Repair to potholes any depth, not exceeding 1.00 sq m each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by screened and graded road metal, watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal), complete all as specified and directed.

Preparing existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc., and applying evenly a priming / tack coat with paving bituminous primer of grade VG-10 at 5 kg per 10 sq.metre for laying premixed bituminous semi dense asphaltic concrete, complete all as specified and directed. NOTE:- Semi dense asphaltic concrete shall be measured and paid separaely under respective item of this Schedule.

Premixed bituminous semi dense ashphaltic concrete (mixed in hot mix plant) 40mm consolidated thickness, using paving bitumen of Grade VG - 30 as binder with 5.5% minimum binder content by weight of total mix and laying with mechanical paver, rolled and compacted with pneumatic roller of 10 ton capacity to required camber and gradient, complete all as specified and as directed. NOTE:- (i) Contractor shall get the design mix carried out from sources specified here-in-after and execute work using bitumen content as per actual design mix. (ii) In the event of variation in the mix design in the percentage of binder content on minus side, the difference in quantity of binder content will be adjusted through supply only rate at market rate or procurement rate whichever is more paving bitumen VG-30. However, no adjuctment shall be applicable if excess quantity of binder content is used/approved in the execution of work under this item. (iii) Cost of carrying out design mix shall deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted for this item.

Preparation of black bituminous road surfaces and applying thermo plastic road marking paint of 2.50mm thick for making centre-line, lane divider, lane divider line, zebra crossing lines etc., as directed with an applicator machine and heated mixer, with stirring mechanism at temperature 160 degree celcius, laid uniformly with and as directed , paint conforming to IS-3262 Part I & II of 1989 etc., and shall be conforming to Section 803.4.2 of MORTH, complete as per manufacturer's instructions, all as specified and directed. MAKE (of thermo plastic road marking paint) : ASIAN LTD / AUTOMAT ROAD SAFETY PVT LTD / AUTOMARK TECHNOLOGIES INDIA PVT LTD NOTE:- Colour of paint shall be as approved by GE.

Demolition of un-reinforced cement concrete in ground floors and pavings not exceeding 15 cm thickness (below or above ground level) and removing rubbish off the premises, complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling floor, hearth or wall tiling including cement mortar bedding (but not backing), removing serviceable tiles to store and rubbish off the premises, complete all as specified and directed.

PCC (1:4:8) type D2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregate), 100mm thick as in sub-bases to floors, complete all as specified and directed.

Screed bed or bedding layer of mortar 20 mm thick in CM (1:6) for laying floor finishes, complete all as specified and directed.

Chequered cement concrete tiles 300mm x 300mm x 25mm thick, with grey cement and pigment, set, jointed and pointed in neat cement slurry in floors, complete all as specified and directed.

Providing precast cement concrete (1:3:6) type C1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) as in kerb stones (of size 200mm x 100mm x 300mm), bed plates, pintle blocks, anchorage etc. (of any section indicated), with plain fair faces, including chamfers, weatherings, throating etc. and setting in CM (1:4), complete with joints to match, with and including provision of necessary form work, complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down cement or cement lime plaster on brick or stone walls, etc., including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water, etc., with and including removal of debris outside MD land, complete all as specified and as directed.

Rendering 10mm thick in CM (1:4) on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces, finished even and fair, complete all as specified and directed.

Preparation of new plastered surfaces of brick, stone, concrete, asbestos or plaster surfaces of any description over 10cm girth or width, not otherwise described and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of priming paint, complete all as specified and directed.

UPVC (SWR) pipes, 160mm bore, single socketed, in any length with rubber ring joints, laid in trenches or in floors, with and including provision of necessary excavation and earthwork, complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down existing unserviceable delineators of any type, provision of Reflector delineator 1200mm long fibre pipe of AB sound body fitted with 500mm long highely reflective reflector around including excavation and earthwork in soft / loose soil, including provision of PCC (1:3:6) type C2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregate) as in blocks of size 150mm x 150mm x 150mm for erecting delineators, complete all as specified and directed. Taking down existing unserviceable solar studs of any size, provision of road stud of solar type made of toughened aluminium alloy body and PC top with 3Nos super bright LEDs on each side and also shall have diamond grade relfectors on each side for improved visibility; the size of stud shall be 113mm x 70mm with 50mm above ground when installed with weight 780gram with a tolerance of (±) 20 grams and shall have 1 No. 12V rechargeable battery and 2.5V, 0.25V-0.30W solar panel; the stud shall have visibility upto 600 metre, compressive strength of 10 tonne / sq.cm and flash frequency of 5Hz which makes it appear as a glowing line when installed along or across the road, complete all as specified and directed. Taking down existing unserviceable cat eyes of any size, provision of Cat eyes, ABS refelctive type, conforming to ASTM D4280 standard with size of stud not more than 120mm x 90mm x 20mm, and shall be fixed to the ground with epoxy adhesive and nails, complete all as specified and directed. Taking down existing unserviceable traffic sign board of any size and any type, provision of traffic sign boards made of high intensity prismatic grade reflective sheeting (HIP type IV refelctive sheeting) pasted on 3mm thick aluminium composite sheet back with frame made up of MS angle iron of size 25mm x 25mm x 3mm and fixing post (1No) of MS angle iron of size 50mm x 50mm x 5mm duly painted with two coat of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer and shall be grouted in ground with proper size of concrete block in PCC (1:3:6) type C2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregate), complete for displaying sign mark in 600mm dia circle, "COMPULSORY SOUND HORN", complete all as specified and directed. Taking down existing unserviceable reflective mirror of any size and any type, provision of round covex mirror of 800mm dia, made of flexible polycarbonate front of 0.80mm thickness, reinforced with plastic back of 3mm thick and shall be mounted on 1.8288metre (6 feet) height and 50mm dia MS pole medium grade duly painted with two coat of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer and shall be grouted in ground with proper size of concrete block in PCC 1:3:6 type C2 (40mm graded stone aggregate), complete all as specified and directed. No. 18.00 to 25.00 here-in-before):- The quoted rates shall deemed to include the provision of excavation and earthwork, RFR as required and removal of surplus soil upto a distance not exceeding 50metre, complete all as specified and directed.
