Contract Details

Hacking out old broken glass (any thickness, size, quality or description) from metal frames or stone, concrete or brick surrounds, glazed with putty or fixed with beads all as specifiec and directed by Engr-in- Charge. (Note : Old serviceable aluminium beads and glazing clips recovered under this item will refix under item No 2,3,4,5,6 & 7. below.)

S&F in repairs Sheet glass, 4mm thick ordinary quality and glazing with aluminium beading/glazing clips and rubber gasket in square n exc 0.5sq. m in each pane all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note : Cost of rubber gasket, glazing clips and minor accessories is deemed to be inclusive in unit rates, but aluminium beading will either be reused or if new then will be paid saparately under item No 8.)

All as item No 2 above but exc 0.50 sqm in each pane.

S&F in repairs rough cast, wired figured glass, 6.4mm thick and glazing with aluminium beadings/glazing clips rubber strip in squares n.exc 0.5sqm in each pane in aluminium sloping grid work in roofs of glass house all as specified an directed by Engr-in-Charge. (Note : Cost of self threased screws and small accessories is deemed to be inclusive in unit rates, however Aluminium beading will either be reused or if new then will be paid saparately under item No 8.)

All as item No 4 above but exc 0.50 sqm and n.exc 0.75 sqm in each pane.

All as item No 4 above but exc 0.75 sqm and n.exc 1.0 sqm in each pane.

All as item No 4 above but exc 1.0 sqm and n.exc 1.5 sqm in each pane.

S&F in repairs Anodised aluminium sections of 10mmX10mmX1mm, 30mmX20mm X2mm & compatible to the sections fixed on site in frame for doors,windows, Ventilators with one or more rebates including joining cleat beading for fixing etc. complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Running welding not exceeding 6mm in repairs all as specified and directed.

S&F in repairs Framed work of Fe-290 (Gde E-165) as in doors or gates of hollow tubular sections compabtible as MS work on site in glass houses & poly houses with gusset plates, rails, braces, etc. complete, drilled for fixing of steel sheeting or other covering. Doors, etc. to be prepared for hanging or sliding with and including either hooks and hinges or steel hanging door fittings (exclusive of steel sheeting or other covering, running rails and guides) and hanging; also fastening and fixing complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S&F in repairs Band, straps, supports or stays for rainwater, ventilating pipes, including bolts, if required hooks (stay), heavy, for large gates; hook and pintle hinges large hasps & staples; chains; hand made sliding bolts; clamps; hold fasts;wall ties; hooks for hanging fans; plain angle cleats for securing purlins to wood trusses or rafters; knee piece inserts; two way and three way straps, plate washers and similar small articles like U, L or T clamps of FI 20mmX3mm conforming to Fe-290 Gde-E-165 all as specified & directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S&F in repairs 0.63mm thick Mild steel, plain, black sheet in wall cladding, trough or strap steel gates and similar work, cut to size, holes punched; including round headed screws, clout nails or rivets and fixed to steel framing with plain 40 mm lap joints with riveted or welded seams, including bending or turning up, mitred angles, etc. as required all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S&F Rubber tile strip 50mm wide & 5mm thick with fabric backing or insert, plain coloured or marbled topping, matt or with ribbed or fluted topping, laid over aluminuium frame and glass with approved adhesive all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for preparing old mettalic surfaces of any description,and applying one coat of 1st quality aluminuim paint on the section n.exc 10cm width or girth in wall/ceillings srfaces all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for preparing new mettalic surfaces of any description,and applying two coats of 1st quality aluminuim paint on the section n.exc 10cm width or girth in wall/ceillings srfaces all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for preparing new mettalic surfaces and applying two coats of 1st quality aluminuim paint on the section exc 10cm width or girth in wall/ceillings srfaces all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Note :-Tenderers may be noted that amount of credit will be deducted from the total amount arrived, at the time of Acceptance of contract.
