Protection work

Construction of parapet in RR stone masonry laid in 1:5, C/S mortar providing M10 cement concrete in top, plaster in 1:4 C/S mortar & flush pointing in 1:3 C/S mortar as required and specified in detailed drawing with white washing complete as per the direction of Engineer in charge.( without base cc M10)MORD specification clause 1604)

Construction of parapet in RR stone masonry laid in 1:5, C/S mortar providing M10 cement concrete in top, plaster in 1:4 C/S mortar & flush pointing in 1:3 C/S mortar as required and specified in detailed drawing with white washing complete as per the direction of Engineer in charge.( witht base CC M10 )MORD specification clause 1604)

Providing and laying of boulder apron laid in wire crates with 4 mm dia G.I. Wire conforming to IS: 280 & IS: 4826 in 100mm x 100mm mesh (woven diagonally) including 10% extra for laps and joints laid with stone boulders weighting not less than 25 Kg each as per drawing and technical specification of MORD and as directed by Engineer in charge.

Construction of Hill side Kutcha drain (0.60mX 0.5m) size as per drawing excluding in gaps for C/D structures including excavation in all type of soil and rock as met at site with all material, labour, T&P lead, lift & disposal of excavated material etc. as directed by Engineer in charge.(MORD specification clause 1307 & 1606)

Construction of Hill side Pucca KC drain in accordance with the requirement of specification true to line and grades. Dimensions and other particulars as per drawing including all material labour T&P. etc. required for proper completion of the work as directed by Engineer in charge.(MORD specification clause 1307 & 1606)

Construction of Pucca scupper including catch pit , including supply of all materials, labour, T&P etc required for proper completion of work as per drawing & MORD specification as directed by Engineer-in-Charge..(MORD specification clause 1606.5)

Providing and fixing of Kilometer stone as per standard drawing made of precast R.C.C. M15 grade fixed with P.C.C. M10 grade, including excavation of pit, painting and printing letters on kilometer stone with two coat of synthetic enamel paint of approved quality as directed by Engineer in charge..(MORD specification clause 1700)

Providing and fixing of Hectometer stone as per standard drawing made of precast R.C.C. M15 grade fixed with P.C.C. M10 grade, including excavation of pit, painting and printing letters on kilometer stone with two coat of synthetic enamel paint of approved quality as directed by Engineer in charge..(MORD specification clause 1700)

Providing fixing of Title Information Board with Nabard Logo at suitable place in the starting of the road as per attached standard drawing duly painted and written as per the MORD specification and direction given by Engineer in charge..(MORD specification clause 1700)

Providing & fixing of Semi reflective Traffic Sign Boards (cautionary, mandatory & informatory) as per attached drawing duly painted and written as per the MORD specification and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.(MORD specification clause 1700)

Providing & fixing of NABARD Logo Board at starting point, end point and at every 2 Km distance of road length as per attached standard drawing duly painted and written as per MORD specification and direction by Engineer in charge.(MORD specification clause 1700)

Providing & fixing of Citizen Information Board withNABARD Logo at starting or prominent location (where maximum no. of citizens can view the detail of the road) as per attached standard drawing dully painted and written as per the MORD specification and direction of Engineer-in-charge.(MORD Specification clause 1700)(MORD specification clause 1700)

Providing & fixing of Semi reflective Directon and Place Identification Sign Boards up to 0.90 sqm size as per attached drawing and as per the MORD Specification and as directed by Engineer in charge..(MORD specification clause 1700)

X, Slope Stability, Soil Erosion & Soil Conservation

Random Rubble stone masonary in Coolie walling including supply of all material, cu.m labour, T&P etc. required for proper completion of the work.(As per PWD Uttarakhand specifications) (for Enviornmental protection work )for Making Dumping Yard

P/F of empty maxphalt drum with E/B filling(for Enviornmental protection work )Treatment work as Bio - Engineering .(MORD specification clause 1612)

Preparation of seed bed on previously laid top soil, furnishiing and placing of seeds, fertilizer, multching material, applying bituminous emulsion at the rate of 0.23 per sqm and laying and fixing jute netting, including watering for 3 months all as per specification 8.11,1600 & 300(for Enviornmental protection work )Treatment work as Bio - Engineering .(MORD specification clause 1612)
