Re-painting of GBT/RTT communication tower (Light/Heavy weight)including ladder,antenna mounts,cable trays,gantry etc. as per the following operations:

a. Cleaning of the tower to get rid of peeled off paint, dust, rusting, dirt etc. by sand papering and finally with a clean cloth. b. While cleaning of tower, all bolts and nuts shall be tighend and any missing nuts / bolts shall be supplied and fixed which shall be paid for extra. c. Over the cleaned surface of tower a coat of Etch primer [which consists of polyvinyl butyral phosphoric acid catalyst and zinc chromate base and are supplied separately. They should be mixed before use in the specified ratio of four parts base to one part catalyst or as specified by the manufacturer] shall be applied uniformly. d. Over the etch primer coat, one coat of zinc chromate primer of approved brand and manufacuter shall be applied. e. Finally two coats of enamel paint shall be applied as per aviation guidelines and ad per the directions of Engineer-in-charge. [paint / primer used shall be of reputed manufactures like Asian/Shalimar/Berger ].Each item of work from (a) to (d) shall be done after the inspection of the BSNL officer . a) 40 metre four legged angular light weight/ Heavy weight communication tower of Approximate weight upto 10MT including gantry.

Checking & tightening all the nuts and bolts of the tower with torque spanner at all levels of communication tower and replacing nut/bolt or washers wherever necessary as directed by the engineer in Charge.( GI bolts/nuts or washers shall be paid for separately)

Clearing of tower base and immediate surroundings by removing grass/bushes etc and levelling the undulations in ground and disposal of the rubbish away from the tower premises as directed by Engineer in charge a)40 metre four/three legged GBT.

Supplying and fixing approved grade quality GI bolts/nuts or washers in any size / dia as required.

Finishing walls with Acrylic Smooth exterior paint of required shade : Old work (Two or more coat applied @ 1.67 ltr/ 10 sqm) on existing cement paint surface) Important Note: Date of painting done shall be written on the facing foudation with red paint with letters of height not less than 65mm ( a) With cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 fine sand).

Repairs to plaster of thickness 12 mm to 20 mm in patches of area 2.5 sq. meters and under, including cutting the patch in proper shape, raking out joints and preparing and plastering the surface of the walls complete, including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground , all complete as per directions of Engineer-In-Charge.
