SPL REPAIR OF ROAD AT HELIPAD GROUND IN FRONT OF CERTAIN UNIT AT MIL STN KOTA

Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area not exceeding 400 sqm, depth of pot hole exceeding 50 mm but not exceeding 100 mm including rolling over the broken surfaces using 8 to 10 tonnes power roller to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and as directed.

Preparing unsurfaced water bound macadam surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc., sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for applying evenly a tack coat of Cationic Bitumen Emulsion (RS-1) conforming to IS: 8887 at a rate of application of 0.3-0.3.5 kg/sqm on bituminous surface as specified in Table 500-5 of MoRTH specification for road and bridge works 2013, using mechanical sprayer after cleaning of existing surface complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for bituminous macadam not exceeding 75 mm thickness (compacted thickness) using hot mix plant and mechanical paver with 4% binder (paving grade bitumen VG-30 grade) content by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted with power roller 8 to 10 tonnes to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- (i) Bituminous macadam shall be laid using self propelled hydrostatic paver finisher and preparation of mix shall be using hot mix plant and transporting the mix in tipper. (ii) The exact bitumen content required shall be determined as per IRC 27: 2009. The adjustment in rate due to variation in quantity of bitumen if any shall be priced at the rate of ₹44 per kg.

M & L for applying evenly a tack coat of Cationic Bitumen Emulsion (RS-1) conforming to IS: 8887 at a rate of application of 0.2-0.3 kg/sqm on bituminous surface as specified in Table 500-5 of MoRTH specification for road and bridge works 2013, using mechanical sprayer after cleaning of existing surface complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for semi dense bituminous concrete 30 mm (compacted thickness) using graded crushed stone aggregate premixed with binder (paving grade bitumen VG-30 grade) @ 5.5% by weight of total mix & hydraulic lime filler, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- (i) Semi dense bituminous concrete shall be laid using self propelled hydrostatic paver finisher and preparation of mix shall be using hot mix plant and transporting the mix in tipper. (ii) The exact bitumen content required shall be determined following the Marshall Mix Design procedure contained in the Asphalt Institute Manual MS-2 (Sixth Edition) as referred in case 3.5.3 of IRC 111: 2009. The adjustment in rate due to variation in quantity of bitumen if any shall be priced at the rate of ₹44 per kg.

Providing and applying 2.5 mm thick road marking strips (retro-reflective) of specified shade/ colour using hot thermoplastic material by fully/ semi-automatic thermoplastic paint applicator machine fitted with profile shoe, glass beads dispenser, propane tank heater and profile shoe heater, driven by experienced operator on road surface including cost of material, labour, T & P, cleaning the road surface of all dirt, seals, oil, grease and foreign material etc. complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F solar road studs of size not less than 125 mm X 125 mm X 25 mm made of weather resistance aluminium alloy and poly carbonate material electronically welded micro- prismatic lens with abrasion resistant coating as approved by the Engineer in charge. The cats eye shall support a load of 13635 kg tested in accordance with ASTM D4280. The slope of retro- reflective surface shall be 35⁰ ± 5⁰ to base. The reflective panels on both sides with at least 12 cm of reflective area up each side. The luminance intensity should be as per the specification and shall be tested as described in ASTM E: 809 as recommended in BS: 873 part 4 : 1973. The studs shall be fixed to the Road surface using the adhesive conforming to IS, as per procedure recommended by the manufacturer complete and as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. The solar panel shall be high efficiency mono crystalline 2.5 V/60 m A and the battery shall be one Ni-mh type (1.2 V/1200 m Ah) high temp for backup of 36 hours full charging. The flash frequency shall be 60 ± 5 times per minute complete all as specified and as directed.

Demolition of cement concrete(unreinforced) in ground floors and paving not exceeding 15 cm thickness (below or above ground level) complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated material (rocks) exceeding 250 m but not exceeding 500 m and depositing where directed at a level n exc. 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for cement concrete M7.5 (Nominal Mix) using 40 mm nominal size graded crushed stone aggregate 100 mm thick in sub base for laying tiles, pavings, floorings etc. complete all as specified and as directed.

Providing and laying 60 mm thick factory made cement concrete interlocking paver block of M35 grade conforming to IS 15658: 2021 made by block making machine with strong vibratory compaction, of approved size, design & shape, cast in rubber mould, glossy finish of approved colour, laid in required colour and pattern over and including 30 mm thick compacted bed of coarse sand, filling the joints with fine sand etc. complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for cement concrete M15 (Nominal Mix) using 20 mm nominal size coarse aggregate in roof kerbs or mud stops, rounded or chamfered on edges complete all as specified and as directed.

Providing and laying in replacement at or near ground level factory made kerb stone of any size, top bullnosed shape, made of M-25 (Design Mix) grade cement concrete, in position to the required line, level and curvature jointed with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement: 3 coarse sand), including making joints with or without grooves (thickness of joints except at sharp curve shall not to more than 5 mm), including making drainage opening wherever required complete all as specified and as directed.

Preparation of newly or previously untreated brick, stone, concrete, asbestos cement or plaster surface of any description exceeding 10 cm width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of primer of the same manufacturer complete all as specified and as directed.
