REPAIR / REPLACEMENT OF LT ELECTRIC SYSTEM AND EARTHING INFRASTRUCTURE IN TECHNICAL AREA AT AF STN HALWARA

Taking up/down worn out/damaged/unserviceable PVC insulated underground cable armoured, heavy duty with aluminium conductors of any size, 1100V grade from trench/duct/pole/wall/pipes/roof tops etc. complete including taking out sand cushioning and brick protection etc, complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Excavation and earth work shall be measured and paid separetely.

Supply, laying, connecting, testing Low Tension (LT) underground cable XLPE insulated, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cable (heavy duty) 1100 volts grade with stranded aluminium conductor laid in trenches/on poles/walls/in ducts/passing through pipes etc including jointing materials such as cable glands, lugs etc of size 300 Sqmm 3.5 core size, complete all as specified and directed. Note : (i) Epoxy cable Joints shall be measured and paid separately under respective items of this BOQ.

Excavation in trenches in soft or loose soil, not exceeding 1.5 metre deep and not exceeding 1.5 metre wide and getting out, complete all as specified and directed. Note : (i) Payment for excavation shall be made for one time in case the new cable is laid in the same trenches .

Returning, filling in trenches including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm thick in soft/loose soil, complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing surplus excavated soil to a distance not exceeding 50 Mtr and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 Mtr above the starting point, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for brick protection with sub class "B" bricks (old size) laid dry, flat in trenches over cable with longest dimension perpendicular to the axis of the cable, complete all as specified and directed specified .

Material & labour for sand cushioning in trenches and well ramming in layers with 8 cm below and 15 cm above the cable with fine dry sand for cable protection, complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Only punned thickness of sand 18 cm shall be measured and paid.

S&F in replacement 40mm bore GI tubing light grade as in cable protection pipe including all fittings, complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in replacement 50mm bore GI tubing light grade as in cable protection pipe including all fittings, complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in replacement 80mm bore GI tubing light grade as in cable protection pipe including all fittings, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for boring under road/path/hard standing to pass the HT / LT UG cables upto 80mm dia pipe with the own arrangements of T&P, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for heat shrinkable straight through joint for LT XLPE UG cables suitable for cable of size 300 Sqmm 3.5 core aluminium, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for complete removal of existing treatment from the old painted steel surface of area exc. 1 sqm but not exc. 2 sqm and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer to LT panel, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L in repairs for earthing with galvanised steel earth plate electrode of size 60cmX60cmX6.00mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25m deep below the ground level) with top edge of the plate no less than 1.5m bellow normal ground level surrounded from all sides by 15cm thick and packed layer of charcol dust and common salt filling in alternatie layers and electrode connected by galvanised iron strip 32mmx6mm by means of bolts, nuts and washers connected to test termination point protected by 40mm bore GI pipe light grade and GI pipe light grade 20mm bore for watering and inlcuding funnel, wire mesh, RCC pit cover and PCC chamber with PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 including necessary excavation and earth work in soft/loose soil, returning filling, disposal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50mtr all as specified and shown in Electrical Plate No 3 of SSR Part-I and testing, complete all as specified and directed. Note : (a) The unit rate shall include for GI water pipe, protection pipe wire mesh, funnel, excavation, RCC pit cover, PCC. Test point, GI strip 32x6mm from top of earth plate upto 7.5 mtr. Material & labour for inspecting and servicing ACB panels along with ACBs upto 1250 Amp, 415 V, 50 HZ, three phase installed at various locations within Air Force Station Halwara by cleaning the complete unit with suitable cleaning agent and checking the serviceablity state of all the mechanisums/components such as variacs, motors, control PCB, Carbon brushes, synchronising motor, drive gear etc conplete and replacing the defective spare parts and testing for proper functioning, complete all as specified and directed. Note : The cost of components / spare parts such as suitable wire, lugs, nuts, bolts and washers required for control wiring shall deemed to be included in quoted rate.

S&F in repair copper strip 75x5mm with porcealian shaddles and fixing screws for roof conductors and down conductors and brazing of joints using exothermic welding with copper rod, complete all as specified and directed.
