RAIL TRACK MAINTENANCE WORK - SLEEPER REPLACEMENT, WHEEL BURN REPAIR AND OTHER MISCELLANEOUS WORKS.

At balasore depot, product receipt is through tank wagons. IOCL, HPCL & BPCL have common industrial siding through which all the rakes are decanted. IOCL is the coordinator of the common industrial siding. All the maintenance works are evenly distributed to the three OMCs and cost incurred is evenly distributed among OMCs. Rail track maintenance is being done by BPCL. Rail track condition is deteriorated and Indian railways has inspected and urged OMCs to carry out important maintenance works. Hence, it is proposed to carry out the major revamp works so that no major mishap in siding occur during wagon movement. Payment to the successful bidder will be evenly paid by three OMCs.
